After two long weeks of working on getting a surrender from this dogs owner we were able to obtain custody through animal control. She is in temporary foster but is looking for a more permanent foster to help her heal and live out her senior years in comfort and peace. Blondie has now been to the vet - we need to raise $250 for her basic care, she needs prescription diet atleast temporarily that will cost roughly $100 a month, as well as a dental around $500 We took in this dog yesterday after she has been neglected by her previous owners for quite some time. We are working on her skin, nutrition, and basic care/comfort. We are a small rescue that is already overfull and very low on funds. However we could not deny this sweet soul in need. Please consider helping the underdogs.

Abandoned on the Side of the Road, Coonhound Puppies Need Help to Grow Big and Strong

Nine puppies, only 6 or 7 weeks old, were found abandoned on the side of a rural Kentucky road. Without their mom, they were terrified, alone, and struggling to survive. Cleo's Legacy didn't hesitate to take these puppies, knowing they would need expensive and time-consuming care. Among the nine, one little pup is struggling more than the others. This brave little soul is suffering from rickets, a painful condition caused by a lack of proper nutrition and sunlight. She needs special physical therapy and a tailored nutritional plan to help her grow strong and healthy. We cannot let her fight this battle alone. These little ones are full of energy, curiosity, and love. Each pup has their own unique personality, and they all deserve a chance at a happy, healthy life. They are currently in a temporary foster home, but they need urgent support for their medical care, vaccinations, food, and a safe place to grow. Every contribution, no matter how small, will help us give these puppies the chance they deserve for a happy, healthy life.

Cleos Legacy Inc Poor Draco, a sweet and innocent soul, has been through unimaginable suffering at the hands of his previous owner. Starvation and desperation led him to eat whatever he could find, resulting in a painful and life-threatening ordeal. The heartbreaking truth is that Draco was left to suffer with gaping wounds and an old pelvis break until a Good Samaritan came across and knew he needed immediate action. He needed immediate vet care but we soon learned his injuries were more than the eye could see. Poor Draco was originally hospitalized for wounds, then he was found to have old injuries causing him to be unable to pass stool on top of being emaciated. Our vet tried enemas to avoid surgery, but ultimately, surgery was the only route to save his life. Despite the torture Draco must have endured in his past, he is an extremely positive and happy dog–even at the vet! His will to live is strong and he is excited to eat, and be alive. We are a small dog rescue that was called about Draco's neglect. He is still in the vet hospital and we have a temporary foster arranged for when he is released. 🙏 As cases like this are becoming more and more prevelant, we will try to fight for justice on Draco's behalf. We are reminded of the cruel and inhumane treatment he endured. It is our hope to hold people responsible and accountable and that Draco receives the care and love he so desperately deserves. Mission Cleos Legacy is a foster-based rescue that pulls local in need shelter dogs or street dogs to provide medical care, food, housing, and training to prepare them to find a forever home.
