Help Soel Survive After a Devastating Train Accident

Meet Soel, a brave soul whose life changed in an instant after a devastating train accident left them with catastrophic injuries. Rushed to Dr. Pet Hospital in critical condition, Soel arrived suffering from extensive trauma, severe soft tissue damage, and the heartbreaking loss of the lower portions of both forelimbs. Despite unimaginable pain, Soel has shown incredible strength through every step of this fight for survival. The veterinary team immediately began emergency stabilization, providing IV fluids, powerful pain medications, antibiotics to fight infection, intensive wound care, and around-the-clock monitoring. Bloodwork was performed to ensure he was stable enough to undergo surgery, and thankfully the results showed hope for moving forward. Sadly, the damage to Soel’s forelimbs is too severe to repair. The affected limbs are non-salvageable, and without urgent surgical amputation, he remains at high risk for life-threatening infection and ongoing suffering. The hospital is now preparing for amputation surgery along with the continued supportive care needed to help Soel recover safely. While the road ahead will not be easy, animals like Soel are incredibly resilient. With proper medical care, pain management, and rehabilitation, he has the chance to heal, adapt, and experience comfort and love again. Many heroes saved Meredith's life -- now they are all asking for your help! Meredith lay on the side of the road after being hit by a car. Eventually, a kind postal worker spotted the dog. He immediately stopped his truck and called his wife for help. She took Meredith to an animal hospital and paid for her care until Animal Aid of Tulsa heard about their heroic efforts and stepped in. "Poor Meredith," Yvonne H., with the nonprofit group, tells Waggle. "We don't know what happened to this sweetheart before she came to us, but it can't have been good." Now Meredith is hospitalized at Woodland West Animal Hospital. She has extensive breaks throughout her pelvis and a spinal injury. She needs several surgeries to mend her broken body back together. Animal Aid of Tulsa is looking at estimates of up to $9000 just for the operations. The group knows she's worth it and hopes you think so too! "Meredith is a fighter," Yvonne says. "She has exhibited nothing but kindness and sweetness. She's captured our hearts."

Aurora is in dire need of help. The emotional support dog got struck by a truck! "Our poor baby got hit by a truck that came down onto our private road," Angela C., Aurora's human mom, tells Waggle. "The truck driver didn't even stop after he hit her! My son witnessed the whole thing, and my daughter came running out of the house because she heard Aurora crying in pain; they both started crying." Aurora is loved dearly by her entire family, but she's very special to Angela's daughter. "We got Aurora as a support dog to help my daughter. She has Turner syndrome, Dandy-Walker syndrome, celiac disease, a heart condition, diabetes, autism, selective mutism, and ADHD. Since the day Aurora got hit, my kids have had a hard time dealing with her not being home," Angela says. Aurora is being cared for at the Rainbow Veterinary Hospital. Angela is begging for financial assistance to fund Aurora's urgent care. "I am a single mom of five kids, one of which has a lot of medical needs herself, so I am struggling to come up with the money to pay Aurora's vet bills," Angela says. "She is part of our lives every day. there isn't much that we do that doesn't involve her." Please help get Aurora back to her family and healthy again!

Honestly, I was just looking at adoption sites. I like looking at all the cute puppies. I happened upon BARC and when I saw her little face I just knew she had to be with our family. She was such a sweet and happy little girl. Always super excited to wake up and receive cuddles. My husband had a German Shepherd named Charlie and to go along with the ABC military Code words I named her Delta. This is an emergency, Delta having separation anxiety when I took a trip somewhere she ended up spraining her leg in her kennel. Also one vet believes she has a severe case of Kennel Cough and needs to be treated immediately. Delta’s congested sinuses are causing her whole face to swell and become painful to the slightest touch. She’s also been having trouble eating due to this. Honestly we got Delta at six weeks. BARC saved her and her 4 brothers after someone threw them in a dumpster. When we received her, she was still very timid and almost scared of us. She’s is so sweet though. Delta loves sharing the bed and sleeping with us. Before she got sick she loved running around and playing with our cat governor who has one eye. Delta loves sneaking up on governor and lickin I just currently had a baby and with a family of seven and now 3 pets it has been a little difficult to save up for an emergency fund. I’ve been looking for work but no luck. My husband has been paying all the bills, financially we don’t have for this sudden expense.

