Evie

Evie is a 1-year-old Pitbull Mix in Estero, FL, who needs $2,000 for MRI.

Estero, FL • Love Is Fur Ever Dog Rescue

Evie was found as a stray on side of the road after being hit by a car. nable to move any of her legs, covered in cuts and scrapes. A shelter took her in and gave her basic Medical Care while posting a plea for someone to rescue her. Going to the shelter to visit her and seeing her sweet personality we couldn't help but rescue her. The emergency vet recommended her seeing a neurologist for an MRI. We don't know what Evie's life was like before we met her in the shelter. She will be going to her foster home today. That is where we will learn her true personality where she will be given love and spoiled rotten. She will be given everything she needs to rest until her next Veterinary appointment. Considering that Evie was in severe pain with a torn ACL in her back leg, cuts and scrapes all over her body, and a left front leg unable to move it all, Evie still continue to wag her tail and try to stand to say hello to her foster mom when she visited her for the first time at the shelter. A dog who is happy to greet someone despite the pain they must be experiencing is exceptional Evie was rescued from the shelter and taken to SCAN (Specialists in Companion Animal Neurology), Naples Florida. They did a complete spinal MRI today March 22nd 2023. Luckily Evie was found to have no disc injuries or broken vertebrae. The reason that she cannot stand is due to a brachial nerve injury to her left front leg and a torn ACL on her right rear leg We are a non-profit rescue that strives to save dogs who need medical care or else they would be euthanized. Unfortunately with the trying times of covid in Florida and hurricane Ian damages, donations are very difficult to obtain to provide the expensive Medical Care

Rizzo

Rizzo is a 7-year-old Pitbull Mix in Montebello , CA, who needs $1,750 for Bladder Stone Surgery.

Montebello, CA

Rizzo came into my life when my other dog Yoni passed away. Rizzo has been in my lif for the last 7+ years. She is my best friend and my beloved mom’s buddy. Rizzo was very sad when my mom passed away over a year ago. Rizzo is a friendly dog. Rizzo’s mother is part pit bull/boxer and her father is German shepherd/bull massive. Rizzo is a very loving dog. My mom was scared of her at first. But after a week living my mother house she fell in love with her. I remember the day my mother told me that Rizzo was now hers. But I still needed to walk and love her always but she was my mom’s dog. My mother would look at the window and Rizzo would right next to her looking out too. You can see my mother in the picture with Rizzo She was very protective over my mother. If she did not trust the person, Rizzo would sit right next to my mom and not let the person get close to my mom. My mom would laugh and than tell the person to sit over there. I knew that my mom was always safe when Rizzo was over her. I have pictures of my mom and Rizzo sharing human snacks together. They were buddies Rizzo and I have been having a hard time since my mother passed away. We stay in my mother’s probate home for now. I took Rizzo to the vet because she has blood in her urine and her ears. The v r took x-ray and found stones in her. That’s when the vet told me to call back today for pricing the surgery. They told me it will be $3000for her surgery. The vet told me about Waggle and here I am today I have ID theft going on still today. The bank fraud dept was able to get some me info but the damage has been done. This was why I’m asking for help for Rizzo. I was able to found out who did it and now there are going after them. But like I said the damage is already done

Mable

Mable is a 10-month-old Pomeranian Dog in Hedgesville, WV, who needs $1,500 for Luxating patella repair.

Hedgesville, WV

This is Mabel:) she is a 10 month old Pomeranian! She is VERY playful and loves to run around with her best friend Finn, our youngest cat! Mables favorite things to do is go for walks, play with our cat Finn, and eat dinner with us! Mable is one of a kind girl. She is so young and very curious about the world. Mable was 6 months old when we rescued her best friend Finn. We got him at 3-4 weeks old and nursed him back to life! She has loved him since the minute I brought him home. They play together, try to sneak outside together, and they even snuggled up together every night. They became partners in crime! Mable is one of the most hyper dogs I’ve ever met. I love coming home to her and her energy!! She always wants to chew on her bone right in your lap but then gives you a playful growl when you try to move her! She is simply the cutest thing ever! The funniest thing about Mable is how she will run in the field with grass taller than her and come running out covered in grass with the biggest smile! After many vet appointments, meadow branch animal hospital discovered Mable had a genetic issue that has caused her knees to pop in and out of place on both back legs. This is fixable with surgery, but has caused my little girl so much pain. Along with her knee issue, her joints, ligaments and tendons are also needing to be reattached as the knee has pushed them to tear completely. Mable has so much life left, and we really want it to be of good quality! I’m currently in nursing school and living on my own, so a bill like this can be really hard! It would mean the world to me to have my little girl walking again. She wants it more than anything to run!

