Emma and her siblings were found in a trash bag by a dumpster at only three weeks old. Their finders reached out for help with them when they saw that poor Emma's back leg did not work. Luckily her leg is not causing pain, so we can wait until shes a little bit bigger to have her leg amputated. She has a long road ahead of her, but shes a very strong and loud girl! Emma is a very sweet little girl. She has settled in and not only found friends with her siblings, but with another little foster named Bean. Emma is also not afraid to yell at you to tell you how tough her life is if she is not in your lap all day! She is a total lap baby and will sit there all day if you'd let her. Emma also loves to run around and get into trouble with her siblings. I foster a lot of little neonate babies and special need babies. Getting help to pay for her medical needs would be so helpful so I can continue saving more babies. Due to covid funds have been very short. Sweet Emmas leg is non functioning. X-rays show that there is no break in her leg so we are not sure what happened to her. We were hoping to save the leg, but it still is just not working. Emma is under the care of Cornerstone Vet in Winter Springs, FL at the moment. They have been great with willing to work with such a tiny baby. Emma is such a sweet and smart baby! She is very vocal to let you know when you are not paying attention to you. She will follow you around hoping on three legs until you pick her up and pay attention to you. When she is left alone she is not a happy camper. She has made good friends with another foster baby who is the lone survivor from his litter.
