Zach and Zoey
15 Years Together. Now They Need Us. Help Zach and Zoey!
Whitsett, NC • Little Blue Tattoos
Zach and Zoey have spent 15 years side by side. These two precious Shih Tzu seniors have been best friends their entire lives. They are sweet, gentle, loving, calm, and content simply being together. After 15 years of sharing their lives, they deserve nothing more than a soft place to rest, plenty of love, and the chance to spend their remaining years together in comfort. Sadly, Zach and Zoey were surrendered to rescue simply because they had grown old and their care had become inconvenient. Now, Little Blue Tattoos is determined to make sure getting older doesn't mean being forgotten. Both dogs arrived needing significant medical attention. They were diagnosed with heart murmurs, luxating patellas, kennel cough, and severe dental disease requiring extensive dental care and extractions. Little Blue Tattoos has already spent $904 on their veterinary and dental care, helping address the serious health issues these two seniors were facing when they entered rescue. Those unexpected medical expenses are a significant financial burden for a small rescue, especially when caring for two senior dogs at the same time. Despite everything they are facing, Zach and Zoey have each other. They remain sweet, loving companions who deserve to be comfortable, healthy, and cared for during their senior years. Your donation will help Little Blue Tattoos offset the cost of the veterinary and dental care Zach and Zoey have already received and continue providing the care they need as they recover. They have spent 15 years together. Now, they just need someone to help make sure they can spend the rest of their lives together, too. Every donation, no matter the amount, helps give Zach and Zoey the comfortable and loving retirement they deserve. Thank you for helping Little Blue Tattoos care for these two best friends and reminding them that they were not forgotten just because they grew old.

Lady Bug
Help Little Lady Bug Enjoy Her Golden Years
Whitsett, NC • Little Blue Tattoos
At 12 years old, Lady Bug should be spending her senior years surrounded by comfort, peace, and loving companionship. This sweet senior came to Little Blue Tattoos after her owner could no longer care for her due to failing health. Now, she is safe in rescue and enjoying the simple things she loves most—cozy beds, quiet companionship, and plenty of naps. But Lady Bug has some medical needs that require ongoing care. She has an enlarged heart that is pressing on her trachea, causing a persistent cough, as well as a lesion inside her eyelid. Thankfully, her conditions can be managed with daily medication, allowing Lady Bug to remain comfortable and enjoy her best life. Her current medical expenses include her medications, an IDEXX senior profile, and an X-ray, totaling $570. Your donation will help Little Blue Tattoos cover these essential medical expenses and continue providing Lady Bug with the care she needs to stay comfortable and healthy. At this stage of her life, Lady Bug doesn't need much—just a safe place to rest, the medical care she depends on, and someone to appreciate the sweet senior she is. Every donation helps give Lady Bug more comfortable days filled with cozy naps, quiet companionship, and the love she deserves.

Haylee
Help Haylee Heal After a Lifetime of Dental Neglect
Whitsett, NC • Little Blue Tattoos
Haylee was pulled from a local shelter just hours before her deadline. Thanks to Little Blue Tattoos, she was given the second chance she so desperately needed. What veterinarians discovered was heartbreaking. Years of severe dental neglect had left Haylee with multiple oronasal fistulas and a lower jaw that had essentially deteriorated from chronic infection. During her surgery, her heart rate dropped dangerously low, and for a time, it wasn't clear if she would make it through. Thankfully, Haylee pulled through. Because of her unstable condition during surgery, her veterinary team was unable to repair the tiny fistulas connecting her mouth and nasal cavity. They also confirmed that her lower jaw is broken in several places and has become so weakened by infection that it is often described as a "rubber jaw." There was some good news. Haylee's bloodwork looked good, and she was successfully spayed. Just as everyone began hoping she could start the next chapter of her life, Haylee faced another setback. She began vomiting blood. Due to the complications she experienced under anesthesia, her veterinarians could not safely perform additional diagnostic procedures such as an endoscopy. Instead, she is now being treated with medication for a suspected stomach ulcer or gastrointestinal bleed, along with another course of antibiotics to help manage the ongoing infection caused by her oronasal fistulas. Haylee will require a liquid diet for the rest of her life, along with continued veterinary care, medications, pain management, and frequent monitoring. Despite everything she has endured, Haylee remains a bright little ray of sunshine. She loves attention, has a feisty personality, and refuses to let her medical challenges define her. Your donation will help provide the ongoing veterinary care, medications, and specialized treatment Haylee needs to stay comfortable and continue enjoying the second chance she was given. After everything she's been through, Haylee deserves a future filled with comfort, love, and compassionate care. Thank you for helping Little Blue Tattoos give her that chance. 8/12/26 Update: Haylee's Happy Ending We have wonderful news to share about Haylee—she has been adopted! After everything she has been through, Haylee now has a loving forever family to call her own. Seeing her begin this new chapter is the happy ending everyone who supported her was hoping for. Little Blue Tattoos is incredibly grateful to everyone who donated to Haylee's campaign and helped provide the care she needed along the way. Your generosity made a difference in her journey and helped give her the opportunity to reach this moment. Thank you for standing behind Haylee and supporting her along the way. We are so happy to see this sweet girl heading home! ❤️