Buddy

Buddy is a 7-year-old Beagle/Dachshund in Menasha, WI, who needs $2,000 for Cruciate Repair Surgery.

Menasha, WI

Buddy came to us from Unspoken Loving Animal Rescue in 2014. He was one of a litter of five, and was three months old when I adopted him, and ours was his fourth home (not including fosters) in his short life. He has now been with me for seven years. He suffers from separation anxiety and so is rarely left alone. He enjoys sleeping on at least two of the living room chairs (both of which belong to him, according to him), though currently cannot reach them. He greatly enjoys demanding attention from Mom and every visitor. Mom is his favorite person, and he gets jealous if anyone else gets hers or Grandma's affection. He likes to run and play along the fence with the neighbor dogs. Most of the time during fetch, he's torn between releasing his ball and playing tug-of-war. Inside, his favorite activities include chewing up his doggie beds, waiting by the door for Mom to come home from work. Buddy is all-around the most affectionate dog I know, though he's not a cuddler. This past Monday, April 4th, when letting Buddy outside in the morning, I watched him run halfway through the yard at which point he could no longer put weight on his hind right leg. Our vet determined his cranial cruciate ligament had ruptured and referred us to another veterinarian with more experience performing the required surgery. Buddy's surgery estimate runs about $4000 USD, and my household runs on a single income. Buddy brings us joy, and to see him suffering and unable to do what he most enjoys is unbearable.

Photo of Diezel

Diezel

Diezel is a Bull Mastiff puppy in Delevan, NY, who needs $1,900 to replace ligaments and tendons in elbow and place elbow back into socket.

Delevan, NY

Diezel is just 10 months old. He has been with us since he was 7 weeks old. Diezel is one of two other dogs in our family. Diezel is not just our family pet and companion. He is one of my kids. He is my life, best friend, and sidekick. Diezel is the sweetest most gentle giant you will ever meet. He deserves the world. Diezel is a major part of our family. He sleeps with me every single night. He goes everywhere with me. Diezel is my best friend and companion. Diezel enjoys playing with stuffed animals and playing tug o war. He plays with his other fur baby friends Koda and Sadie daily. He loves to play in snow. Diezel is a very sweet loving boy with no mean bone in his body. We get hugs every morning from him. Koda and Sadie Mae are diezel's best friends and they walk side by side even when causing mischief. Diezel will wrap his legs around you like a human and hug you tight, even with visitors he doesn't know. Diezel is also very vocal and will talk to you. When your sad he comforts you, and lick away your tears. Diezel was hit by a car on Monday night of December 10th. He sustained a leg injury that needs surgery to fix. Unfortunately the medical costs are preventing his surgery and recovery. Diezel was bounced from one vet to another and we were treated poorly and a vet denied services to diezel after accepting him in his office. We found another to accept him. I am a single mom currently not working so on a fixed income due to my daughters disability. The surgery diezel needs is over 4,000.00. diezel is one of my kids and getting him healthy and normal again would mean the world to me. He doesn't deserve to be put down.

Elvis

Elvis is a 5-year-old Shepard/Lab in Richlands , NC, who needs $2,000 for Hemilaminectomy.

