Khalifa

Khalifa is a 1 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in Henderson, NV, who needs $2,000 for Orthopedic Surgery.

Henderson, NV

I’ve had Khalifa since the first day she was allowed to leave her mama’s side. I’m a truck driver so she’s my co pilot, she’s been with me on the road ever since I picked her up. We don’t take much home time so we travel 24/7. She loves to get out and hike and see all the different plaves we go to. She’s only 1.5 y/o so she is still very active and she loves my 3 kids at home. Recently she broke her rear right leg jumping out of my semi truck window. She’s done it before but all it takes is the one time and right now it’s just a hard time financially with a lot going on, so we are here at hearts alive village located in Las Vegas Nevada seeking the best help we can get. Her bone fracture is pretty severe so a surgery is almost needed asap. So we are looking for assistan As mentioned, I have 3 children at home and 2 other pups, they are all best friends and going to be life long partners. Khalifa is especially special to me because she is my co pilot in my truck. I’m usually gone for about 2 months at a time, and she’s the one that keeps me all my company. She is such a happy loving baby. I hate to see her in this condition. We never know when accidents will happen so I never pictured this happening, and currently just had to cover a major financial expense just a week prior to this. So I’m unable to do this by myself. I’m the sole provider for my household since my kids mom is a S.A.H Mom.

Floyd, VA

I'm odie you can also call me smo or smodie. A few months ago I started feeling bad but didn't know why, my parents took me to the Dr many times, I also had 18 teeth pulled, but I just kept getting sicker and sicker and no longer was able to do any of my favorite things, then they told my parents they found lymphoma, they cried allot so I know it must be bad, but they promised me to help me They took me 3 1/2 hours away to a place called oncology service of Richmond where fetch a cure promised to help with 1000 monthly for chemo treatment, but my parents say they still need 700 a month for that, and that the family member that so graciously helped me to get this far and get me diagnosed unfortunately don't have the funds to keep helping, and my parents have very little money. I had 1 treatment so far, they spent all the bill money on me and now are behind, they said I would not make it long if they didn't, but I feel soo much better already! My tail wags more now and I been doing my favorite things again! And been giving lots of belly love and kisses to let them know how thankful I am. But they said they don't have the funds to keep helping me without your help. it's 90 % chance of remission to be with my family a year or longer, it would mean the world to me and them to spend more time together and get lots of love and lots of fun and do lots more fishing my favorite! I have a video to show you what a good fisher I am.

Nikki

Nikki is a 11 year old Shiba Inu in Norwalk, CT, who needs $2,000 for Kidney Failure 2-day/Overnight Hospitalization.

Norwalk, CT

Nikki is an orange 11 year old Shiba Inu that lives on the 3rd floor of an apartment with me and both my mom and dad. We have had Nikki since she was a couple weeks old and she was always very happy, full of energy, goofy, and loved to run everywhere, until these last couple of months. This fundraiser has been created to help my family pay for our 11 year old Shiba Inu, Nikki’s, emergency surgeries (she has kidney disease, arthritis, an enlarged bladder, sudden muscle weakness, and a foreign mass/potential cancer and had an enlarged and fluid filled uterus with cysts and tummy swelling). We had just got her back today 08/19 from hospitalization after 2 days... kidney failure. Nikki is and has been my best friend for more than 11 years. Her beautiful and heartwarming smile and crazy zoomies always filled us with so much happiness and laughter. She would always bump us with her nose when she wanted attention, to play, or eat what we were eating. But, what was once our energetic and happy baby is now lethargic and unhappy. She barely wants to walk now and sleeps often. The vet bills have already accumulated to over $8,000 in the last couple of weeks and the next surgery is going to throw that overall total to over $15,000. In total, after all of the urgent care, advanced testing, and further imaging the sum will be approximately $20,000.

Safe Landing for Strays

Safe Landing for Strays in Sheridan, OR, needs $2,000 for Kennels, Supplies, and Food!

