Waggle Success Story: Meet Lulu
Waggle and GreaterGood.org stepped in to make sure that Lulu's campaign made its funding goal.
Terrier/poodle mix Lulu was struggling with the pain and complications of stage four dental disease, likely stemming from her uncertain past. With many loose teeth and her condition growing worse by the day, cost estimates to repair her dental issues totaled nearly $1,500. Lulu's family turned to Waggle to help their sweet girl get well again.
Lulu’s Waggle campaign was fully funded by 28 donors, with matching contributions from Greater Good Charities.
“The fact that we can now breathe a little easier knowing that Lulu will be around for a lot longer, thanks to her upcoming medical procedure, is so gratifying," says Lulu’s owner, Darka Dusty Stebiwka. "Here’s to you, dear donors; here’s to your selflessness, your charitable spirit, your knowledge that every creature who makes the world a better place deserves to be happy.”
