Comet was found in Philadelphia in December 2022 as part of liter of 4 identical tabby boys. He was the only kitten that had a head tilt. A trip to the vet where a CGT scan was performed with no indication of polyps. All litter mates (who were named after Santa's reindeer were adopted except Comet. Comet loves to play with others cats and kittens and enjoys the company of a large dog who Comet is obsessed with. He loves to snuggle with him, likes toy tunnels and catnip toys. Comet is a striking cat of beautiful stripes, wide eyes and the cutest ears one has ever seen. Comet is now looking for his furever home! Comet is a special cat who has endured many visits to the Veterinarian to help determine the cause of his head tile. Comet doesn't seem bothered by it at all and carries on with daily activities and just loving life. Comet has a great disposition and outlook and enjoys humans and furballs just the same. Comet presented with a head tilt and has been plagued by upper respiratory infections. He has been treated with doxycycline and famciclovir and further consult for a suspected polyp. After CT/MRI's it was determined to be idiopathic/congenital. A scope/retroflex of the nasopharynx is recommended. If stenosis is identified it can sometimes be treated by ballooning. Comet's case was one that needed medical attention due to his head tilt. This case took on many tests, CT, MRT and medications to be able to determine the best course of action.
