Lilibet

Lilibet is a 5 month old Cavalier King Charles Spaniel in Macomb, MI, who needs $3,000 for Severe Hypothermia.

Macomb, MI

Lilibet came into my family’s life when we needed her the most. The house was feeling lonely after loosing 2 dogs last year. She came with a spunk and attitude that stole our hearts. Her name comes from the queen. Lilibet was terrified from the 4th of july fireworks and found the smallest hole in the fence and bolted out of it. Nothing like she has ever done before. We spent all night looking for her, fortunately in the morning we found her barely holding on. She has severe hypothermia and her heart was barely beating. Lilibet has 2 other sisters and a brother. From the moment we brought her into our home, she fell in love with them immediately. Her sisters are her whole world. She follows them everywhere and just wants to be grown up like them. We want her back home where she is supposed to be. This is a major unexpected financial expense, but we will do anything for it sweet girl. Any amount of help will would be so greatly appreciated. Even a prayer for our baby, or sharing. God is good. It is a miracle that she is still here with us today.

Hope

Hope is a 3 year old Mix-Breed in East China , MI, who needs $1,500 for Diagnostics and Possible Overnight Care.

East China, MI

Our girl Hope came into our lives as a kitten 3 years ago. She is the last to add to our family of now 6 cats and 1 dog. We absolutely love her as she is such a wild one compared to the rest, full of spunk and energy! We are a family of all girls, including myself and my 2 daughters. Hope was spayed on 6/12/25 and has not been the same since. It’s now 6/14 and she is still stumbling, not eating or drinking, we’re scared she has facial paralysis on the right side. I have added pictures to show. Also her incision is sunken in, none of our other 5 cats have looked like this. Hope LOVES to watch television. One of her most favorite things to do! She also has her favorite box that we kept for her that she’s destroying. lol. Hope is full of energy and so playful. Loving when she wants to be. She hasn’t been like this at all since coming home from being fixed. To take her to er vet is going to cost anywhere from $1,000 and up. I don’t believe this can wait until our vet opens. Her spay was done at our local snap. My car broke down just days before this happening, so trying to save up money for that as well

Kore

Kore is a 1 year old American Shorthair in Harrison township, MI, who needs $985 for Oxygen Administration, Allergy/Asthma Treatment.

Harrison township, MI

Kore is my little baby that was born during the spring. She was found outside as a baby running around. She loves playing in dried flowers and she is a curious little kitty. She is only a year old and well loved. She is the cutest friendliest cat that loves to cuddle and play. Today kore was found panting and having a hard time breathing on the couch, she had her mouth open, drooling, panting, and then eventually got very stiff and couldn’t walk. When we raced her to the vet she was still having a hard time breathing and had a fever of 106. Kore is one of the biggest personalities I’ve ever met, her favorite movie is Harry Potter and loves playing with her big brother Kane. It’s said there’s always a skinny cat and a chunky cat duo, and she’s the skinny cat partner to that! She loves making her older brother play. She will play but never hisses scratches or bites. She just always wants love and to give that love back. I’ve just recently started a new job (I haven’t even gotten my first paycheck type of new) after the COVID strike hit. I hate feeling like as a mom at this point I have failed my baby and am willing to do anything to make sure she gets the care she needs and deserves.

Boris

Boris is a 6-year-old Saint Bernard in Macomb, MI, who needs $2,000 for Gastropexy/GDV/Bloat Surgical Procedure.

Macomb, MI

Boris was posted on Facebook when he was 15 weeks old through Detroit Pitt Rescue as the newest rescue ready for a home. I couldn't resist that little face I had to apply for him. After interviews and meet and greets, we were the lucky family chosen to give Boris his forever home. Boris lives here with my husband and me along with our two other rescued Saints, Bentley & Natasha. Boris was born with hip dysplasia and bad hind knees. With a proper diet, and support from his veterinary we have been able to keep Boris from having knee and or hip replacement surgery. He has full reign of home. My husband works from home and Boris has his couch in the office to spend his day while dad is working. He loves to play tug of war with Bentley. Stuffings all over the house. Boris loves bananas. He can hear you peel a banana from the other room. Boris also loves to dance while we are preparing his meals. I attached a video from one of his mealtimes. Boris is the highlight of our day. We have rescued a total of 5 Saints over the years. We love him more than anything. Our children would tell you that we love the Saints more. With all that Boris has going on medically, he wasn't himself on December 21st and when he didn't want his bedtime banana we knew something was off. Hugging him for bedtime we noticed that his tummy was extended so off to the ER we went. Bloat was the diagnosis. Emergency surgery is the only remedy for bloat. Credit card in hand I put the down payment down and he underwent surgery at 10 pm. I have always been able to take care of the financial aspect of owning a large breed dog. This time it's a bit more challenging. I was diagnosed with Cancer just before Thanksgiving and underwent surgery on 12/18. Then on 12/16, my husband lost his job due to budget cuts.
