8-year-old Kevin came to us from our friends at Kittitas County Friends of Animals. While he had past asthma issues, it was his serious dental problems that caused him to live in pain and unable to eat. After 2 dental surgeries that were over $3500, Kevin's finally thriving at his new foster's home. He’s a purr-machine and an absolute love bug! His foster family includes adults and 2 teenage kids whom he gets along very well with. He's a social cat who thrives on attention and an available lap. Since his dental surgeries, Kevin has been gaining weight and becoming more confident and playful. He’s very affectionate and just wants to give and receive love. He also has a motor you can head across the room. And now that he's pain free after 2 extensive dental surgeries, Kevin is finally acting like the cat he was destined to become. While he's 8-years-old, he acts more like a kitten. Kevin stopped eating for several days; his amazing vet at Valley Vet shared that his teeth were some of the worst he’s seen. It was painful for him to eat and he lost several lbs. 2 surgeries, 10 extracted teeth, pain medication, and antibiotics later, Kevin is now thriving. However, he's scheduled to have his remaining teeth extracted next month. Due to Kevin's extensive dental surgeries and another one scheduled for next month, his vet bills are over $3500. As a new Central Washington animal rescue, we do not have the funds to pay for his vet bills. We are an all volunteer, 100% donation based 501(c)(3).

Rosco is a 1-year-old Mixed in Ellensburg, WA, who needs $1,900 for Wellness Exam, Dental Care, X-ray with Consults to Orthopedic Surgeon.

Rosco was found as a stray with scabs around his neck where he had been chained up. He was filthy and presume he never lived inside a home before. We believe he has dwarfism which has led to his back legs being deformed and his hips click when he walks. He's with a foster now and will be seen by our vet in the coming weeks for vaccines, neutering and a needed orthopedic consult. Rosco just arrived at his foster's home and is thus far doing much better. He will receive the love, compassion, training, confidence boosting and medical attention to thrive. His foster has other animals and so far is doing great around them and other humans. Rosco hasn't exhibited any aggressive behaviors or behavioral issues. His underbite and bow legged walk are enough to illicit a smile from anyone. This guy is all personality and would love to find his forever home. He has the sweetest disposition and despite his physical limitations, is as active as any young dog. Since Rosco has never had a real home before, he's loving life inside receiving belly rubs and playing with toys. Rosco will be treated at Valley Veterinary Hospital in Ellensburg, WA. We anticipate his care costing well over $2000. Aside from routine care, he'll receive any necessary medication, vaccines, dental cleaning, and we be neutered. The clicking in his hind legs/hip is a concern and he'll be referred to orthopedic surgeon. We want to ensure he has the best life possible. Rosco is our latest rescue and we don't have the financial means to cover all of medical expenses without needed support. We are a 100% donor supported non-profit.