I saw Bella in a field across the street from the prison where I worked in the desert in Cali. She was inches away from 55 mile an hour freeway. I pulled over and she ran into the field. For 3 days,I sent my colleague to McDonald’s. She could not reach any water, without falling into a drainage ditch that was full of green, slimy irrigation runoff. I left some water and a blanket and cried. Bella had breast cancer when I was able to catch her. It was removed by the end of the first week. She has been a healthy and well loved dog. I am being treated for malignant brain tumor, And Bella goes with me to all my appointments. Where she entertain doctors and patients alike. Every three weeks we do a three day marathon trip from Fort Wayne, Indiana to Boston and straight back. Bella is half Chihuahua and half Jack Russell. She loves everybody and enjoys sleeping behind my knees under the blankets. Her play bow comes quickly in the mornings. As my ability to move has decreased, She has taken to just sitting by my side until somebody takes her for a ride or a walk for physical and cerebral stimulation.she hides under the bed because she doesn’t want to leave me. Bella has been diagnosed with breast cancer again. I’m not working, And we are currently living on my son’s unemployment. She needs another operation.

Atari came into my life at just 6 weeks old From that moment on, we’ve been inseparable. She is truly my best friend. She’s an only child and lives in my middle Tennessee home with my fiancé and I. Atari has always been perfectly healthy until 4/30/26 Atari had a tooth with an abscess that required extraction with VCA.From there a nightmare unfolded. She had developed esophagus stricture, unable to eat she has lost weight and becomes weak. She now requires life saving surgery to fix her esophagus, we are working with blue pearl emergency vet clinic. Atari has always been full of life. She loves car rides with the windows down, long walks, sweet treats, and lounging in every cozy spot she can find — her beds, my bed, and anywhere her humans are. She’s been spoiled rotten her entire life, exactly as she deserves. She is loved by everyone in the family as my fur baby and the grand dog of the family. Atari has given me 11 years of unconditional love, comfort, and companionship. I am doing everything I possibly can to give her the chance to keep living the life she loves. Lola has been in ICU at OSU Veterinary Teaching Hospital in Corvallis, OR since Monday. About 8 days ago Lola’s symptoms started which were cough, low energy, and lack of appetite. My mom and I brought her to Wilvet Animal Hospital in Salem where an x-ray showed possible infection in her lungs. She was immediately referred to OSU Vet Hospital.Lola is 16 months old and already loved by the staff. I am a single mom! I work full time and am in college. I have had Arlo since he was born! His mom came as a stray that I took in and he is one of the puppies I kept. He has always been a lover and looks up to the older dogs. I take in all the strays and if I cannot find their home I will provide it. I live on several acres to keep everyone. Arlo is a sweet dog with a very sweet demeanor. Arlo has always been a cuddle boy. His park is big enough to scare anyone away. Him and another rescue became fast friends and they love to run in the big yard. Arlo is Animal Emergency Center. Arlo is in need of his back leg being amputated in order to survive. Unfortunately we are having to choose his life based on the cost of this extensive surgery. In the last month my husband and I got married. I was in a car wreck which was my fault. Also the transmission went out in out vehicle that is 3 years old. We have had to put a lot of money into unexpected costs. We are now faced with a difficult decision for Arlo.

I found rowdy living on the streets of Yakima, Washington, he was owned by a homeless man. Nothing against homeless. But this man was abusive to him. When I found him, he had a broken leg wrapped in a pillowcase so I convinced the manto let me take him to the vet. The vet said that he had multiple healed, broken bones and that his leg needed to be removed. The man had snapped his leg and a half. Now that he lives with me,. He many surgeries that have helped his health. He lives a happy life with two other dogs. only this time I found out he has degenerate disc disease. He’s in pain, but the pain is manageable for now with pain meds. he loves playing and being outdoors. He’s always in my arms his. He always wants his mama. Rowdy is so silly. He loves playing with his toys and he gives me tons of kisses all the time he wakes me up in the morning loving on me. he goes to bed with me in my arms. He has taught me how to overcome adversity and just still love in the face of pain. Rowdy is a little shaman. He save my heart. Rowdy has degenerate disc disease I need to find out what stage it is. He needs an MRI. I’ve spent all my savings on him with all his special needs. I need to come up with the money for the MRI. I’m told it could be up to $5000 for the MRI. The surgery cost about as much as the MRI. I need to find out the stage of his degenerate disc disease so I can get him his surgery so he can live pain free I have a dog walking service and I just started the business so it’s in its infancy I’m not making much money. I spent all my savings on rowdy please if it’s in your heart, please donate this little boy needs to live to be an old man. He deserves it.
