Princess came into my life on August 5, 2018, when she was just two months old. I got her through a friend of my niece's. I was suffering from severe depression, and as part of my treatment, my therapist recommended getting a dog. I never thought Princess would change my life. Since that day, I've taken care of Princess. I take her everywhere with me. Princess is currently limping on her right leg and can no longer place her paw on the floor. Medications, therapies and massages no longer help her. She has a right cranial cruciate ligament (CCL) tear and medial patellar luxation (MPL). She will have the surgery with Dr. Berg at Midwest Veterinary Specialists. In 2021, Dr. Berg performed the same surgery on her left leg and it was a success. Princess likes shopping. Her favorite store is the Dollar Tree. She likes going to the dog park, eating ice cream,apples, and going for walks in the car. She likes eating chicken. She's afraid of the dark. Since she can't walk properly now I bought her a dog stroller so she can continue enjoying our daily walks and she loves it! I really love my lil baby with all my heart. In recent months, I've had to take Princess to the vet several times for various reasons, and right now I don't have the funds to cover her surgery. We're also experiencing unstable housing. All the bad things have happened to Princess and me at the same time.

Murphy

Murphy is a 4 year old Mix-Breed in Golden Valley, MN, who needs $2,000 for Blood Tests, Ultrasound, and Possible Pleural Port.

Murphy came into our lives in late December 2020. He is a rescue from Alabama and we knew he was the SWEETEST when we first met him, we had to add him to our family. We finally took him home January 2, 2021. Since then, we have gone on many adventures as one of Murphy's favorites things is to be outside. We hike, stay at the cabin, travel to the North Shore, and so much more. On December 30th, 2024, Murphy's health suddenly changed. After a night in the hospital, the vets discovered fluid in both his lungs and abdomen. Through numerous scans, tests, and procedures over months, biopsies revealed lymphangectasia and irritable bowel disease. Despite these findings, the cause remains unclear, and the veterinarians are still trying various treatments to help him Murphy is one of those dogs that we hardly had to "train". It was as if he already knew how to be a good boy! He has had formal training w/ Mom as he has volunteered at a senior living center for pet visits. One resident, who is an artist, even made a portrait of him to show their love. He is very unique looking! We consistently get stopped by strangers and they ask, "What is he? He's beautiful!" We unfortunately do not have an emergency fund to draw from and because he's been called a "medical mystery" numerous times, we have spent close to $16,000 trying to figure out what's going on with him. We're committed to find answers for him, he's that special.

Chicago came into my life almost 3 years ago. He will be 3 September 24th. I got him as a puppy. My mom’s friend’s dog had puppies and my mom thought it would be good for me to have an emotional support dog. She showed me a picture of Chicago and I wanted him right away. He is my best friend. Chicago is the first pet that I have ownership of. His name is Chicago because I like the Chicago bulls! Chicago is a small dog only weighs 8 lbs. He is having issues with his hind leg knee joints on both legs. They keep popping out of socket when he walks. This issue is not going to get better on its own. He is going to need surgery. This surgery is going to cost $6000. That is not an amount that I’m able to afford all on my own. I need help to get my best friend back on his feet comfortably. Chicago loves to play fetch with all his toys. He will grab all of them and want you to throw each one. He hates the rain he runs right back inside and won’t go to the bathroom. He LOVES when I chase him around the house. we chase each other in circles. He will switch up the way he runs thinking I’m gonna go the opposite direction and not catch him. He can shake, raise the roof, and lay down. I do not make enough money to be able to afford this unexpected surgery bill. Me nor the vet thought this was going to require immediate attention. We thought later down the road this surgery would need to happen when he was at an older age. Unfortunately it affects him now.

