I adopted my foster dog, Snuffy, in August 2022. I had been fostering him for Muttville since May 2022. Snuffy was adopted twice and returned twice. Both of his eyes were surgically removed at Muttville on May 18th, the day I took him to my home. He also had a chronic ear infection, which has never gone away despite meds. The only long-lasting solution is to remove his entire ear canal. Snuffy lives with me and my other "kids", Mia (la corgita), Hot Potato (MV alum), and Myra and Lyra (indoor cats with cerebellar hypoplasia). We go to the dog park every day and on longer walks on weekends. He loves people and gets along well with all the dogs at the dog park. No problems whatsoever. Aside from being cute as a button, Snuffy is the sweetest and most easy-going little boy. He eats the food he's fed. He roams the dog park, cautiously but bravely. He's no pushover and can stick up for himself. He knows how to ask for what he wants. Everyone can't help but love him and think he's wonderful. Snuffy is the ultimate cuddlebug! I love him! Snuffy had both eyes removed. He is deaf on his left side and is probably deaf on his right. He also has bad arthritis. I live with 3 senior dogs, and I am still paying for medical treatment for my great lost loves Schatzie (RIP 5/18/2021) and Uncle Brunch (RIP 2/8/2022). I don't regret doing everything I could to save their lives. My "kids" deserve the best food and the best medical care.
