ACE

ACE is a 11 year old Border Collie in machesney park, IL, who needs $1,500 for Tumor Removal from Rectum Region.

machesney park, IL

Ace came to us from an adoption event. We were waiting because everyone was playing with the dogs. WE told the people we would like to see a male dog. It was love at 1st sight. Once they handed us ACE we knew he was the dog for us. Ace needs surgery to remove a tumor in the rectal area. There is occasionally blood coming out. His vet is Dogwood Pet Hospital in Rockford IL. We don't want to lose him. We need Ace. He interacts with everyone and shows lots of love. He behaves like a good dog and would not hurt anyone or anything. He is very important to my dad, who is a disabled veteran on a very fixed income. We have a very fixed income with no emergency funds or credit cards. It would mean the world for us to get Ace healthy again. my disabled dad needs to have Ace to talk to and play with. It would break our hearts if he passed.

Almendra

Almendra is a 4 month old Yorkshire Terrier in Thornton, CO, who needs $2,000 for FHO Surgery & Pelvis Fracture Surgery.

Thornton, CO

Almendra (Almond) came into our family a month and a half ago. One of our neighbors rescued her from a home where was not being taken care of properly. My dad immediately gravitated to her play-full personality and agreed to take her in. We introduced her to our 9-year-old Dachshund mix, Cici. Slowly but surely they began to enjoy each other's company. Almendra escaped from our backyard & was ran over. A neighbor informed us she was hiding under a van, shaking from the pain & fear. She dragged the back half of the body over to me. My heart sank to my stomach. With 4 fractures to her pelvis & 1 fracture to her right femur. A very kind & willing orthopedics doctor at Planned Pethood International has offered his services. Almendra is full of energy, love, and so much life left to live. Fetching is her passion! Regardless of her previous living situation she is not afraid to step out of her shell, gives unconditional love, & has learned to trust again. In such a small amount of time, and very unexpectedly, she brightens our lives. She loves to cuddle and fall asleep on our laps. Her entering our lives was unexpected. We want to give her the best quality of life. She will need 2 surgeries, medications, follow-up visits, time, and love to heal properly. Financially we were not prepared for any of this.

Samwise

Samwise is a 6 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback in Gilbert, AZ, who needs $2,000 for TPLO Surgery.

Gilbert, AZ

Sam is a 6 year old Rodehisian Ridgback/ Black Mouth Cur mix, we adopted him from a rescue shelter when he was a few months old and he has been attached to my hip since then. He has been diagnosed with a torn CCL, and is in need of TPLO surgery on his right, rear leg. We have gone to our normal vet and they provided some resources as to some facilities for the procedure. I have found one I'd really like to use; the VCA surgery specialist hospital. We have 2 other dogs and 3 cats that actually really love to play with Samwise. While he towers over everyone else, he is the sweetest dog I've come to know I am currently employed full time, and I plan to contribute to this surgery as well, but I just can't do it all on my own. I'm hoping the animal loving community can help me provide a great life for Sam for many years to come.

Kat

Kat is a 17 year old Mix-Breed in Lusby, MD, who needs $2,000 for Hospitalization for 48 Hours with Treatment.

Lusby, MD

I met Kat in 2013, and since then, she’s been my only companion. She’s fully indoor, as she has anxiety and won’t go outside. We share a quiet, loving home where she enjoys sunbathing and cuddling. I’m doing everything I can to care for her, but her stage 4 kidney failure treatment is more than I can afford. Kat just had her bloodwork and examination. Her teeth have got bad with some swelling in her gums, a heart murmur, ear infection and stage 4 kidney failure. The vet hospital is called Solomons Veterinarian medical center. My sweet cat, Kat, has been diagnosed with stage 4 kidney failure. She’s always been my loyal companion, full of love and warmth. I’ve already put her first bill on my credit card, but I’m struggling to afford her care. If you can help, anything is appreciated so I can give Kat the chance to live the best life she deserves. Thank you for your kindness. Kat’s stage 4 kidney failure treatment is beyond my financial means. I’ve maxed out my credit card and am struggling to keep up. Your support will give me hope for her recovery and the chance to see her healthy and happy again. Every bit helps—thank you.

Thor

Thor is a 2 year old Siberian Husky in Pomona Park , FL, who needs $500 for Diagnosis and Treatment.

Pomona Park, FL

We got Thor because of tragedy. I had his sister and she had parvo when I got her and I didn't know it we tried everything to save her but she was too far gone. I went to tell the people I got her from & I saw Thor and started crying. But when I got him he was almost 3 months old but he barely looked like a 1 mth old. I fattened him up and we've had him for 2 years now almost three he's my baby My husband got his shots from tractor supply. I told him I didn't want to do that because they may not work, he didn't listen & now I think he has distemper. I'm trying to get him into First Coast No More Homeless Animals (I think that's right) He is my ESA, but he's also my baby boy! My kids will be destroyed if something happened to Thor, so would I. He's such a happy guy, the goodest good boy ever, even though he doesn't listen most of the time. He's my boy & best friend. We moved & since we got here it's like our lives have just fallen apart. Anything that can go wrong is. My husband works himself to death just to feed everyone. I can't find a job close enough for me to get home to get my kids off the bus. We're just really struggling atm
