Yuna is not just a pet—she is my emotional support, my constant companion, and a true member of our family. Our sweet Bella has been part of our family since she was just 8 weeks old. She’s always been such a healthy, happy, and loving companion—truly a part of our hearts. But Bella is too young and too full of life for us to give up on her. This surgery can save her—and we desperately want her to have that chance. Pasha came into my life 10 years ago when a friend visited with her. Pasha wouldn’t leave my side—she chose me. We live in a small apartment with friends who are like family and their 2 little dogs. I’m disabled, and after 11 months in rehab—including nearly 7 weeks in a coma—the longing to hold and walk my precious girl again was the driving force that pulled me back to life and brought me home. Pasha has a mammary mass that was biopsied, and the vet found suspicious cells. She advised waiting for an oncologist to confirm, but surgery is needed to remove the mass and spay her at the same time. Through Rhode Island Community Pet Project, she’ll also have a small airway procedure to help her breathing — three surgeries in one day to give her the best chance at comfort and health. Pasha is sweet, gentle, and full of love. She leans into you to say “I love you,” and still plays like a puppy with her pink bunny. She’s obedient and loves to sit in the morning sun on the step, watching the world go by. I missed her pug snores during my 11 months away—it broke my heart. She owns my heart. With her, I feel safe in a way only pure love can bring. She’s why I keep going every day. I’m disabled and live on a very limited fixed income with no cushion for vet costs. Pasha’s biopsy showed suspicious cells and surgery is needed soon. With your help, she can get the urgent care she needs to stop this from spreading and save my sweet baby's life. Thank you.

My wife rescued Loki in 2017 while I was away for military training. He's now 8 years old and lives in a loving home with our other rescues (3 dogs and 4 other cats). Loki is a "people cat" who's mischievous, affectionate, and loves meeting people. He participates in tea parties with our nieces, serves as a nighttime snuggle companion, and provides emotional support during military deployments. Loki has injection site sarcoma from routine vaccination. MEDVET requires CT scan, surgery & radiation ($25,000-$30,000 total). We have ~1 month before cancer causes pain/becomes untreatable. At 8 years old, he's otherwise healthy & vibrant. Early detection means excellent prognosis for 3+ more years with treatment. Loki is a "people cat" who participates in tea parties with our nieces—sitting in his own chair with plate & cup. He's my husband's devoted snuggle buddy & provides comfort during military deployments. Special bond with our niece who's been the victim of child exploitation when she was 6 years old. Sweet, affectionate, sometimes adorably temperamental. Lights up when family visits. We've always provided medical care for our rescues but $25K-30K exceeds our means in this short timeframe. Losing Loki would devastate our family, especially our niece who's suffered losses this year. He's our comfort during deployments & family joy. We need help to save him

I brought Jumba into my life after his brothers parents had an accidental litter at their breeders facility. What a wonderful accident it was. Jumba is 100% the perfect t description of a Great Pyr. He’s very sweet & gentle but extremely protective of his goats. When he isn’t on goat duty he’s lounging in the shade or playing with his brother Hank. Currently looking for answers as to why Jumba is experiencing partial paralysis. He’s not able to use his rear legs but he does have feeling just not able to walk. We’ve done the basic tests & screening to rule out different causes. We did X-rays & blood work for a variety of issues with no answers. Out next step is a neurologist at MedVet in Akron,Ohio. MRI & more extensive testing is next. Jumba loves everyone he meets! He’s the most gentle soul you’d ever meet but if you mess with his goats he’ll remind you what his breed was designed to do. He does enjoy fun walks with his pack mates during his down time. He is literally the most snuggliest polar bear you’ll ever meet. Just look at his sweet face I do have a stable job as a professional dog walker in the Pittsburgh area. Like everyone else who owns a pet I go above & beyond. Money has never been a factor but with our current economic state business has slowed down & emergency resources are limited.

I was abandoned by my adoptive family once the checks stop coming and I have been doing my best. We were on the streets but I worked hard and saved enough money so now we live in my car and we do doordash to survive while I am in school. It all began right before I became completely homeless I noticed a small bump under her belly which I discovered is a hernia and I have been trying to build enough money to take care of this but it is extremely difficult juggling losses in every aspect and having extra money for her surgery and hotel cost. It has now grown quadruple in size and I am extremely worried. Hospital Name: Emanicipet Bonnie Lulu is all I got. It's just me and her and she is my best friend. She is my protector. I have a group of people who harass and stalk me every single day because I am homeless and tries everything to make me give up on life. They always are trying to invade my privacy and agitate Lulu so I can't study and progress in life. It is a nightmare but I refuse to give in and I keep striving. I go MANY nights without sleep bc that is when I can actually study and do my schoolwork without being tormented. Bonnie Lulu was my dream dog as a child & I met her when was 3 days old and visited her every week til she was ready. I put her needs b4 mines & it's killing me.

Karina is my beautiful baby girl, shes an almost 3 year old Presa canario. She was 5MO OLD living in a house with 7 other dogs. Some of which were extremely aggressive to other dogs. Which resulted in them being taken and uthenized. Since Karina was just a baby, they didn't take her! I begged the owner to let me have her! And he did! She's my best friend, my protector, we are connected deeply About 6 months ago, we were out long boarding. When she was attacked by another large breed of dog. The fight resulted in her leg being injured. At the time I didn't see any swelling just her limping slightly. Over the corse of a few months its gotten worse. Last week she was playing catch with her ball and her ACL finally tore completely. Shes 130 lbs and extremely active. Surgery is a must! Karina is my protector, she loves her family. Children, out in public shes very friendly. At home though, I wouldnt recommend just busting in our home. She's the most loving, empathic, emotional animal ive ever met. In fact she has more personality and common sense than the majority of people I know. I hate that shes hurting and I cant afford to take her pain away. She is such a good girl. I feel Im a single 32 year old woman who just finally was freed from an extremely abusive relationship, another reason I got her) leaving him meant leaving everything and starting over. Its just me and her. I have no family no support system. And the surgery is very expensive.
