Scooby came to me last minute, I got him from someone who could no longer care for him and that was the best decision I’ve ever made. I have 2 other dog and 2 cats. Scooby has been healthy his whole life other then him getting into things and breaking a nail running around. Scooby has been with my 8 year old through it all, he was her first dog and they’re inseparable. Scooby is a 6 year told American bully, he got diagnosed with prostate enlargement on 8/7/24 and always found a unknown mass that needs to be removed. Scooby is not neutered because other then his prostate problem scooby has a hip problem and per the vets they rather him he not be neutered to maintain his muscles so his hip doesn’t give out. He is currently being seen at Marshall vet Scooby is the biggest teddy bear couch potato. Scooby has 2 dog brothers, 2 cat brother and 2 human sisters that he adore with everything. Scooby love to run around the yard and fetch sticks with his brothers, he is a foodie and love all types of food. Scooby may look strong and mighty but he is the biggest baby and is scared of anything in his way, he got his name because of it, Scooby Doo <3 I unexpectedly lost my job, I have been a vet assistant for 7 yrs and now I’m trying to go to school. Hulk is a 6.5 year old goofy Dobie! He’s my doberdork! I’ve had Hulk since he was ten weeks old and we have been through A LOT in these years. He’s been my homie, my good boy, my rock. He hasn’t ever given up on me and now it’s my turn to repay that back to him. Hulk was diagnosed with heartworms back in July. He reacted negatively to the preventative that was given to him and that had him hospitalized for a few nights. We made it through that. He’s in need of getting some fluid drained from his abdomen that has been building up. That’s caused by heart failure on the right side of his heart. He can make it out of it, but with your help. This is my velcro dog. Wherever I am, he’s not far away. We have a bond that can’t be broken. His love for the frisbee is like no other. I’d love to be able to get him through this to be able to get a couple more throws in with him. I was recently laid off from my job a couple weeks ago and spent all of my savings on Hulk’s hospitalization last month and wasn’t able to recover yet. Your help during this would mean everything to us to get him on the upside!

Grunt

Grunt is a 7 year old Dachshund in Joliet, IL, who needs $2,000 for Urgent Partial Jaw Removal Surgery- Bone Cancer.

Grunty is our Dachshund-Pitbull mix that we adopted 10 months ago from Joliet Animal Control. His back story is unclear as he came here to Illinois all the way from Florida. When we adopted Grunt he was still healing from having his eye surgically removed due to what seemed to be a bad long-term untreated infection. His one-eyed charm and stubby little legs immediately won our hearts! After a long journey from his regular Vet finding a tooth abscess a month ago, we learned a painful bone infection was destroying his teeth and jaw bone during a dental cleaning. Next, we got into UOfI Hospital for CT scan revealing jaw tumor appearing to be bone cancer. Today at Ohio State University to do a partial jaw removal/ 2nd biopsy in hopes of saving Grunt’s life from bone cancer. Grunt may have the shortest legs but he has the biggest heart and personality! I am proud to say he chose me as his favorite person that he protects and now it’s my turn to save him. I want to give him a happy long life that he so deserves after a rough past and long term stay in the shelter. He means the world to his family including his little human boy and doggy sister. We are single income due to my recent loss of job. With 2 kids, 2 rescue dogs, 4 rescue cats (1kitty in kidney failure),chickens/ducks. After thousands on diagnostics we’re behind in bills, looking for a miracle to cover this surgery TODAY without selling car/ foreclosure.

I adopted Milo when he was 7 weeks old he’s now 8! Milo was an only child up until May 2023 when we brought home our first baby girl. Things were rough at first with him adjusting but he’s now the best big brother ever! Milo has never had any medical issues. We routinely bring him into the vet once a year for shots and a basic check up. In November 2023 we brought Milo on for his routine check up and they recommended a blood panel just because of his age, everything looked perfect! Starting in June 2024 we noticed Milo limping after walking super far or placing fetch. Milo does wonderfully being a big brother and an amazing dog never barks when people are at the door never jumps on people just a BIG lover. He loves to be pet and loves to cuddle. I had a baby in May 2023 and only got paid a little bit of money on maternity leave I am still in debt 5k from maternity leave and now have a $700 pet bill to also pay.

