Mia

Mia is a 8 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in LOXAHATCHEE, FL, who needs $10,000 for Mass Removal and/or Cancer Treatment.

LOXAHATCHEE, FL

My family was blessed to have Mia come into our life 8 years ago. We rescued her from a dog fighting ring when she was 11/2 years old. She chose us from the second we came into contact. I am a disabled veteran and she immediately bonded with me as a support anchor. She is a pivotal part of my well-being. Mia has recently been diagnosed with a mass around her esophagus applying pressure against her trachea causing her to have difficulty breathing and eating. She has started a regiment of antibiotics and steroids in hope the swelling will be decreased. However surgery to have the mass removed is inevitable. Mia is a very important part of our entire family. She is a loving mother and the perfect companion as a emotional support dog for myself. She shows and expresses unconditional love towards the entire family at all times and is always able to bring joy and comfort to us all. I am a 100% service connected veteran and have a fixed income. The price I was given just to have a CT scan done is $5300. Pathology is another $1400. Mia is as important to me as if she is one of my children and is a absolute necessity towards my stability with my battles.

Oliver

Oliver is a 8 year old Yorkshire Terrier in Riviera Beach , FL, who needs $7,500 for CT and Possible Tumor Removal.

Riviera Beach, FL

Oliver, aka “Ollie Pop, Buddy Buddy, Triple Stinky”, is an 8 y.o. Yorkie that I gifted my wife for Christmas 8 years ago. He was the runt of his litter, and has always been very quiet and mild mannered. He loves to play, and is often the center of the children’s attention at our family gatherings. He’s also very appreciative of cuddle time with his mom, every night. Just bring the cookies! We took Ollie to Advanced Critical Care, Emergency and Specialty Services on May 14th, 2026, after spotting a tinge of blood in his urine. We learned that Oliver had a tumor on his bladder as well as an enlarged prostate. He’s always appeared to be pretty healthy so this diagnosis was an incredible shock to us. Oliver is beloved by our entire family, including my wife, three daughters and two grandchildren. He’s even won over my mother in-law, who typically stays away from dogs. Everyone has their own nickname for Oliver and we all share cuddle time. He’s just very accepting of love. He’ll let you play with his toy as long as you’d like, and he brings them all out one at a time, so you have a choice. We typically carry pet insurance, however, with the increased cost of living we were faced with some tough choices. We tried to buy ourselves some time as Ollie has always appeared to be healthy. We only feed him Royal Canine food, for his breed, and the occasional cookie.

Kato

Kato is a 18 Month Old Mix-Breed in Coral Springs, FL, Who Needs $2,000 for Ventilation, Air/Fluid Removal, Hernia Surgery.

Coral Springs, FL

We got Kato & his brother Melo when they were 13 weeks old from one of my daughter friends. Her dad's rottwieler got his girlfriend's cane corso "accidently" pregnant & they could not afford to take care of them. Kato lives with me & my 3 kids. He's my "go everywhere" buddy. If he isn't sleeping with me, then he's cuddled up with one of the kids or just makes the rounds and sleeps with us all. On a normal walk with both Kato and Melo, something caught both of the dogs noses or eyesight, ripped the leashes right out of our hands and took off towards the street. We screamed, Melo stopped, but Kato ran in front of a pick up truck. The driver slammed on the breaks, but still made impact. He has a ruptured lung, which is leaking air into his chest, internal bleeding and a herniated diaphragm Kato has always been a curious little adventurer. He loves to run and play, which is funny to watch because he prances and jumps kind of like a deer. When he's not bringing you his favorite pink squishy ball is right at your feet or cuddled up next to you on the bed or couch. I call him my distinguished gentlemen because he is always at attention with such a poised demeanor. A truly handsome guy! Kato is the cornerstone of our household. Just exercising with him has brought my stress levels down and when my kids are emotional from the trials and tribulations of being teenagers, he is right there through all the emotions with that unconditional love and presence.

Jewels

Jewels is a 1 year old Mix-Breed in Hollywood, FL, who needs $2,000 for Blood Transfusion for Severe Anemia and UTI.

