Charley and his 3 siblings and mother traveled up to One Love Animal Rescue in New Jersey arrving from Texas on June 12, 2021. Three out of four of the puppies have died after being admitted to urgent care. We are proactively bringing Charley into urgent care to get him evaluated and treated if necessary. Our medical bills with the other three pups exceeds $12,000. Please help us with Charley! Charley is a sweet but shy puppy that was surrended to animal control in Texas with his two brothers and sister and mother. He was brought into our rescue to ensure he got the medical treatment and care he needed before he could be adopted out to a forever family. One Love pulls dogs and cats of all breeds, ages and medical conditions. We are a 501C3 non-profit that relies entirely on donations for our funding. We take animals of all breeds, ages and medical conditions. Because of this, we are often facing huge veterinary bills. Charley's siblings treatment exceeded $12,000. Charley's 3 siblings died of a congenital heart defect with a possible underlying longseated fungal/parasitic or other infection complicting it. Unfortunately, they passed away so quickly while under emergency care that a final diagnositic assessment was unable to be completed. Although Charley is not currently exhibiting any of the symptoms of his siblings, we want to be proactive. Charley is a sweet little guy that had a rough start in life. He was neglected, skinny, full of worms and unsocialized. He was put into foster with one of his siblings to be able to adjust to living in a house with a loving family before he would be adopted out to his forever family. Unfortunately, his three siblings have already passed and he is the only survivor at this point.
