Quincy

Quincy is a 14 year old Chihuahua in Apopka, FL, who needs $800 for Tooth Extraction.

Apopka, FL

How Quincy came into my life I went to a shelter looking for a pet for companion and I saw this little dog sitting in the corner with his head hung low like he was lonely no one paying attention he was sad so I said he's the one and I went past his cage like three times and I adopted him and that was 2017 I've had him ever since he's got where he needs his teeth taken care of the vet said. What I'm looking for is the vet that I took him to at VCA Sheeler Animal hospital they told me that he needs his teeth pulled they said they could save his bottom ones but his top ones had to go and I'm not in a financial situation where I can afford to do that so there is another vet called pet expert that I'm planning to take him to for the procedure because they seem to be lower cost. Quincy is very special to me I have one other Chihuahua named Riley and they both mean the world to me I both got them both from the same shelter at different times and they were both in very bad condition, they were both underweight when I got them they weighed about 4 lb each and I've since put weight on them they get two meals a day sometimes three. I have filed for disability so I'm fighting that now I have to do an appeal but I have a lot of medical issues myself from depression anxiety some physical health like arthritis and problems with my spine like scoliosis and spinal stenosis along with slip disc in my back.

Frankie

Frankie is a 9 year old Chihuahua in San Diego, CA, who needs $1,999 for Dental Cleaning with Multiple Extractions.

San Diego, CA

We adopted Frankie in 2019. She was in a car accident before we got her, so her hips are fused together, and now she hops like a bunny. For the last 5.5 years she has been living with her brother and sister, also Chihuahuas. Sadly Frankies sister passed away 9 months ago and her brother just passed away on August 27. She is having a hard time adjusting to being an only dog. As a Chihuahua, Frankie has struggled with dental issues. In the last few months they have escalated and become an urgent matter. She has multiple teeth that need to be pulled immediately, and at least one or more teeth that are infected and will require dental X rays, that are very expensive. If Frankies teeth are not pulled she is at risk of severe infection that could get into her blood stream. Frankie is a 'take anywhere' kind of dog, she is very calm, very interested in the world and loves nothing more than going on car rides and walks. She loves all dogs. She is a very quiet dog, she is happiest when she is snuggled up in some fuzzy blankets, or in the car with the windows down. My husband and I recently had covid and were out of work, without compensation. While we were sick, our first dog Kona suddenly passed away at 13 years old. We are at a total financial disadvantage and have been unable to acquire any type of loan for Frankies expenses.

Noodle

Noodle is a 14 year old Mix-Breed in Stoughton, WI, who needs $1,400 for ACT Pre-Surgury Scan.

Stoughton, WI

Our love was destined to be. I went to a closing puppy mill and crouched down to the playpen full of puppies and said ¨Who wants to be my baby?" She was the only one that ran over to me and the rest is history! We live in a house in the country now with a fenced in yard and 2 other rescued dogs. She sleeps around my head at night. She is the first of the pack of 5 rescues I have had over the years Noodle has a lipoma growing over her heart for a couple years now. I has gotten so large, softball size, that her little body can sustain it anymore. It has started to die which will kill her. She will eventually become immune to the antibiotics used to treat the infection caused when the tissue starts to die. She will be seen at Madison Veterinary Specialists on Sept. 5th. for surgical consult. Noodle is so very energetic for a 14 yr. old dog. She is always happy and she lays down and rolls on her back everytime she meets a small child. She loves to voice her opinion and follow me every where. She is adored by my family and everyone she meets. She deserves a chance for more adventures. Other than the lipoma she is very healthy! I have been working full time just barely getting by meeting there normal veterinary needs these days. I have bad credit from a while ago that prevents me from borrowing money. For her to have more time with me would mean the world to me. Please Help!

Buck

Buck is a 3 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in Mooresboro, NC, who needs $1,000 for X-rays, Fluids, Exam, and Medications.

Mooresboro, NC

Buck is a very special guy. He is the first of now 6 dogs. We say he’s our OG boy. When he came into Ryan’s life he wandered up. Ryan was washing his car and this little beat and bloody pup walks up. Half of his little head caved in. We’re not sure but we believe someone threw him from a moving vehicle. He survived. Thank God. And rescued Ryan at the same time. We’re don’t know who saved who. Buck has narrowly escaped death once already. This time he has us, a gf (nova), a son (Georgie), 2 adopted brothers, and an adopted sister(Rosie)who adore him. Buck is bleeding internally. We don’t know why. He’s been to one vet and an emergency clinic last night. The first vet was $200 just to see the vet and get fluids. That’s it. No more money so no other procedures. Buck loves playing outside. He snores like a freight train. And adores his “wifey” nova bean. He’s quite fond of apples and “loading up” for a ride in the car. Buck is def a daddy’s boy. Except for when he’s in trouble or feeling under the weather. He has more patience than any other animal (or person) I’ve ever seen. And he loves the ladies. He never misses the chance for a scratch from one. The second visit to er last night was terrible. Buck was barely breathing and getting cold. Just for a consult was $250. Not even fluids this time. He is still getting worse. His tummy is getting hard and his lungs and ribs are hurting from filling with blood. Please help us

Laci

Laci is a 4 year old Great Dane in Beverly Hills, FL, who needs $2,000 for Antivenin.

Beverly Hills, FL

Meet Laci Lou. Our sassy, energetic, sweet, loving girl. Despite her big size she believes(as all Danes do) she is the world’s smallest dog and will sit on your lap even if you’re in a small recliner. She loves affection and attention. We rescued her from an abusive home and she has been showered with love ever since. She has 3 brothers, recently birthed 12 babies and a loving family of 4. Laci is currently in critical condition after a snake bit her twice. We believe it is a rattlesnake. She is in critical care but slowly improving. She is a UF veterinary Hospital in Gainesville, FL. When we first got there they told us she had a 50/50 chance and we decided to giver her a fighting chance and she is now improving and they are weaning her off of her pressers. Laci is an energetic sweetheart. She loves giving hugs like actual hugs it feels as if she is embracing you. She also loves attention if you stop petting her for a brief moment she will lay her pay on you and look into your soul as if you are abandoning her. She gives high fives and she even spins around in a circle. She loves playing with her brothers and making huge holes to lay in also. We are in desperate need of help. My baby is improving and our funds are running out. How can I just stop treatment knowing she is getting better? We need to give her a fighting chance because I need a lot more hugs from her. Please help.

Urgent need of medical attention. Lately, he’s been unresponsive, and at night, he cries out in distress, unable to move or walk. Despite numerous vet visits and their recommendations for extensive testing or even the possibility of euthanasia im not ready to give up. I am committed to exploring every possible option to understand and alleviate his suffering, hoping to restore his vibrant spirit he was his usual active and playful self, so this sudden change is deeply alarming. i took him to several vets. The vets have raised concerns that he might have heartworm or cancer, recommending further testing and X-rays to pinpoint the diagnosis. I am determined to explore every option. vet info is VCA Flannery Animal Hospital PC He’s more than just a pet! he’s my angel, and his importance to me and my family is immeasurable. As we’ve grown older together, his unwavering loyalty and affection have been a guiding light, and without him, I can’t imagine how lost I would be.