Richlands, NC

Elvis Prancer is the love of my life. We adopted him 5 years ago from a rescue. He actually rescued me! His name was already Elvis and he was 12 weeks old and he knew his name so we kept it. I added on the Prancer because he prances when he walks and runs. He was found buried alive and had many applicants to meet him, but the rescue chose my application. Elvis Prancer has the run of the household. He has a fur brother named Scout Dasher. They sleep in bed with us every night. Elvis loves to play, go on walks, and make new friends at daycare. He absolutely loves butt scratches, belly rubs, and snuggling. He is such a funny, quirky, and amazing boy. He is afraid of the world and very protective of me (his mama), but at home he is the King. I am currently 8.5 months pregnant, with my first child through IVF it was very expensive and we are still paying that off. Elvis’s bill was just under $8,000 and he now requires physical therapy to maybe walk again. I can’t imagine my life without him. I came home from work and Elvis was paralyzed. His back end was completely paralyzed. I was so scared I scooped him up, all 55 lbs of him and me being 8.5 months pregnant. Rushed him to his vet and they couldn’t help him. He needed a specialist, so I drove him over 2 hours away to NC State Vet Hospital for MRI and surgery. His neurologist is Dr. Sabol. Elvis us special because he makes the bad days good. He has this way of making you smile and laugh even when you feel broken. He lets you know what he wants and tells you vocally when it’s time for him to eat, go potty, or when he needs to go on a walk. He absolutely hates thunder or any bad weather. He loves to wear sweaters to calm him down and will fight you when it’s time to take it off.

Daisy

Daisy is a 9-year-old Boxer in Riverside , OH, who needs $1,250 for CCL rupture.

Riverside, OH

Daisy was not originally part of the family since she was my grandparents dog. Ever since she was a puppy she lived with them. My grandfather got her for my grandmother who's dog was very sick. We being my mom and little sister seen her almost on a daily basis for 9 years. So when my grandparents passed in 2020 we couldn't let her go to a shelter. And thats who she now has a sister and 3 brothers. At first the others dogs weren't to happy to have her here being she was a lot bigger than them all. But the two youngest boys welcomed her and cant leave her side. She loves everyone tons of kisses and just because she is 85+ lbs doesn't mean she won't sit right in your lap. She is best friends with the youngest they are always sleeping together or running around causing trouble. Due to the passing of both my grandparents there is many cost that came with it. Daisy is a part of our family, words can not describe the gratefulness and joy to have her back and playing again. she is one of the things that still ties us to a happier time with her love Daisy needs a surgery to fix a torn ligament in her back leg. Since she was injured she hasn't been her energized crazy self. With the torn ligament she has to hop around while being in pain not understanding why she can't move her leg. The surgery we are trying to get her would be done at the Airway Animal Clinic. Daisy has only been with us for little less than 2 months but she has worked her way in to the hearts of not only us but the other animals she lives with. She is our youngest dog's best friend he never goes outside with out her. She is my sisters childhood dog so every now and then you catch them sleeping in a ball together.

Ramos

Help Ramos get MRI, potential surgery — Austin, TX

Austin, TX

I adopted Ramos, better known as Moos, when he was 4 months old. He's been with me through the best & worst periods of my life. Always by my side as my rock. He is extremely intelligent, has a big personality and an even bigger heart. I've had dogs before, but never have I experienced a connection like this. He is my heart, my soul dog and we love each other unconditionally. Moos suddenly couldn't move his neck or lay down without whimpering in pain, struggled to stand up and stopped eating/drinking normally. Vets suspect a cervical disc injury (IVDD) pressing on his spinal cord. He also has reduced kidney function, complicating anesthesia and medication. He needs an MRI in September to confirm the diagnosis and guide treatment: rest, medication, or possibly surgery. I'm not exaggerating when I say I love him like a child. Moos has such a grounding, calming energy which always had a positive effect on me and the people around us. He's my biggest mirror and source of growth. He's always by my side, traveled with me to the other side of the world and I'm not done showing him the world yet. I would do absolutely anything for him too keep him safe and happy. I'm a Dutch tourist in Austin with no income and insurance, and he's too sick to fly home for treatment in the Netherlands. I feel helpless watching him suffer so I want to give him the care he needs right now but I can't afford his MRI alone (≈ 4,000 USD). Every bit helps!