Chester came into my life after my other dog died. My friend called an said I found you your next dog he looks an acts just like your son. I didn't think I was ready for another dog but soon as I seen him I knew he was mine and we bn together for 6 wonderful years so far. He is my 3rd favorite child. I have never known a love like he has shown me and I love him so much he is a huge part of our family. I'm needing help w his xrays and possible surgery if he has a blockage somewhere. He has been throwing up and pooping blood for 3 days now and I'm so upset and just lost because I don't know how I'm goin to help fix him. Chester is known by anybody that meets him because everybody loves him. I say he's more human than dog because of his huge personality. Also he is a talker so it's never a dull moment w him around. He is the most loving and loyal thing I have ever known an my whole family is worried about him. I would give an organ or a body part if that would help him but unfortunately its money that we need for him to get fixed I am a single mother and just don't know what else to do to get him the help he needs. We will be lost without him.

Vader was adopted from a rescue group in early March and is living in an apartment with access to big yards to run and play as much as his heart desires On March 23rd Vader was playing and hopping around and missed his last landing resulting in a fractured femur high on his back left leg, we found a great vet willing to do the procedure at a low cost at Locke A Taylor Veterinary Hospital Vader loved everyone he meets and it’s so heart breaking to see him so down and unable to greet anyone as he usually would, he’s been amazing with all animals he’s met I am currently on a fixed income and I currently am supporting my parent who suffered a stroke in December which left me with an unexpected hardship. Vader is such a good boy and just wants to be able to run and play like he used to.

He is very outgoing and loves meeting new people and other animals. My fiancé Rachel found Bowen at a shelter prior to our meeting and it was love at first sight between them both. When Rachel and I started dating, Bowen and I formed an instant connection. 7 years and lots of love later, we have formed an inseparable bond with Bowen and he is the apple of our eye. Bowen is in good health although initially presented with digestive issues leading to a prolapsed rectum. Upon a closer internal look, Bowen was found to have a fecal blockage that has caused gas to form leading to possible sepsis despite presenting no symptoms of sepsis. He is currently under the care of Austin Veterinary Emergency and Specialty. Bowen is truly and one of a kind dog with his quirky and unique personality. He is loved by everyone he meets and is extremely docile, loving, and absolutely hilarious. Bowen requires emergency surgery and we have been quoted $20K on the high end to resolve his issue. If Bowen is healthy again, we will continue to enrich his life and love him until the very last moment. If not, it will be absolutely devastating for Rachel and I.

We adopted our 6 mo old coonhounds a few months ago. Brothers Stevie and Stu instantly became our family and are very loved by our 3 boys. On Sunday one got off the leash and yanked it out of my sons hand, and the other followed right behind. Our puppies haven't been around the hwy before and they both ran into traffic. Unfortunately Stevie got hit and has a broken leg. Any help is appreciated Stevie has a broken leg. And multiple wounds. He is hurting badly and we're doing our best to comfort him back to health. We also just had a few financial setbacks dealing with a tragedy in the family. We love our puppies and need help with stevies bill. Thank you for reading. Stevie is shy at first but once he gets to know you he is your best buddy. He has separation anxiety loves to be right at my side. He loves belly rubs and loves to howl. He is super talkative. With all that has happened this past month we have depleted our savings and desperately need help since he has to go back in several more times. Our boys are helping us out so much since he is needing full-time care.

Gunner has been in our family since he was 8 weeks old. My twin boys picked him out and what a great pick they did. He has been such a blessing to our family. He was such a good puppy. Potty trained from day 1 and never wanted to disappoint anyone. We fell in love with him from day 1. Gunner has been very healthy and received his annual shots and physicals. He does have a little anxiety and gets so excited when he sees his people. He loves to be vocal and loves kisses and hugs. And that he gets lots of. Gunner lives his family. He is awesome with all people and animals. He loves babies and loves to be introduced to babies either human or an animal. He absolutely loves children and will stay right by their side. He loves all animals, don’t matter what animal it may be. He is so sincere and would never hurt a fly. He is the best boy that anyone could ask for. Gunner has been having issues with his breathing and was diagnosed with laryngeal paralysis. It flared up twice and ended up hospitalized., He needs tie back surgery and it’s costly. Please help save him. It would mean the world to us to be able to bring him home.
