* Agape Love for Mutts * Astro was living in a home with multiple un fixed males. When one day they decided to tear into him. Astro is a submissive male dog who got destroyed in a dog fight by his house mates. He currently is fighting for his life at North Star Vets. His owner wanted to euthanize him as Astro was “too much” for him🥲. Astro’s life is now in our hands and we are doing everything we can to help. Right now we are looking at wounds, laserations, Stitches and a consult with a surgeon about his leg! He is currently in the vet hospital getting around the clock care! Astro is a loving 2 year old pitty. Despite his life so far he is full of wags and kisses! Astro’s life before hand we can only guess. But we will make sure his life is turned around for the better! We desperately need donations towards his vet care, so far it is 756 and climbing without the surgery consult or possible surgery. If you feel in your heart Astro is a worthy cause please donate to him! He deserves to live and have a happy life which we can provide him!
Buzz

Buzz is currently residing at one of our board members homes after being dumped by a "rescue" who had not given him vet care in over a year nor did they pay any kind of bills or supply any food/items needing for this dogs care. We finally got them to sign him over to us 3 months ago and now he is being diagnosed with mast cell most likely stage 3 or 4 because of neglegance on another rescue! Buzz is comfortable in the board members home surrounded by love, he is getting very clingy, and wanting to be with his people alot. He paws at us alot now which we aren't sure if that is him thanking us or telling us he is nearing the end:(. But we will be here with him every step of the way. Buzz is a joy to be around and also a vet favorite! What makes Buzz special? Well this dog has been through sooo much and he still comes out of it with a wagging tail, and so much love to give the world and everyone around him. He is a client favorite at our board member/trainers home and everyone has to say hi to our buzz! This dog does not have one mean bone in his body, all he wants is love and in return he has lots of love to give! He had no vetting prior to us due to the previous rescue not getting him any:(. So we did all his vetting (mind you he is 5 years old and his vaccinations were over a year out of date. After we got him we took him to a vet and they said his things were ocd, which is NOT true obviously now we understand it is most likely mast cell We are a small non profit in South Jersey who does not get any government grants, or funding. This dog we took in because we couldn't see him suffer anymore and now we are facing mast cell with our beautiful boy
Miracle
Miracle is a four-month-old Lab mix in West Creek, NJ, who needs $2,000 for emergency care.

With only two hours left to live, Agape Love for Mutts swept in and saved Miracle. The pup was picked up and brought to an animal control shelter in horrendous shape. She was missing hair, beaten up, emaciated, and shaking. Because of her condition, she was set to be euthanized. But when Agape heard about Miracle, they raced her to BluePearl Pet Hospital. "Miracle is currently in critical condition," Courtney C., with the rescue, tells Waggle. "Her numerous issues include being covered in countless parasites (ticks and mange), having an ulcer on her eye that requires surgical intervention, having hookworms, and being severely anemic. She flatlined her first night in hospital but was resuscitated." Despite her tough start in life, Miracle is resilient! She is loving, sweet, and docile. As weak as she is, she still tries to wag her tail at her rescuers. "Miracle is a fighter," Courtney says. "She was already in critical condition and on the verge of death when she was brought to the shelter. From there, she escaped death yet again when some guardian angels reached out to our rescue on her behalf. Miracle is fighting for her life and deserves the chance to show the world what a special personality she has and to finally experience love and life." Please help this nonprofit rescue fix up Miracle so she can be adopted someday!
Iris

Agape Love for Mutts Rescue was breathing a sigh of relief. In the nick of time, they rescued an adorable pregnant mama dog from the streets of San Antonio, Texas. "She luckily got the chance to have her babies in the care of a safe and loving foster home," says Courtney C. with the rescue. Just as they thought everything was going well, one of the puppies, Iris, started gasping for breath! "At the fragile age of one week old, little Iris suddenly had a massive decline in her health," Courtney tells Waggle. "She began foaming at the mouth and struggling to breathe, which terrified her foster mom. She was rushed to the emergency hospital at BluePearl Veterinary Partners, where she received lifesaving treatment for aspiration pneumonia." As Iris recovers, the rescue is now struggling to pay her unplanned medical bill. "We need help fundraising for her lifesaving treatment," Courtney says. "Her short life has brought so much joy to those around her, and her lucky spirit is infectious. We cherish the thought of her overcoming the odds stacked against her to recover from this illness and eventually find a loving family of her own."
