Help Pearl Jam- The Hound Who Can't Hear A Sound

Wappingers, NY • Crate Escape Rescue Inc.

Pearl Jam has endured a lifetime of pain, but today, her fight is more urgent than ever. Rescued in November by Crate Escape Rescue, she has undergone two major surgeries to relieve the pain from chronic, untreated ear infections that have tormented her for years. These infections left her mostly deaf and in constant agony, with calloused, swollen ears that caused her unimaginable suffering. Despite a successful TECA surgery to remove her infected ear canal, Pearl Jam has had complications recovering such as excessive bleeding, recurring fevers, and severe anemia. Her ears, once a source of unbearable pain, have been permanently damaged by years of infection. A single touch used to send her recoiling in agony—now, she flinches less, beginning to trust, beginning to heal. Her surgeries gave her hope for a pain-free future, but her recovery is far from over. Every donation, no matter the size, brings her closer to healing and the life she has always deserved. Pearl’s resilience is nothing short of extraordinary. Though she has faced endless challenges, she continues to fight, proving time and again that she deserves a second chance. At only four years old, her journey has not been easy, and neither has the financial burden of her care. Her medical expenses have already exceeded thousands for surgeries and ongoing emergency care. Please consider donating today to give Pearl Jam a fighting chance. Let’s stand together to give Pearl the life she deserves—one filled with love, comfort, and finally, freedom from pain.

Frank

Frank is a 2-year-old Pit Bull in Wappingers, NY, who needs $1,000 for Topical Therapy and Flushes for Burns and Imminicide Injections for Heartworm.

Wappingers, NY • Crate Escape Rescue Inc.

As of now Frank is residing in a rural high kill shelter in South Carolina. Unfortunately this is one of the largest and most populated shelters in the area. Prior to this past week we are unaware of Frank's living conditions. Frank has had minimal interactions with people as he is living in an overcrowded shelter. We assume Frank has never lived in a household. as he was found in such poor condition. We do not know much about Frank as he spends 24 hours a day in his shelter pen. He presents as a friendly dog but we will know much more once he enters his foster home. Frank was brought into the shelter with multiple burns all over his body. He reeked of burning flesh and what was left of his coat was covered in thick grease residue. What we know is about 75% of Frank's body is covered in burns, and he also suffers from heartworm. As a rescue we solely rely on donations to help pups like Frank. Although we were not looking for a medical case Frank had been sitting in the shelter for 6 days making it almost cruel to not step in and help with medical treatment.