Hollywood, FL

Hello everyone! I got Jewels back in October 2024. My mechanic had a litter and I asked him for one. I have never been so happy for my baby. I named her Jewels as she is one my J's (all of my children's names starts with J). I have two daughters, 34 & 18. My son is 31; he's in the middle. My youngest is in the Navy. My eldest gave me my first and only grandbaby so far but they live upstate. My Jewels has been very lethargic and not behaving like her playful self. She's always been a picky eater but I noticed that she was eating less than usual. Yesterday morning I noticed that she stayed on top of the canopy all day and never used the litter. Took her to the Vet to and was told that she is severely anemic and need a blood transfusion. I attached a copy of labs in her as a picture. Jewels is so sweet. She's a bit skiddish when not familiar with a person or environment. When it's famikiar, can't help but to love her. She has a favorite toy that I call Wolfman. He was a part of my teddy bear collection but she took into him & is now her fave. I miss her running around the house and playing fight with me. I have never seen a cat play fetch until my Jewels, my first cat. I'm back to school (blended)full-time for my first degree at 53; also work full time (remotely). Any extra time for my side job is taken up, hence the additionalincome. Applied with Care Credit was denied. Jewels has to have the transfusion ASAP as her oxygen levels are low.

West Palm Beach, FL

Luna came into my life as a rescue 9 years ago. I knew she was the one the moment I saw her kitten photo—she looked just like Toothless the dragon. Her bright, moonlit eyes inspired her name. She’s my one and only, the light of my life, and my constant companion through everything. I can’t imagine life without her. My cat Luna may have ingested lily pollen and needs urgent vet care to survive. I’ve been out of work for 2 months and can’t afford treatment. Luna is my world, and I’m doing everything I can to save her. Please help if you can—every donation or share means the world. Thank you so much. 💔🐾 Luna is incredibly sweet, playful, and deeply intuitive. She knows when I’m sad and always curls up beside me, purring softly. She chirps instead of meows, loves sunbeams, and goes wild for her crinkly toy mouse. She’s not just a cat—she’s my best friend, my emotional anchor, and the heart of my home. I lost my job two months ago and have no emergency funds left. Luna’s sudden illness hit during an already hard time. I’m doing everything I can, but I can’t afford her treatment alone. Getting her healthy again would mean the world—she’s all I have, and I can’t imagine losi

Bailey

Bailey is a 6 month old Dachshund in Palm Bay, FL, who needs $2,000 for Orthopedic Surgery.

Palm Bay, FL

Meet Bailey. At just 8 weeks old, this tiny bundle of fluff bounded into my life, a whirlwind of puppy kisses and playful nips. Her coat, a swirl of creamy caramel and soft brown, was so reminiscent of Bailey's Irish Cream, it was the perfect name. From that moment on, she was my Bailey, my sweet, irreplaceable companion...my cutie petutie! Our sweet Bailey, now six months old, is a dachshund bursting with puppy energy and a mischievous spirit. Sadly, her adventurous nature led to a devastating accident. In a moment of youthful exuberance, she slipped out the door and was tragically struck by a neighbor's truck. The impact was severe, causing multiple fractures to her right pelvis and leg and one break in her left leg. Bailey has become a special part of our family - my sons and my daughter and my four grandchildren who love and adore her and just love babysitting her just to have her around. She gives you those puppy eyes and it just melts your heart and you just have to put her in your lap and hug and kiss her and she loves to give kisses and just snuggle up into your neck. She is adored by all who sees her. This is a sudden major expense on my fixed income as an retiree. All the help and support and prayers that can be given are greatly appreciated so that my Bailey can come home with a quality of life.

Espresso is a 1 year old Chihuahua in Lake Worth, FL, who needs $2,000 for MRI Interpretation.

Lake Worth, FL

Espresso, my beautiful 1 year old pup, is going through something that 4 different vets cannot solve. She has been in chronic pain since 6 months old. From allergy medications, to expressing anal glands each month, pain medications, X-ray’s, bloodwork & more… The most recent specialty vet recommended an MRI. I’ve searched high and low for a decent price. It is consistently between $5000 and $6000 Looking into my pup’s issue that 4 different vets have been unable to diagnose has been absolutely terrifying. She is a special pup that is in a strange chronic pain on a daily basis, I really don’t want to lose her. An MRI is what seems to be the consistent recommendation She is a sweet, innocent pup that I truly feel I need to do whatever it is to help her. It is just not normal for this to be happening to such a young dog. She loves every single person that she meets. She loves so hard. We’ll have our life back if she’s healthy again. Our home will be a home again if we can figure out what’s going on with my beautiful baby girl!!!!!!!

Apollo is a rescue dog. He has lived with us since he was two months old and has been an special and important member of our family. Apollo is intelligent and adorable dog, above all he really wants to keep living. Apollo was diagnosed with CHYLOTHORAX, a rare and serious condition that causes fluid to build up in the chest, making it difficult for him to breathe. He needed a Pericardectomy and Duct Ligation surgery which cost $13,000. Please, I ask you from my heart to help my baby with financial support so that he can continue living and sharing moments with me. Apollo is a very happy dog, he loves to play with soda bottles hahaha, he is very funny. He loves taking care of me and my parents. He is very intelligent, you can talk to him and he understands. Sometimes I tell him to find me a specific thing and he understands and looks for it, he is amazing and special. Currently the cost of this surgery to save Apollo's life is extremely expensive ($13.000) and it is difficult for me to pay for it since this was totally unexpected for me and I do not have the money.