A friend saw Cash’s picture on Facebook last year and messaged me saying “this is your dog”. I had just lost both my dogs over the last 2 months from Cancer and felt lost without a dog. I inquired about Cash and the arrangements were made to transport him from Louisiana to me in Illinois. Little did we know he had a left hip in many pieces due to abuse as a puppy. So into surgery he went. Cash has recovered from his FHO surgery but as a very active dog (he is about 2) he has now torn his ACL In his right leg! Due to size, breed and age he needs a Tightrope repair done, which is expensive. Dr. Tyson Grover from The Friendly Vet Animal Hospital in Lisle Illinois will be Cash’s surgeon. He has done Cash’s hip surgery and Cash just loves him and his staff.! Cash is a very resilient dog! He loves everyone he comes in contact with despite his rough start in life. He loves to gives kisses to everyone! He LOVES his Kong stuffed with a special treat every night and loves his 3 Cat siblings. He can be found snuggling with his BFF Gimlet (cat) on a daily basis. He loved to play tug and would love to get the knee fixed so he can tug again and go on walks I became disabled and am on SSI. It barely covers my monthly expenses. My Mother, who I live with is also on a fixed income. We also are currently working on paying off ACL surgery and IBS treatment (special food and meds for life) on one of the cats and can’t afford this.

I worked as a kennel tech w Charleston animal Society Working As A Technician in The Sick Dog Pod Area of the shelter.are in which I Believe He contracted Mange.W out consistent treatment he will never get well.Just need help getttting him to a vet & treated in order to get him well again 🥹 I'm seeking help financially to at least help cover the initial visit w the vet to at least get him started on treatment & back on Bravecto which helped treat the mange. But at this point he really need to be seen by a vet as he may need to be started on antibiotics being he's gotten worse. His Vet Hospital is. Hanahan Veterinary Clinic North Charleston SC Hunter is special bc sick or not his tail is always wagging & in happy spirits despite His Health Struggles. He's very smart. Protective & very living my cats I'm unable to work only make enough to keep a roof over my animals & I. Istruggle w social anxiety, depression. Only being keeps me well mentally is my dog who is very ill. But he always remains good spirits despite his health condition

We are a big family of 11 including Cody. We have 4 kids, husband and I, sister-in-law, her 2 daughters and mother-in-law. And up until February of this year my father-in-law. God rest his soul. Cody came to us at 3 months old and been with us since. Grew up with all 6 kids as one of the kids. And currently my husband is the main breadwinner, and I work only part time as a paraeducator. Last year he tore is ligaments while running around out back yard and had to get surgery. And now he has a big tumor behind his leg and his vet Angels Care Animal Hospital in Upland, CA. Says he needs surgery to remove the tumor. Cody acts like a typical teenager. He acts upset when he doesn’t get his way. Love to play with the kids playing keep away. He is also a scary cat but will defend the family ferociously. He provides emotional support for my teenage daughter. We got him for a birthday day gift for one of my niece who is attending college currently who is especially attached to Cody. We are facing financial difficulties. My husband is on a fixed income and I work as a paraeducator at a local school for which is only during school. It is very difficult to see Cody suffer. We want Cody to be healthy and happy again.

My boys and I adopted Moose in April of 2023 at 3 months old from a rescue. He has been such a loving spunky addition to our family. We have 1 other dog and 2 cats. It’s just me and my 2 boys at home. Their father passed away in February of 2021 and Moose has brought some missing love back into our home. Moose is currently staying at Stafford Veterinary Center due to peritonitis after undergoing emergency surgery to remove an obstruction in his small intestine on 8/2/24. He is having another surgery as I write this to place a Jackson Pratt Drain and check for further damage. Moose is such a loving dog that loves everyone he meets. He is full of energy and loves visitors. He is a huge part of our family and we are lost without him at home. I am currently laid off from work for the summer and have no disposable income or savings at this time. Having Moose back home with us and healthy would mean the world. It’s been very hard to get my oldest out of his depression from our previous loss. This will devastate him

My friend cared so much about my mental that he gifted me a tripod puppy. I was honored that he seen my heart and that he knew I’ll treat him as if he was a 4 legged puppy. He currently my support animal and has helped my through domestic violence and emotional abuse. He’s a full blown pit bull that is full of love He has something caught in his intestines which is causing a blockage and now he needs exploratory surgery. It is very expensive and I’m currently struggling to get him the treatment he needs. It’s life threatening and I really need emergency help He is a tripod, he’s very happy and friendly. Loves children and kissing. He also loves outside never bite anybody. He’s super loving and he does very well with other animals such as dogs and cats Lost my job due to domestic abuse, had to go to a domestic violence shelter and I need him with the state of mind I’m in dealing with the trauma. he’s not eating in 4 days, haven’t pooped in 4 days, and throws up constantly. I’m ready for him to be back to his norm self
