Jax
Help Jax Leave His Past Behind Him
Carlsbad, CA • Super B Foundation
Jax was hours away from losing his life in one of the most overcrowded shelters in the country. This handsome shepherd was living on the streets of Los Angeles before he ended up at Carson Animal Care Center. With his time running out, Super B Foundation stepped in and rescued him on the very day he was scheduled to be euthanized. Although shelter staff estimated Jax was 3–4 years old, his trainer believes he’s much younger—only about 18 to 24 months old. He’s still a puppy at heart, but life has already taught him to survive instead of trust. Today, Jax is safe in a loving foster home, where he’s finally experiencing stability and kindness. But the emotional scars from his past are standing in the way of being adopted. Jax struggles with leash reactivity and anxiety. His fear and uncertainty can cause him to become overstimulated on walks, and his anxiety sometimes leads him to try to jump fences or escape stressful situations. These behaviors aren’t signs of a “bad dog”—they’re signs of a dog who has never been given the chance to feel safe. Professional behavioral training is the key to helping Jax move forward. With the right guidance, structure, and positive reinforcement, he can learn to manage his anxiety, build confidence, and become the wonderful companion everyone knows he can be. The rescue has already spent $750 on his training and he has already come so far. Your donation will help cover the cost of the specialized training Jax needs to overcome the trauma of his past. Every contribution brings him closer to becoming the happy, confident dog he was always meant to be—and gives him the best chance at finding his forever family.

Benny
Help Benny’s Broken Leg
Carlsbad, CA • Super B Foundation
Benny is only four months old, but he’s already endured more pain than any puppy ever should. This sweet little boy arrived at an overcrowded California shelter over 4th of July weekend as a stray with a badly broken leg. Alone, frightened, and injured, Benny faced an uncertain future in a shelter where resources are stretched thin and time is never on a vulnerable puppy’s side. Thankfully, Super B Foundation stepped in before it was too late and Benny was immediately evaluated by a veterinarian. For the next three weeks, Benny must remain as still as possible in a cast—a nearly impossible task for a playful, growing puppy. After that, he’ll return for repeat X-rays to see if the bone is healing correctly. Every two weeks he needs to have his bandages redone and be checked for pressure sores - costing the rescue $600 each visit. If his leg isn’t improving, amputation may be his only option. No matter what the next X-rays reveal, Benny’s journey isn’t over. He will need ongoing veterinary care, follow-up appointments, pain management, and careful monitoring until his leg has fully healed and he’s finally able to run and play like every puppy deserves. Your donation will help cover Benny’s exams, X-rays, medications, cast care, and any surgery he may need if his leg doesn’t heal properly. After everything he’s been through, Benny needs a community willing to stand beside him. Please help Benny heal so this brave little puppy can leave his painful past behind and look forward to a future filled with long walks, squeaky toys, and a loving family. Every gift, no matter the size, brings him one step closer to a full recovery.

Theodora
A Second Chance Is Only the Beginning
Carlsbad, CA • Super B Foundation
Theodora was only hours away from being euthanized. She entered the county shelter alongside her sister, Cece, and the two young dogs faced the same heartbreaking fate. Before their time ran out, Super B Foundation stepped in and saved both sisters, giving them the second chance they deserved. Now, Theodora's future depends on receiving the medical care she needs. While her sister is recovering from wounds and kennel cough, Theodora is waiting for her own chance to start over. Because she arrived at the shelter with swollen mammary glands, there is concern that she may be pregnant. Thankfully, her spay surgery has already been scheduled, but first, her veterinary team must confirm that she isn't expecting puppies. If she is not pregnant, this surgery will prevent future litters and allow her to begin her new life healthy and safe. Rescuers are also watching her closely for signs of kennel cough after being housed with Cece in the shelter. If she becomes sick, her surgery may have to be postponed, delaying the fresh start she's waited so long for. Look at the videos of her at the shelter and her ride of freedom with her sister. Theodora has already escaped one tragedy. Now we want to make sure nothing stands in the way of her future.

Cece
Cece Escaped the Euthanasia List, but Her Fight Isn’t Over
Carlsbad, CA • Super B Foundation
This sweet 2-year-old Terrier mix was on the euthanasia list alongside her sister, Theodora. After surviving life as a stray, Cece and her sister were only hours away from losing their lives in an overcrowded high-kill shelter in southern California. Super B Foundation refused to let Cece and her sister become another heartbreaking statistic, pulling them to safety just in time. But while Cece escaped euthanasia, her fight is far from over. When Cece arrived in rescue, the extent of her injuries became clear. She had scabbed-over wounds across her neck and the top of her head, likely from an older dog attack. She already had a painful infection on the right side of her face that required immediate medical treatment, cleaning, and medication. At the shelter, Cece developed kennel cough and is now battling a persistent upper respiratory infection. On top of everything else, there is concern that Cece—and possibly her sister—may be pregnant. While Theodora is scheduled to be spayed, Cece must first recover from her illness before she can safely undergo surgery. After everything she has survived, Cece deserves the chance to start her journey on the road to recovery. Your donation will help provide: Veterinary exams to diagnose her head and ear wounds Treatment for kennel cough and her respiratory infection Diagnostic testing and pregnancy evaluation Her spay surgery once she is healthy enough Follow-up veterinary care if needed so she can continue healing Because Super B Foundation said yes, Cece was given a second chance at life. Now she needs our help to make that second chance count. If you watch the videos, you'll witness two completely different moments in Cece's life: one where she is facing euthanasia, and another where Super B Foundation gives her the second chance she almost never had.
