Belle and Her Kittens: A Family Rescued Just in Time

Belle’s story began with a situation that quickly became urgent. Belle is a sweet community cat who recently gave birth to a litter of kittens that were being offered away far too young, at just 4 weeks old. After seeing a public post, Refuge Kitty Kat Rescue stepped in to help and was able to bring Belle and two of her kittens safely into rescue care. Just days later, another emergency unfolded. One of the kittens who had already been given away before the rescue became involved, little Lumière, was returned in critical condition and completely unresponsive. She was rushed to emergency veterinary care, where she was thankfully stabilized and saved in time. After fighting for her life, Lumière was finally reunited with her mother and siblings, and the entire little family is now safe together in rescue care. Today, Belle and her kittens are thriving. The kittens are growing quickly, full of curiosity and personality, while Belle finally has the chance to care for her babies in a safe, loving environment. This campaign will help cover veterinary care, vaccinations, spay and neuter procedures, food, supplies, and the ongoing support this family needs as the kittens continue to grow. Refuge Kitty Kat Rescue stepped in when this family needed help most, but continued care comes at a significant cost.
