Zebel

Zebel is a 1 year old Pixie-bob in Houston , TX, who needs $2,000 for Blood Transfusion/Surgery.

Houston, TX

One rainy evening, I found a tiny Pixie-bob kitten curled up in the stairwell of my building. He was frail, trembling, and so small that he barely seemed real. When I offered him some food, he cautiously crept toward me. I couldn’t leave him there in the cold, so I took him home and named him Zebel. At the vet, I learned Zebel wasn’t just malnourished—he had severe anemia. The treatment is expens Zebel has anemia, a condition where his body isn’t producing enough healthy red blood cells to carry oxygen. This makes him weak, lethargic, and vulnerable to further health issues. Treating anemia can involve medication, supplements, and potentially costly procedures like blood transfusions, depending on its severity and cause. Zebel is calm, affectionate, and deeply trusting. He loves curling up beside me, following me from room to room, and gently nudging me with his head for attention. Despite his anemia, he tries his best to be playful, and his quiet purrs show how much he appreciates every bit of love and care. He’s patient and sweet, with a tender personality that makes him impossible not to adore. As a full-time college student, my financial situation is already stretched thin. Between tuition, textbooks, and basic living expenses like rent and groceries, I barely have room in my budget for unexpected costs. Zebel’s treatment is more than I can manage right now, even

Simba

Simba is a 13 year old Maine Coon in Holland, MI, who needs $2,000 for Possible Hyperthyroidism and Treatment.

Holland, MI

Simss story began about 13 years ago when I found him as a tiny kitten in a wet cardboard box in an abandoned house. From that moment on, he literally lived snuggled, inside my warm hoodie his entire kitten life even into his adult years. Ever since then, he has helped me emotionally survive some of the most difficult moments in my life. Lately, Sims has been drastically losing weight in a very short amount of time. The Vet I contacted recommended a physical, bloodwork panel, x-rays and treatment if needed. I feel extremely helpless because I can’t afford his veterinarian appointment to even start this process because I don’t have the funds. My serious physical health issues overwhelm my life and prevent me from working. Also two years ago, my older brother killed himself without warning. And since then, I have moments of deep sadness that spirals into a dark depression due to this profound loss. And Simba notices my tears falling and instantly comes to cuddle with me, almost as if to say, “I know your soul is deeply hurting and I’m here for you.” I am a liver transplant recipient and also suffer from late Stage kidney disease. I’ve had many surgeries in my abdomen over the years to save my life. These have taken a toll on my body and I'm unable to work at all. Simba means the world to me so I'm trying to save him.
