Nola

Nola is a 3 month old Dachshund in Ada, OK, who needs $600 for Diagnosis and Treatment of Seizures.

Ada, OK

Nola is a playful and energetic 3 month old puppy! We’ve had her for a little over a month, she loves to play outside in the grass, she loves her water. She loves her older brother and fighting with him, she’s an inside dog, we got her from a lady that was about to move and she’s been with us since then. Nola had just started experiencing seizures, she starting foaming out of her mouth, using the bathroom on self, and even shaking so much. She now doesn’t know where she’s walking and gets stuck everywhere she goes. The vet were using is Ada Veterinary clinic in Ada, Oklahoma. She has became so attached to me, when I leave the house she whines for me, when I arrive home she runs to me and starts jumping all over me until I pick her up and hug all over her. She loves me and tolerates my husband. Sudden expenses that have taken almost everything from our bank, it would mean the world to me for my little baby to be healthy and playful again and playing with her sibilings!

Parvo Tried to Take Them — But We Couldn’t Let That Happen

Ada, OK • Paws N Ada (Pontotoc Animal Welfare Society)

This year has been brutal. With all the rain in Oklahoma, parvo has spread faster than we’ve ever seen. Normally, we’re able to keep it contained in the city’s Animal Control kennels. But this time, it hit home. Two of our own shelter dogs, Odie and Hamy, fell ill. Watching them grow weak from such a vicious virus was heartbreaking, but we refused to give up on them. Parvo is aggressive and fast-acting, especially for dogs already under stress in a shelter environment. Odie and Hamy both had to be rushed into emergency care, where they received round-the-clock treatment and intensive medical support. It was a difficult fight, but with expert care and lots of love, they made it through. We’re so thankful they pulled through, but the emergency treatment came with a cost we simply weren’t prepared for. The invoice is steep, and as a small organization, it’s more than we can carry on our own. That’s why we’re turning to you. Please help us cover the cost of saving these two precious lives. Every dollar gets us closer to paying off their treatment and continuing our mission to rescue, heal, and protect. They fought hard to survive — and now we’re fighting for them.

Cat Trap and Release

Help Us Save Lives. Support Our TNR & Spay/Neuter Program.

Ada, OK • Paws N Ada (Pontotoc Animal Welfare Society)

PAWS N Ada is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit on the front lines of feline welfare. As the contracted operator for our city’s pound, we provide a critical safety net for abandoned, stray, and feral cats. Right now, our shelter is overwhelmed—70+ orphaned kittens are in our care, and the number climbs daily. But we’re not just sheltering—we’re solving. 💡 Our Mission: TNR & Beyond Our Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) program is making a real impact. We take in feral cats from the city, provide full veterinary care, and release them safely back onto our property. Over time, many of these once-wild cats warm up to humans and find forever homes—or become happy, healthy barn cats. We’ve expanded our efforts to offer low-cost—and now with your help, FREE—spay/neuter services to the public. This is a lifeline for underserved community members and a long-term solution to the overpopulation crisis. But there’s a problem… 🚨 We’re Sinking Our resources are stretched to the breaking point. And just as we were making headway, our local city council paused cat pickups by animal control, cutting off a major intake stream. That means fewer cats are being altered and released, reversing our progress. We are doing everything we can—but we can’t do it alone. In 2025, we’ve already provided 136 free spay/neuter services to those unable to afford it—many more are waiting. 🎯 Our Goal: 114 TNR Spots Funded With your support, we can cover the cost of 114 additional TNR procedures—giving these cats a shot at a healthier life while reducing future suffering through population control. Each TNR procedure costs approximately $35, covering anesthesia, surgery, rabies, & ear tipping. 🐱 Donate Today. Save Lives Tomorrow. Your donation directly funds spay/neuter surgeries, medical supplies, and the care of kittens and feral cats. Every dollar helps prevent hundreds of unwanted litters and eases the burden on our overtaxed shelter system. 🙏 We’re not just fighting for cats. We’re fighting for balance, compassion, and a community that values every life. Be a part of the solution. Donate to the Cat Trap & Release Fundraiser today.

Apollo

Apollo is a 6 year old Siberian Husky in Ada, OK, who needs $450 for Ear Cytology and Treatment.

Ada, OK

We currently live in Ada. Only Apollos daddy works because I have to stay home with him so he doesn’t get separation anxiety and tear up the house. We rent, pay our bills, buy him food, treats, grooming and hygiene, and go for walks/runs with him daily. He is rather bossy and demanding. His vet is Ada veterinary clinic in Ada Oklahoma, we are needing to get his ear checked out. He escaped, got beat up by another dog and his ear torn up, it has healed but it has been giving him issues for a little bit. Apollo was a rescue. We’ve had him for 6 years. He is the weirdest dog I’ve ever had. He’s so goofy and weird, but he is our weirdo and we love him. He is an escape artist! There is no fence that can contain him. If he can’t jump it he will run along it, then up it and walk on the fence top until he reaches a freedom point, or will dig. We can’t leave him home alone even in a crate he gets out. We were homeless for two years, due to a busted pipe I paid to repair what I could but we became homeless again when my aunt sold my grandpas home without giving us any notice, but we stayed with friends from march-august 2024, our emergency fund is what paid for repairs.

Jack

Jack is a 4 month old Australian Shepherd in Ada, OK, who needs $200 for Wound Care.

Ada, OK • Paws N Ada (Pontotoc Animal Welfare Society)

Paws N Ada Jack is a young 4-month-old puppy who was left alone to fend for himself after being dumped in a common dumping ground for pets in Oklahoma. Being so young and vulnerable, naturally he was attacked by another stray and was very seriously injured. A Good Samaritan contacted PAWS N Ada rescue reaching out for help for this poor puppy. Thankfully, the rescue team went in and were able to catch Jack. As soon as he was in their care, they immediately took him to their vet to be evaluated. The most concerning injury was the large gash on his stomach. The animal that attacked him created a deep wound, leaving his inside tissue exposed and susceptible to infection. He also had several puncture wounds on various parts of his body. Jack was quickly stitched up and given proper pain medication to manage his wounds. He is safe and being closely monitored as he heals. He has a long journey ahead, but will feel nothing but love and support. He is so young, it is heartbreaking the hardships he has already faced. PAWS N Ada is a non-profit that relies on donations to help dogs like little Jack. Like all dogs, Jack deserves a chance to grow up and be a healthy, happy dog. Please consider donating to support Jack!