Boca Raton, FL

Vegas came into our life in 2018 as we wanted another dog to keep our Frankie company since I worked from home. He was the wild but sweet addition we needed. My boyfriend is from Las Vegas so naturally we wanted to name a dog after his home town. Boy did it suit him well. Wild and crazy just always a good time:) Vegas has always had breathing issues. We had his soft pallet removed in 2020 and that helped him for about 3 days. We knew we would have to do more but we didn't know what. After consulting with surgeons because he was getting worse, we discovered that he has a collapsed larynx which blocks him from getting air in when his head is down and struggles even when his head is up. He is suffocating. He is the sweets dog in the world. He just wants you to pet and hold him all the time. When he can't breathe he runs over with so much fear in his eyes for me to help him and hold him. He is so funny bouncing around like a rabbit when he is feeling good and lives with a tiny tennis ball in his mouth for him to breathe at all times. As much as it helps him during the day, its actually super cute. He had a cornea transplant in his left eye, right eye having to get scraped multiple times w/ treatments by a specialist, then his ear canal removed due to bad ear infections. We have maxed out our cards with over 20k in vet bills and nothing left to save him now.

Athena is a 10-month-old Doodle in Lutz, FL, who needs $2,000 for Surgery for Liver Shunt.

Lutz, FL • Animalluvrs Dream Rescue

Athena seems to be another victim of over- and inbreeding and suffering the consequences. She was surrendered by her owner after being diagnosed with a liver shunt, which is likely congenital and due to irresponsible breeding. While the liver shunt is completely curable with surgery, it is an extremely extensive process and expensive surgery with an estimate around $10,000. Despite feeling lethargic and having so much recent change in her life, Athena continues to show her sweet and friendly personality. She is definitely a fighter! Athena is scheduled for surgery, but in the meantime is having additional medical testing completed. She requires bloodwork, x-rays, and ultrasound, and a CT with contrast. The medical process to fix the liver shunt will be a long road. Animalluvr's Dream Rescue is determined to get Athena the care she needs to live a long happy and healthy life. They will make sure she receives this crucial surgery no matter the cost. Please consider donating to help Athena fight for her life!

Lake Worth, FL

Ellie and I found each other less than two years ago at a shelter and my life has been changed ever since. She is our life! She is our only animal and we currently live in a 2 bedroom house in Florida and we love all the space we have for her!Ellie is our entire heart and soul. WE quickly become inseparable since the day we saw each other. She is our shy girl, but once Ellie knows you, to know her is to love her! She is the most gentle soul I have ever encountered. She only wants to give love and purrs to whoever she meets. Ellie is like a dog in the way she responds to us, follows us around, we can even get her to play fetch! She is our special girl, where it takes her a little longer to warm up to you, but when she does, she is all love and cuddles. She is the most unique kitty we have ever owned. She must sleep on our heads every night and we know that if she doesn't, something is not right! She is our girl. We took Ellie into the vet (Access Specialty Animal hospital) and when they ran tests, she was constipated secondary to chronic renal disease in her left kidney and an obstruction in her right kidney. They took her into emergency surgery place stent to bypass obstruction. Ellie was diagnosed with chronic kidney disease and now has a special diet and care we will do for the rest of her life. The vet bills so far have amounted to around $13,000, not including the future special care she'll need. I work but do not make enough for my cost of living and expenses. I do not have pet insurance or emergency fund to get from so any help is so so appreciated.

Recently he was had blood in his stool and audible stomach pain. A week ago he vomited and started screaming loudly in pain and pacing fast. Scrappy usually sleeps in his beds or explores the house and wants to eat delicious food when he is not walking. He gets excited when his owners come home and greets them. Throughout his whole life he was always happy and excited to go during his walks he always follows us and gets excited when cooking food and during BBQs. Since scrappy started having blood in his stools, screaming in pain, vomiting, trembling and pacing fast, we brought him to the emergency veterinarian hospital. They informed us he has septsis, which is when a bacterial infections gets into his blood and triggers inflammation throughout his body and organs. This happened after his bowel had a tear in it. He immediately had to have surgery. We do not have a high income compared to what the hospital is charging, my wage is 15$ per hour and my family member earns 11$ per hour, the hospital wants to charge $12848 for everything on the invoice they gave us.

Lady is a 2-year-old DSH Cat in Lake Worth, FL, who needs $2,000 for Emergency Cesarean Section, and Abdominal Surgery.

