Spicey came from a dingy cellar and was used for breeding in Perth Amboy NJ. She was no longer wanted by her breeder and was listed on craigs list. the rescue stepped up and got her. Set up vet appointments, got her up to date on shots and spayed. She is ready to find her forever home and is up for adoption. Spicy is a good girl, gets along with other dogs, is a tiny girl at about 5 lbs. She loves sleeping in bed wit her people and loves to put her paw in your face and loves putting her face in your face. she doesnt kiss you put stick her face there for you to kiss her. She is a wonderful sweet girl that deserves a forever home. Spicy when she gets scared she may nip, this is why she has not been adopted yet. But in her foster house she is very very comfortable. All she really needs is a chance to get to know her, Dogs like Spicy need 3 months to decompress and unfortunately many adopters do not want to take on a small little one that may nip in the beginning. Spicy loves her food, unfortunately a new foster dog came into the household. Another small Yorkie only 10 lbs, but this Yorkie had bad teeth. The Yorkie bit Spicy and it became infected, and she almost went septic in less that 24 hours. Rushed her to the vet, had a blood transfusion, and vets felt best to amputate her leg. Her Bill is over 10,000.00 at this point. We are a rescue and go above and beyond for all our dogs, but as you can imagine a 10,000.00 bill sure does set us back. Any little bit helps get us out of the red.
