Meet Rosie! 🐾 This sweet girl was rescued just in time from being euthanized at Baldwin Park Animal Care Center. Since then, she’s blossomed in the care of some amazing foster homes, showing just how loving and resilient she truly is. Rosie now has a forever home lined up—she just needs a little help getting her medical care up to date so she can start her next chapter happy and healthy. Rosie has a few lumps and bumps that need to be removed, and some may be cancerous—biopsies are needed to know for sure. She also has an impacted tooth that could be causing her pain. Aside from these concerns, Rosie is in great health, and we want to make sure she has the longest, happiest life possible. She’s currently receiving care at Beverly Oaks Animal Hospital. Rosie is an absolute sweetheart with a heart of gold. She’s gentle, affectionate, and endlessly loving—a true companion through and through. Rosie gets along wonderfully with all animals and has a calm, wise spirit that makes her easy to adore. She’s also a smart girl who quickly wins over everyone she meets… it’s impossible not to fall in love with her! 💕🐾 Sweet Angel Dog Rescue is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) that cares for many dogs in need. We face constant veterinary bills on top of daily care, and our resources are very limited. Large medical expenses, like Rosie’s, put a serious strain on our ability to continue rescuing.

Snoopy

Snoopy is a 15 year old West Highland White Terrier in Ocoee, FL, who needs $8,000 for Surgery on His Torn Esophagus.

Snoopy was meant to be my cousin's dog. The neighbor was giving him away since he was too high energy and she was expecting her 1st child so having a puppy was too much for her. While waiting for my cousin to arrive, Snoopy sat on my lap and the rest was history. He chose me as his human and we've been inseparable for 15 years. Snoopy was attacked on 2/19/26 by something. I rushed him to the hospital. I was approved for 2K credit and my father covered an extra 6K with his credit card. Snoopy is staying at All4Pets Hospital and is in critical condition. He's being watched for 24 hours but still need emergency surgery once he's stabilized. Snoopy is special because he's been my constant throughout my entire life. From my marriage, 1st born, divorce, schooling, jobs, Snoopy has always been my constant. He always seemed to "listen" and was very aware of my feelings. I've always said if there was an action figure made of me, there would ALWAYS be a Snoopy in the box as well. I currently work 2 jobs but still live paycheck to paycheck. It's always enough to keep us above water but this situation has caused a gigantic financial hole for me. While my dad was able to help with today's bill, the $6K price tag does not include Snoopy's surgery.

Benji

Benji is a 12 Year Old Mix-Breed in Elgin, IL, Who Needs $1,500 for Echocardiography.

We got Benji from a friend when he was 10 months old, back in 2014. He just turned 12 on Dec 9th! He was the first dog my sister and I ever had. He as always lived with either of us sisters, and he currently lives with me (Erika) by his own choice most likely due to him being the only dog here. Benji was diagnosed with Congestive Heart Failure in August of this year. His primary vet is Dundee Animal Hospital of Elgin but has been seen at Thrive a couple of times since diagnosis for emergencies. Benji loves his human friends and family. He loves to get belly rubs, and especially his treats and will even do special tricks, such as saying please, speak, shake, dap, roll over, and play dead to earn them. He loves cuddling and spending time outside sniffing. He's super smart and understands a lot. Though he isn't a dog's dog, and tends to be reactive he still shows love. Though there are 2 of us caring for Benji we both have very limited funds especially after dealing with multiple pet emergencies (2 for his sister, and 2-3 for him) current funds and savings have been depleted. We are both struggling with income, and are both adult students.

Maddie

When Maddie was a 12-week-old puppy, she went to live with Kiley S., who started training her to be a service dog for Guiding Eyes for the Blind. Kiley shed tears when the time came to drop Maddie off with the organization to complete her training. Kiley thought it was goodbye forever, but four days later, she got an unexpected call. "They called me asking if I would adopt her; she had a heart condition," Kiley tells Waggle. Kiley instantly said, "yes." That phone call was life-changing for Maddie and Kiley -- who suffers from an autoimmune disorder. For the last ten years, Maddie has helped Kiley. "She picks up on emotions and health changes and takes actions to help me cope. She constantly gives love," Kiley says. But on Maddie's 10th birthday, her nose started bleeding profusely. Kiley raced her to the animal hospital. A CT scan revealed Maddie has a mass blocking part of her nasal cavity and throat. She needs radiation to shrink the tumor. Kiley is devastated because she can't afford the treatment. She has paid $15,000 to help Maddie so far. Kiley just got a new job after losing hers during COVID and used her savings to pay the bills while unemployed. Please help Maddie get the treatment she needs!