Lake Worth, FL • Truly All Cats Trapping and Rescue

Recently, our nonprofit cat trapping and rescue organization was alerted about a very friendly, VERY pregnant, cat who had sought refuge in a parking lot. With great urgency, we located and rescued Lady just in time as she had already begun to go into labor. Tragically a devastating turn of events occurred when the first kitten presented in a breech position becoming stuck in the birth canal. Terrified for Lady and her kittens, we rushed her to the vet for an emergency c-section. Sadly, none of her precious babies survived. This sweet girl was taken back to our rescue to receive the necessary love and care during her recovery. However disaster struck again when her foster noticed her surgical sutures had opened up exposing her internal organs. Once again, Lady was rushed to the emergency vet for surgery and to treat the relentless infection that nearly stole her life. After 5 days of testing, IV medications, and tube feedings, Lady was finally eating on her own and was becoming her sweet self again. she is now back with her foster where she is recovering nicely but not out of the woods yet. You can see how affectionate she is and how starved for love she was while living on the streets. She will never have to worry about where her next meal is coming from, having kittens, or being loved again. We are a 501c3 non-profit that traps community cats for TNVR. We also rescue as many friendly strays and young kittens, for adoption, as space and funds allow. Many need emergency vetting to address severe illness or injuries. Our only source of income is donations.

Lake Worth, FL • Truly All Cats Trapping and Rescue

Yuri was brought into the rescue with his bonded kitty friend Zelda. They came from a low-income rural area where they were once stray kittens but were brought inside and cared for as best as the person could. However, they had both become sick. Zelda overcame her URI quickly with antibiotics but Yuri rapidly declined and the antibiotics did not resolve his infection. Yuri is the sweetest boy. He is so loving and will rub up against anyone begging for attention. He and Zelda are so bonded; when his foster took him to the vet for treatment, Zelda was watching from the window, wondering where her best friend was going. They are inseparable and both so loving and sweet. Yuri and Zelda both are trained to perch on shoulders and will let you walk around with them on your shoulder. Yuri is also such a lap cat and just wants to be with you all the time. He wins over everyone that he meets. They both had a meet and greet with a potential adopter and even though she had seen 6 other cats, Yuri's sweet personality made her want to adopt them! Zelda had an upper respiratory infection when they were brought into the rescue. After she started treatment with antibiotics, Yuri came down with an upper respiratory infection as well. While the antibiotics worked quickly and completely resolved Zelda's infection, Yuri's continued to worsen and he started running a high grade fever that would not come down with subq fluids. We have been hit with so many medical bills lately and are unable to keep up financially. We have so many cats and kittens to feed and provide basic care for, and these emergency visits hit us so hard. We need Yuri to get better so he can be adopted.

Lake Worth, FL • Truly All Cats Trapping and Rescue

Timon was found during a TNVR project in downtown West Palm Beach FL. He was so friendly and was not being regularly fed, so he was brought into the rescue to be adopted. He actually had a meet and greet and was supposed to be adopted but then his medical issues appeared and the adopter moved on to another cat. Timon is incredibly sweet, docile, and so submissive. When he is around other cats, he hides for fear of being picked on. He loves people, even strangers. If you sit down, he will come right up to you and sit in your lap and start purring and making biscuits. He is the most outgoing and loving cat ever. He is hilarious. He is hyper flexible and when he is picked up like a baby, he fold his body completely in half! Sometimes he hooks a leg around his head for extra silliness. All of the volunteers and his vet staff have fallen in live with his sweet and funny personality. He is just an incredibly charming boy. He had bloodwork done at Justin Bartlett Animal Hospital after his jaundice was discovered. The bloodwork showed a liver infection so he was put on medications while we were treating him at the rescue. He began to decline and stop eating so we took him to Access Specialty Animal Services to be admitted for round-the-clock treatment. He is being discharged today but will need more bloodwork. Our rescue has had several big medical bills lately and we do not have the donations to be able to keep up with these large bills. We never know what a rescued cat is going to present with but we are determined to do all we can to save them.

He is remarkably intellegent and understands so many words, not just commands, he knows the difference between right and wrong. He's always happy and a lover. Everyone always wants to pet him he's always happy, smiling and ready to make new friendships. He opens the door to let himself out, he plays with the ducks in the yard, wouldnt hurt a feather, he 's a buddy to the feline residents as well. He has a keen 6th sense and watches over me. Boo was recently diagnosed with diabetes, he developed sudden onset cataracts, and is rapidly losing his vision. He has lost weight and become fearful I depend on Boo alot for my mental well being, the cost of his medical has put a huge financialstrain on me.
