Tamale was abandoned in an apartment complex as a 6 weeks old puppy. We later found out who and why they did this to her. They said she wouldn’t stop crying day or night. The day we found her at our door she had been left outside for days with no food or water. She had worms and I treated her for almost 3 weeks until it cleared up. She’s not just a pet, she’s the best part of our family. Please 3 days ago Tamale was in a hit and run accident where her back leg required 18 staples. She was hit on her left side cause damage not only to her leg and thigh but I believe her belly as well. She began to try and walk on her back legs but the pain and swelling in her belly and from the staples are too painful so it limits her movements. We were seen at Lafayette Animal Urgent care but didn’t have Tamale is the most energetic, loving caring, sweet lab you will ever meet. She has such a jolly personality and her smile is intoxicating. She follows us everywhere. Making sure we never leave her sight. She’s an amazing protector and we love her so much. I raised her from a 6 weeks old puppy. Tamale was with my sister about 20miles away from home the night of her accident. Please help us! I’m in my first trimester pregnant with twins. The morning of tamales accident was my first ultrasound, which after insurance covered their percentage, I still had to pay my copay and full price for my ultrasound and doctors visit ($357). His name fits him so well when I went to pick my dog from the litter I went for a complete other dog but Baster choose me he bite my shoe he push dogs away from me HE CHOOSE ME and I feel Inlove at first sight. Molly Moo

When my path led me to Molly, I wasn't necessarily looking to add a "pet" to my life. I was 17, just starting out on my own. I met her out on a horse farm. Molly was about 14 weeks old. She was very shy, not the typical pup. I cant explain it, but I adored her the moment I saw her. Molly is my only dog and it's always been just us, adventuring. Moo is much more than a pet, she's my closest friend. Molly was diagnosed with primary cancer of the liver on 4.2.25, she needs an operation to remove the mass that was found in order to save her life. They also found a small bleed that's most likely caused from the mass that needs to be addressed. She's 14, but has been very healthy and happy until the last month when she rapidly declined. The operation needs to be done asap for the best outcome. Molly throughout her life has blossomed into this silly, wild, incredibly smart being. We joke she is like a Sour Patch Kid. Standoffish but then so very sweet. She loves to hike in the mountains, raft wild rivers, play fetch and dig giant holes at the beach, roll around and slide on her belly in the snow, soak in hot springs, swim and camp. We have seen so much together, she's my everything. I was seriously injured and couldn't walk for six months and couldn't be independent for a year. It's left me disabled and unable to work. Unfortunately because of the strain my medical bills put on us, we are having a hard time coming up with the sum needed to help her.

My sweet Bella Grace was rescued from Georgia and sent here to an Ohio SPCA. I adopted her at a pivotal time in my life. She is timid at first. but when she opens up, she is such a sweet goofy girl. A few days ago I noticed that she seemed....off. Now she is refusing to est hard food, incredibly lethargic, and has cherry red gums. I have managed to get her to eat some boiled chicken and rice with pumpkin, but things just don't seem right. I was hoping it would pass in a couple days, but it is not. She is slow moving, which is unlike her as well. Bella has been such a light in our families life. My 3 kids enjoy her dopey disposition and funnt side eyed looks. She is in love with following our old girl Sasha around, and we even laugh and say shes not our dog, she's Sashas. (also a SPCA rescue) Being a single mom of three, working 2 jobs, it seems as though a break is not on my books. After 2 weeks unpaid off from work it sent me further behind than usual. Rudy

Rudy is a 3 year old Bullmastiff in Edwardsville, IL, who needs $2,000 for TPOL Surgery.

I finally felt comfortable in life when we got Rudy in May 2024. I felt we could be a good home for a dog. Loving the dog would never have been hard, but we were finally at a place where we could give a dog the time, attention, and honestly, afford general care/expenses. We got Rudy from a rehome. The previous owner was a nurse, working 12hr shifts, and grown children who were never home. After receiving Rudy, he developed a limp on his back right leg. The vet diagnosed a possible CCL tear. We did meds/leash care which improved his symptoms. This February he was running circles in the backyard when he went down yelping, unable to put weight on his back legs. Both CCL's are torn, but his right knee also has a meniscus tear. They need to do a TPOL surgery on his right knee. Rudy is the best boy! He is calm and cuddles - a gentle giant. He’s always ready to greet anyone with a wagging tail and a heart full of love. Rudy loves nothing more than sprawling out and laying in the grass, soaking in the sunshine. When he’s not soaking up the sun or your affection, you’ll find him munching on sticks or proudly stealing and collecting stuffed animals. I am a single mom of 4 kids. I am an educator, and a basketball coach. Recently, I have had some car trouble, plumbing issues and basement issues. Rudy is only 3 years old and our first family dog. I can't imagine not being able to help him.

