Aiden was found as a stray on the side of the road in Kentucky. Weighing half of what he should and covered in fleas, Aiden was taken to a shelter that was unable to provide him the care he needed. Luckily, a volunteer saw Aiden, knew he needed more help than the current shelter was able to provide, and couldn't leave him behind. Paws Across Pittsburgh stepped in and was able to find Aiden a foster. They quickly realized Aiden was extremely sick. He was lethargic, had bad skin from the fleas, and a cough and congestion. Despite being emaciated, he felt so poorly he would not eat. He was taken to the vet where he had x-rays taken and received fluids, antibiotics, and a special antimicrobial shampoo. Aiden is so sick he requires weekly visits to the vet to ensure his condition is improving. Paws Across Pittsburgh is determined to make sure Aiden gets better and is given the chance to live the life he deserves. Please consider donating and helping Aiden on his long journey to recovery!
