Rescue Garage Rescue Garage’s main focus is to pull animals from area shelters and rescues that have animals on the euthanasia list that we take in and get adopted out to good families. Usually, these are animals that have medical needs or been there too long or various other situations. These animals usually have larger expenses and with veterinary expenses increasing all the time we have a significant amount of medical expenses on an ongoing basis. However, we also have a Forever Foster / Fospice program that is near and dear to us. Typically, these dogs require ongoing supportive care, that may include more frequent vet visits, medications and may have other special needs. They often have need for a unique caregiver and comfortable space to live out the remainder of their lives. Mission The mission of Rescue Garage is to rescue, rehabilitate, retrain and rehome vulnerable and at risk dogs and provide educational tools and support, community outreach programs, and advocate on behalf of stable pet ownership and animal welfare issues.