Dutchess was obtained by a breeder at 10 weeks old. She has lived in the same home with myself and my husband and her two sisters (another min pin and English Bulldog). she is a loving and energetic dog who is my whole world. In the middle of the night last night Dutchess and her sister Diamond, got into a scuffle. It appears she received trauma to her left eye. I noticed Dutchess's eye was bleeding. I attempted to wipe at it and got some out. This morning it is swollen shut and has tears with a little blood and is in need of Urgent care services that I cannot afford at this moment. She is the love of the house. She loves to give kisses, cuddle, play, and spend time outside. She is the most special girl in her affectionate way. She is the protector as well. I just had my car break down last weekend and so any extra money I had saved has gone to car repairs. I could not have seen this incident coming and am told she needs to see care immediately. And I'm so terrified of her being in pain.

I rescued Wagner from Animal Friends Alliance around three months ago. They did not have much information about him except that he was found in Oklahoma and is an Australian Shepherd mix. Wagner is currently eight months old and is raised by two girls in college. We live in an apartment, but have lots of room outside for him to run around. More and more recently, Wagner has been having medical issues. My roommate and I are not sure if it is because he is a puppy and eating stuff he shouldn't be (we keep stuff high up or locked away), but every time we go to the vet, everything comes back mostly normal. (Mostly because they think he might be anemic). The vet we go to is Midtown Vet and I have also been to the CSU Teaching Vet. Before I adopted Wagner, I had lost my dog unexpectedly to a tumor. I went to Animal Friends Alliance to check out some dogs, and when I saw Wagner, it was love at first sight. I knew I had to have him, so shortly after, I adopted him. My roommate and I always say that he is the dog that Trigger (our dog who passed) sent from heaven. He is sweet, full of energy, and keeps everyone laughing. I'm a college student trying to stay on top of things, but my pup recently needed some vet care I wasn’t financially prepared for. I rescued Winny, 8 years ago from a neglectful neighbor. He lives with me and my 2 children in Austin. He is a sweet gentle boy to all humans big and small. His 2 cat brothers are in charge, so he lets them. Due to his beginnings, Winny can be fearful of new things but Ive worked with him tirelessly. He now loves "stuffies" and has 6 friends. He hears them outside and cries bc he cant play. Winston "Winny" has a full ACL tear and need TPLO surgery. My regular vet, Thrive Pet Healthcare referred him to Veterinary Surgical Solutions (Austin Tx) My kids adore him but he has a special relationship with my son. My son asked all of our extended family to forgo bday presents last month and requested help for Winny instead. He is my emotional support pet as much as I am his emotional support human. He's been with me thru the worst and its heart-breaking that I cant help him My mental health suffered greatly after my ex-husband stole all of my assets. I had to leave a high paying job. Been @ Target for 6yr now with SNAP/Section 8. Finally stable and beginning to look, and now Winny is hurt and I cant help him the way he deserves.

Hi I got Buford from the animal shelter in Douglasville Ga. I am in a group and a lady posted him that he was abandoned at abandoned house. The lady took him to the shelter and I went to see if any one claimed him at had been about two weeks. No one did so I adopted him. Didn't know anything about how his life was before but he was house broken and very good with kids. He do ok with other dogs After getting Buford from the shelter I was told that he was not neutered and rabies shot I had 30 days to do it. I was told about the mass the young lady told me that had been draining it and it comes back but another worker said it can be removed. I made appointment with banfield and they did X-rays blood work.. He is caught up in shots. He also was neutered by Lifeline. He is a calm and peaceful dog. He just fit right in to my family. I have a 4 yr old grandson who loves him to death. He keeps my grandson calm and he loves going for walks. Buford is a peace maker mellow sweet baby. He needed someone that would give him the care and love he deserves. He stays in the house and lives to walk and enjoy the sun. Financially I need the help to give him the best quality of life have the mass removed..
