Billy

Rescued from the streets of the Philippines, Baby Billy needs emergency amputation and wound care

Wayland, MA • Lets Save The Strays International LLC

Lets Save the Strays International Barely old enough to open her eyes, baby Billy has already endured more suffering than any living being should. She was a tiny, dinky little thing facing overwhelming odds: Discovered alone, with her head and paw tangled in wire – terrified as torrential rain poured around her. The compassionate bystander who found Billy knew that, without immediate intervention, she likely wouldn’t survive the impending, quickly rising floodwaters. Thankfully, they contacted Let’s Save the Strays International who quickly took her in, prepared to provide the urgent care she needed. After a thorough examination, it was clear that Billy’s injuries were severe. Her tiny foot couldn’t be saved, and she had to undergo an amputation to give her a fighting chance. Her neck wound was cleaned and is slowly healing, but Billy’s care requires constant attention. She needs around-the-clock bandage changes, feedings every 2-4 hours, and daily medications to manage her pain and aid in healing. Billy’s journey will be long, but Let’s Save the Strays is committed to giving her every chance at a long, happy, and healthy life. Now, she could use all the love and support to help her get there. Your donation can provide the essential care Billy needs to grow strong, heal, and thrive. Please consider contributing to her journey—every bit is incredibly appreciated and gets this special soul a step closer to the future she so deserves. Thank you for helping give Billy her second chance at life! ❤️

Maddie

Maddie is a 1 year old Mix-Breed in the Philippines who needs $1,000 for Cancer Treatment, Spay, and Vaccines.

Wayland, MA • Lets Save The Strays International LLC

Maddie, a stray dog in the Philippines, was found in the rain with her newborn puppies. Our TNVR project manager, under Let's Save The Strays International, built a shelter and provided care. Maddie has a transmissible venereal tumor (TVT) and needs help. We aim to improve her life and raise awareness about the importance of spaying and neutering to prevent suffering and overpopulation among stray We're working with local veterinarians to vaccinate, deworm, and treat her for fleas and ticks. Vincristine will be used for her transmissible venereal tumor (TVT), but first, we'll spay her to prevent more puppies. Your support can help us provide Maddie with the care she needs, to save her life. Maddie is special because, without you and Let's Save The Strays, she would be voiceless and suffer. In places like the Philippines, street dogs have no one, until now. She is special because we are fighting for her future against all odds and circumstances. She is special because there is no resource to help her but US. She would die otherwise, its that simple. Maddie is like many others on the streets of Cavite, Philippines. There are no resources, but there is a solution! Together, we can spay, neuter, vaccinate, and treat her cancer for a reasonable cost. If we don't act now, Maddie will worsen, get pregnant again, die? Update 8/21/24: Maddie has made much progress. She was once so afraid and aggressive but is now more trusting and happy. She finished nursing the puppies and all but 1 puppy are adopted. The next step in Maddie's journey is to get spayed and receive treatment (chemotherapy) for her TVT (transmissible venereal tumor). Maddie's progress is amazing, but she still has a long way to go and needs your help!
