Uno
Uno Was Abandoned and Injured. Now She Needs Our Help

When Uno was picked up in Cleveland, Texas, it appeared that she had likely been dumped. She was finally safe and on her way to a foster home, but it quickly became clear that she needed more help than anyone initially realized. As soon as her foster brought her home, they noticed that Uno was limping. She was taken for X-rays, and the results revealed that Uno has multiple fractures. We are still waiting for the full X-ray results so her veterinary team can determine exactly what needs to be done and begin getting estimates for the surgeries and care she will need. Unfortunately, her fractures are not the only medical concerns Uno is facing. She also has a mass on her leg that needs to be surgically removed and biopsied. She is also heartworm positive and will need to be spayed once she is able to undergo the necessary procedures. There are still many unknowns about Uno’s injuries and what her treatment will ultimately involve, but one thing is certain: she needs veterinary care, and Pip’s Rescue Pack is committed to getting her the help she needs. Your donation will help cover Uno’s X-rays, surgery, mass removal and biopsy, heartworm treatment, spay, and other veterinary care associated with her recovery. Uno was found alone and likely abandoned, but she is no longer facing everything on her own. Gordo’s Adventures Are Over. He Needs Help Finding Stability.

For years, Gordo was known as the neighborhood escape artist. This big, lovable guy would regularly find his way out of his yard, and each time someone found him, his owner wanted him back. When Gordo was found again this year, a longer conversation finally led to a decision that changed his life: his owner finally agreed to surrender him to PiP’s Rescue Pack. At around 8½ years old, Gordo should be settling into his golden years surrounded by comfort and care. Instead, we’ve discovered that he has some catching up to do. Gordo is heartworm positive, and he’s now beginning treatment. We also discovered a large mass on his upper back/neck that needs to be surgically removed and sent for histology to determine whether it’s cancerous. His neuter, vaccines, and microchip have already been taken care of, but these unexpected medical needs have brought his expenses to approximately $1,300. Pip’s Rescue Pack is committed to getting him all the care he needs and no matter the cost they will get it done.
