Onyx and his sister Luna were last-chance adoptions from PetSmart, and I’ve had them since they were 3 months old. I named him Onyx for the stone’s meaning—strength and resilience. He’s a big, affectionate cat, often called “Mr. O” or “Big O.” He lives with me and Luna, enjoying naps in the sun and watching the world from the window. On March 19th, Onyx fell from a 6th-floor balcony onto a metal grate, breaking both front paws. His left paw had fractured toe bones and is slowly improving. His right paw suffered far worse—both the radius and ulna snapped in half. He began treatment at VCA and now receives weekly bandage changes, wound care, and infection management at Toebeans & Tails. Onyx is a sweet, lovable cat with a big personality. He loves bird-watching from the window, mealtime is his favorite part of the day, and he never turns down a treat. He often chases his sister Luna around the house in playful bursts but always ends the day curled up nearby. His gentle nature and silly habits make him a constant source of joy. The accident was sudden and severe. Since March 19th, I’ve been paying $336 weekly for Onyx’s bandage changes while managing his healing non-surgically, it’s been financially and emotionally hard. X-rays at 8 and 12 weeks confirmed surgery is necessary

I'm having his first appointment on Thursday for vaccines and he also might be needing to be spayed. He is over 2 months so he might need more vaccinations. Bungee is so friendly and he likes to get pet. He loves to jump and run freely. He loves to snuggle. He likes to get fed by hand. He climbs wherever he can reach. Recently my job has been cutting hours due to low business. I am worried i won't have enough to cover all the charges for my pet. I really love for Bungee to get all the care he needs.

My baby has been resilient from the moment I adopted him. He was so sick and had all the signs of parvo. I nurtured him to health. It’s just him and I in my studio apartment. I work from home so he gets extra attention. I’ve had him since he was 13 weeks old and have taken care of him in every way. He loves to lay on the couch and watch me work. My puppy has a corneal ulcer that is infected and getting worse by the day. He is squinting so hard, I can’t get his eye drops in. The vet says his eye will continue to erode, cause pain, more infection and swelling. He will lose his eye regardless but it’s about whether the process will be quick with his Enucleation surgery or painful if it drags on. It breaks my heart to see him in pain. My puppy is my entire world. He has a silly sense of humor but he is mostly quiet and sweet. He just wants snuggles and loves children. He would never hurt anyone. His presence brings me so much joy and peace to watch him learn/play. I have no family and all of my friends are in different states. He helps with my depression and reminds me to take care of myself as I am in remission for Lymphoma. I want him to no longer feeling pain and play.I have a lot of medical debt due to cancer treatment.I work in mental healthcare and struggle to take care of my own health.I want him to be healthy and live long. I work two jobs already and just left my third due to burnout.

I got my dog from people who were clearly not treating her and her sister right. They were spending most of the day and night in a cage and clearly not getting the love or care they deserved. It was heartbreaking to to see how timid and unsure they were at first, like they were not used to kindness. It has only been a week but they already coming around. We were told the dogs were in good health and had no problems. That was quickly learned to be untrue. On the 2nd night of having them we saw Coco in what appeared to be a seizure. She had one every hour the 2nd night and about 3 the next day. managing her seizures means regular vet visits, possible emergency care and daily medication to keep her stable. We need to get an MRI and bloodwo Coco is attached to her sister Corky. They do not go anywhere without the other one. Watching them play together brings my family so much joy! Watching them come out of their shell and trust us is the most rewarding experiences. I currently live on Social Security and while I do my best to manage my expenses, the vet bills for this illness will be overwhelming for me. This is why the people were going to give them to a shelter which is horrible.

I tried to help by adopting her out to a coworker, but unfortunately, Adena ended up abandoned on the streets. I found her alone, hungry, and sickly near a dumpster Adena is pregnant and facing a rough upper respiratory infection that’s making it difficult for her to breathe. She hasn’t yet seen a veterinarian, and I’m raising funds to cover her upcoming medical care. Adena is incredibly affectionate, she loves cuddles, belly rubs, and kisses, and she’s always seeking attention and love from everyone she meets. Your support will help give Adena and her future kittens a healthy, happy start. I Rescued Pogo off the street 12 yrs ago. She was in bad shape....not fixed and looking for food anywhere she could. Her eyes told me everything! I scoped her up took her ho.e and gave her the home she deserved. Soon we added to our family and now it is hardcto keep up. I need help for pogo because I have 4 other dogs! I am trying todo my best! I need pogo to get her teeth cleaned and some pulled. I had taken her before to get them cleaned but it appears that Pogo has dental disease of some kind. Now she may require a little more care than normal for her teeth. Pogo is special because she was a rescue and is such a small bundle of joy. She loves to cuddle 💕! IShe gives my husband love which helps him with his PTSD nd my axiety. I recently applied for ssdi and am awaiting to get approved hopefully. My husband is a veteran and is trying to help but things are tight with expenses rising due to cost of living increases and 5 dogs to take care of. I make less now and can only work so many hours.

They are not as young and durable as they once were She is my special lap dog who goes everywhere and does everything with me. My wife is actually jealous of Mali and i relationship. She just came along and stole My heart She recently fell off the couch and slipped a disc so her hind legs are of no use to her and the surgeon is very costly. A friend of my breeds beagles. I'm blind and had a beagle but he passed away. So my friend gave Patsy to me. She is now almost 6 years old and has been my everything. I have a lot of medical issues including bladder cancer, and I have a pacemaker. Patsy has breast cancer and needs to be spayed and tumors removed. She is my best friend and comforter. We both need each other. I love her so much and can't bear the thought of losing her or seeing her go through any pain Patsy is all I have she is such a lovingdog. Gets along with all people and animals she is my service dog and goes with me everywhere. She has even stayed at the hospital with me when I've had surgeries. I'm 66 years old live on social security disability. I lost my sight 17 years ago due to a freak accident at work. When I get my check all it covers is my rent with about 40 dollars left I rely on my taxes every year to pay other bills. If I didn't have Patsy I would be lost

My fur baby's name is Buddy & he's a rescue. I've had him for 5 years now & can't imagine life w/o him! He had been abandoned, he was very emaciated, his fur all matted & could barely walk. Getting him healthy instantly became my top priority. I may have saved him, but he saved me as well! He's gotten me through some very tough times, & within 1 year's time this Little Mommy's Boy became my E.S.A Recently my poor baby has developed a cancerous anal gland tumor. I've only been back to work a couple months after a major/invasive level 1 back surgery. I'm in desperate need of assistance to help get this removed before the cancer spreads. Our vet (Pet Care Vet Hospital) is great & I've got complete faith in them. However; although I was pre-approved, Care Credit denied me in the end. He loves everyone he meets (doesn't know a stranger lol). He loves playing fetch & will put his fave toy right in my hand! He loves the snow & going for walks. He enjoys visiting his best (4 legged) friend Angus when at Grandma's house (while I'm working). I'll wake up to often find him sleeping on his back🥰. He loves going everywhere w/ me & comforting people he can tell need it! I'm recently back working after a disc removal, spinal fusion, bone graft & w/ 4 pins/ 4 rods in 1 single surgery. Last week poor Buddy got Gastroenteritis. B/n reg bills & After Hr Vet visit w/Meds. Need help w/ Cancerous anal gland removal cost, terrified of it spreading😥
