Ricky Martin and Bad Bunny
Ricky Martin & Bad Bunny: We Couldn’t Leave Them Behind
Merrillville, IN • Big Dogs Don't Cry
We received a call asking for help with food for two dogs. But when we heard about their condition, something stopped us in our tracks. We knew we couldn't simply drop off a bag of food and walk away. So we went to see them. What we found was heartbreaking. Ricky Martin and Bad Bunny were severely emaciated, their bodies showing just how long they had gone without the food and care they desperately needed. There are some things that are difficult to put into words, and their condition was one of them. Their bodies told a story of suffering they never should have had to endure. We couldn't leave them behind. We said YES, and Ricky Martin and Bad Bunny are now safe with Big Dogs Don't Cry. They are no longer alone, and for the first time, they have people fighting for them. But saying yes to these two dogs came with an immediate challenge: we have nowhere to put them. Our rescue is already full. We are stretched beyond what we ever imagined, and we don't have foster homes waiting for dogs in this condition. But we couldn't look at Ricky Martin and Bad Bunny and walk away simply because we didn't have the resources. They need food to help rebuild their strength, veterinary care to assess their condition and address the effects of severe malnutrition, medications and supplements if needed, and ongoing care as they begin the long road back to health. We are asking our village to stand beside us now. Every donation will help Big Dogs Don't Cry provide Ricky Martin and Bad Bunny with the food, veterinary care, and essential supplies they need as they recover. Your support will help us keep our promise to these two dogs—that saying yes to saving them means they will not have to face the next part of their journey alone. They have already been through more than any dog should. Now they are safe. Now they have a chance. Please help us give Ricky Martin and Bad Bunny the care they need to become healthy, happy dogs again. ❤️
