After Losing His Sibling, Maximo Needs Our Help
Edinburg, TX • Just A Girl Saving Dogs
Maximo was found on the streets with his mom and sibling, trying to survive without the safety and care every puppy deserves. After being rescued, both puppies became ill and tested positive for parvo, a highly contagious and often deadly virus that can be especially dangerous for young dogs. Sadly, Maximo's sibling did not survive. Maximo was also diagnosed with parvo and required immediate veterinary care. Thanks to the support of our veterinary team and foster network, he is now receiving the treatment and monitoring he needs while he continues on the road to recovery. Today, Maximo is safe in foster care, where he can focus on healing and finally experience the stability, comfort, and love that every puppy should know. While he still has a journey ahead of him, we are hopeful for his future and committed to giving him every opportunity to thrive. As with many medical emergencies, the cost of treatment has been significant. Parvo care often requires hospitalization, medications, diagnostics, and ongoing supportive treatment, all of which add up quickly. For a rescue organization, unexpected cases like Maximo's can place a tremendous strain on already limited resources. We never want finances to be the reason an animal doesn't receive the care they need. That's why we're asking for your help. Donations made on Maximo's behalf will go directly toward the cost of his medical treatment and recovery, allowing us to continue helping him and other animals who come to us in crisis. If you're able to contribute, no amount is too small. Every donation helps ease the burden of these medical expenses and makes it possible for us to continue saying "yes" to animals who need us most. Thank you for supporting Maximo and being part of his journey toward a healthier, happier future.