I have 5 children and every birthday every Christmas my kids would ask for a dog. My friend at work often heard me say i would love a dog for my kids but i cannot afford it. So she surprised me with the news that her dogs were having puppies and she would give my kids one of them. And we were so lucky because Ollie was the only puppy born. We are so blessed to have him. Ollie is a great addition to the family my kids are absolutely crazy and Ollie is a puppy and is full of energy and full of life so he blends very well. The kids love having a dog. They are constantly showing him off to their friends. He loves family and with Covid we don't see family very often but when he sees my mom my cousins my grandparents he goes crazy full of excitement. Ollie is special because he has so much love to give he's so innocent just like children. He is a companion, a friend. I feel so bad that he has to go through surgery and is in pain. He just loves his family so much. But honestly cannot live without him the kids would be devastated if something happened to him Ollie was playing with my four-year-old son and I believe my son might've accidentally dropped him and suffered a tibial fracture and the only option is surgery. I was cooking dinner and took an eye out for them for a second and heard him yell out in pain and I know that something happened. I have never seen him in pain or cry out in pain I've been out of work for over six weeks due to a pulmonary embolism and I'm slated to go back in January I have an assignment so this surgery right before Christmas is a lot of financial burden. Yes otherwise healthy dog and my other option was to amputate his legs

My daughter and I rescued Reese when she was 6 months old. She captured our hearts immediately. She was not in a good situation, in fact we would later learn in the news how bad the situation was. I wanted to be sure she would be compatible with our 2 cats. We made arrangements to meet her in her environment. She was living in a cattery and we could see she loved cats and kittens! Reese is my heart dog! She is a beloved family member. She loves my daughter Kaiti who lived at home for Reese’s first years and has always been crazy about her boyfriend. She adores my grandsons. When she was younger and more rambunctious she had a gentle mode for the kids. She tucks them in at night. My mom visited recently, Reese tucked her in every night, once asleep she came downstairs. Reese is bonded and BFF with Gracie cat who is also a rescue. Gracie and Reese sleep together always. Gracie is Reese’s emotional support during thunder storms. Reese loves the mailman and the delivery drivers. She waits to greet them! She seeks out children so she can see them. She would like to kiss them. Reese would like to kiss everyone that sits on our sofa on the lips! Reese was diagnosed with a mast cell tumor & oral melanoma 11/22. She had 2 surgeries and completed the Oncept series of the oral melanoma vaccine. She is doing well. She has no metastatic disease. She had 30 post Oncept chest X-ray. Dr wants chest X-ray at 3 & 6 mo post Oncept. At 6 mo she needs an Oncept vaccine. These costs total $2,129.21 I am still paying off medical expenses from an issue with my autoimmune (Lupus SLE, RA, Sjogrens) that caused loss of work, and I just had COVID and complications of for 3.5 weeks this March which I incurred a $3500 bill from Mayo.

When Shona was rescued by Baw Baw Animal Welfare, she was fighting for her life. This local stray girl had been hit by a vehicle and left with devastating injuries. She struggled to breathe, had severe wounds to both of her back legs, and had already lost part of one foot. On top of her traumatic injuries, Shona was suffering from parasites, painful skin problems, and signs that her body was battling a serious infection. Shona was immediately given the one thing she really needed: a chance. Her veterinary team acted immediately, providing emergency treatment, medication, fluids, and around-the-clock care to stabilize her. She continues to need intensive treatment and careful monitoring as they work to control her infections, help her wounds heal, and give her the best possible chance at recovery. The cost of saving a dog with injuries this severe adds up quickly, and Baw Baw Animal Welfare cannot do it alone. Tilly is my heart and soul, a sweet, resilient 5-year-old mixed-breed girl I rescued from a shelter in SC. Her litter was heartbreakingly abandoned in a box on the side of the road, left to fend for themselves until the shelter owner found them. From the moment I brought her home, she’s been my constant companion, full of love, joy, and those silly moments that get me through tough days Tilly desperately needs TPLO surgery on her back left leg for a torn CCL. Surgery is scheduled for July 10th. Without it, she will gradually lose the use of that leg entirely, and it often leads to the same problem in the other leg, which could leave her completely unable to walk. As someone who knows what it’s like to live with pain and mobility challenges, I can’t bear to watch her suffer. Tilly is the biggest sweetheart. A sweet, loving, calm, and friendly five-year-old mixed breed rescue. She’s wonderful with people of all ages, including children, and gets along beautiful with other dogs. Her gentle, affectionate nature, lights up every day and make sure the perfect companion through life’s ups and downs. I’ve been dealing with serious injuries from a work accident that left me partially disabled. I can no longer do my trained job & am searching for new work while struggling to make ends meet. Tilly’s surgery has hit at the worst financial time, but I refuse to let her down.

Jude is a 7-year-old American Bulldog/Mastiff mix. We adopted him from a shelter at age 2 after he was rescued from a dog hoarding situation. He lives indoors in a loving home and is my emotional support animal. We have one other dog who only trusts him, and they are very bonded. Jude is gentle, well-trained, and loved by everyone. Jude dislocated his hip a few weeks ago. A closed reduction was attempted but failed due to soft tissue damage. His hip has remained dislocated while we waited for surgical implants. He now needs surgery to walk and live without pain. He is being treated at Susitna Animal Urgent Care. Jude is gentle, calm, and loves everyone—kids, cats, and adults alike. He’s a certified emotional support animal and has passed advanced training. Children at the park give him treats and he happily does tricks for them. At home he is loving and patient, and he is the only dog our other rescue trusts. We’ve already spent over $3,000 and maxed out CareCredit trying to help Jude. I can’t afford the surgery he needs to be pain-free. It would mean everything to keep him with us, happy and healthy, instead of facing pain or losing him because of money.