Sheridan, OR • Harmony New Beginnings Animal Rescue

Harmony New Beginnings At Harmony New Beginnings Animal Rescue, we’re committed to supporting our community’s animals, but we’re facing a growing challenge: The lack of safe spaces for stray dogs to stay while waiting to be reunited with their families. Why This Matters: In our community, most found dogs are eventually returned to their owners. But with limited space and resources, finding a safe and secure place for these dogs to wait is becoming increasingly difficult. The need for additional kennels has never been greater, especially with the growing issue of private shelters in Oregon opting out of stray contracts and several counties, including ours, lacking county-built shelters. We have always been committed to supporting Animal Control and providing necessary resources for our community’s pets. We also: • Vet Animals: Ensuring they are healthy and ready to stay in their homes. • Support Local Food Banks: Providing food and supplies to smaller rescues and families in need. • Work with Smaller Rescues: Assisting with needed food and supplies to keep more animals safe and cared for. The Solution: With limited space and an increasing number of stray dogs, we urgently need to build new kennels. These kennels will provide a safe and secure environment for dogs while they wait to be reunited with their families or find new homes. Without this additional space, we risk being unable to help these dogs, leaving them vulnerable and without proper care. By winning this DOGust competition it will help fund these kennels, which will in turn allow us to: • Expand Our Capacity: Help more dogs find their way home. • Continue Our Services: Support our mission of keeping pets. Every donation and share counts. Your contribution, no matter the size, will help us build these kennels and create a safe haven for stray dogs in our community. Together, we can make a significant difference in the lives of these animals and ensure they have a safe place to stay while waiting to be reunited with their families. Mission: We take in pets and livestock in need of medical, nutritional and sometimes behavioral rehabilitation. We seek to improve health for each animal in our care and find them a home that is a match for them. Our team is made up of Veterinarians, farriers, animal control, donors, and volunteers. The goal of our team is to make the world a kinder place for animals and the people that love them.

🚨 Urgent Rescue and Fundraiser: PUG HOARDING SITUATION: Help Us Save These Innocent Dogs! 🚨

🚨 Urgent Rescue and Fundraiser: PUG HOARDING SITUATION: Help Us Save These Innocent Dogs! 🚨- needs $1,000 for Urgent Medical Care for 16 Pugs.

Berkeley Heights, NJ • Home for Good Dog Rescue

Good Dog Rescue On August 1st, Home for Good Dog Rescue received a desperate call for help. Nearly 20 pug mixes were found hoarded in a single-wide trailer in Marion County, South Carolina. These poor dogs were trapped in a nightmare, suffering abuse and neglect at the hands of a meth-addicted man. The conditions were horrific. These dogs had gone weeks without food or water, and many bore the physical scars of their abuse. Covered from head to toe in fleas and ticks, they arrived with ear infections, eye ulcers, and skin infections. Some were nursing, while others were pregnant. The abuser had inflicted even more pain by burning some with a hot spoon, a chilling testament to the cruelty they endured. Now, 16 of these innocent souls are safe with us, but they desperately need your help. Each dog requires medical treatment, including spaying/neutering, deworming, and care for their various ailments. We need to raise at least $3,000 to give them the chance at a happy, healthy life. All funds from this grant will be dedicated to covering the spay/neuter surgeries and essential medical treatments for our rescued dogs, ensuring they receive the care they need to thrive. Additionally, we will provide our foster families with all necessary supplies, including food, bedding, and medical items, to maintain the dogs' health and happiness while they await adoption. This support is crucial for sustaining a safe and nurturing environment, giving each dog the best chance for a successful transition to their forever home. 🙏 We are asking our community for support. Every dollar makes a difference in the lives of these dogs who have already suffered so much. Together, we can turn their nightmare into a story of hope and healing. Thank you for your compassion and generosity. Mission: Home for Good Dogs is a 100% foster-based New Jersey dog rescue based in Berkeley Heights, NJ. We have been able to save over 12,000 dogs in 14 years thanks to the financial support of our generous donors. We rescue homeless dogs from high-kill shelters in the South, socialize, care for, and provide them life-saving medical care at our property in Aiken, SC, transport them to our rescue in New Jersey, nurture them in our network of foster families, and finally adopt them into loving homes – giving them a second chance at life.
