Jimbo
Jimbo is a 6 month old American Shorthair in Garden Grove , CA, who needs $8,000 for Diaphragmatic Hernia Repair Surgery.
Garden Grove, CA
Jimbo is our 4–6 month old kitten, and from the moment we met him, he’s been nothing but the most precious boy. He’s gentle, affectionate and super sweet, even when he’s struggling to breathe. When we noticed his breathing wasn’t normal, we took him to the vet, hoping for answers but never expecting the heartbreak that followed. After X-rays, we learned that Jimbo has a ruptured diaphragm (diaphragmatic hernia). His organs have shifted out of place, and the vet could barely tell what was where. They could even see what appeared to be his intestines in his lungs. The vet told us it was a miracle Jimbo was still alive and that he can't live on like this without surgery. Despite everything his tiny body has endured, Jimbo keeps fighting. He still purrs and asks for cuddles, just like any other kitten. The specialist the vet referred us to estimated the surgery would cost $6,000–$8,000. We truly wish to get our precious boy the care he needs because he deserves a happy life, but this is far beyond what we can afford on our own. Jimbo has already beaten the odds for months. He deserves the chance to grow up, to breathe freely, and to live the happy life every kitten should have. Any donation, no matter the size, brings us one step closer to giving Jimbo a normal happy life. If you’re unable to donate, we would appreciate it very much if you could spread the word. Thank you for caring, and thank you for helping us give Jimbo a second chance to bounce back. ❤️

Brody Essig
Brody Essig is a 8-year-old Shih tzu in Long Beach , CA, who needs $2,000 for Rectal Pull-Through.
Long Beach, CA
I got Brody as a Christmas gift from one of my best friends. I’d been wanting a dog for so long and he was perfect for me. He went with me to all my softball tournaments and any traveling I did. He was always there. It was him and I until my partner came along. We also got a sister for him a few years back too. Brody is a very independent guy, he has a ways been that way. He gives us love and kisses when he is ready too. Every morning he jumps up onto the bed and lays on our chest and gives us face kisses. He also gives his sister kisses and she gets so excited, she loves him so much. Every-time we come home he is so excited to see us he gets his ball and wants to play fetch with his wiggly tail. Brody is a very chatty guy. He loves to be outdoors every chance he can get. He loves to play fetch from a very young age. He’s always loved the water. He goes into my dads pool every time we are over there to take dips on the top step to cool his belly. He also loves going to the beach and running in the water. He’s a very active boy! Two years ago Brody developed a prolapse and we took him to our normal vet instantly. They did tests and couldn’t figure out why he had developed the prolapse. So we went to an internal medicine dr. They found out that he has chronic IBD that caused this. So he has been on multiple meds to keep the inflammation down. Due to the inflammation he has a localized cancer tumor they can remove. I have spent over 8k on Brody and have no credit left to put his surgery on. I also recently was injured in an accident breaking my face that I’m in debt over. I want to have this surgery so my boy can feel better again and be healthier.

Lyra
Lyra is a 12-year-old Puggle Dog in Mission Viejo, CA, who needs $1,500 for Exploratory Laparotomy for Cholecystectomy.
Mission Viejo, CA
Lyra and I currently rent a room at a friends house whom I have know for approximately 15 years. We also during the day spend a lot of time with family. Lyra enjoys the company she can be of assistance to as many as she can be. As a young puppy Lyra had a keen sense of notifying me when I would have a blood pressure episode where I could pass out. I had her trained as a Service Dog. Lyra came to me as a gift at 8 weeks old. She changed my life. I suffered from many health issues at this time. She would come and sleep with me on my chest, or right underneath my blanket along my side, She motivated me everyday to get up and walk her and take her any dog park so she could play with all of her friends she met along the way. Lyra is special in so many ways because of her being a Puggle a half beagle and pug she speaks to you as she almost is in a singling voice hence the name Lyra. When she is ready to play, she gets in a stance where her butt goes up and she gives you a look of " I am ready", come and chase me. If not careful you can always find her with a box of Kleenex ripping to shreds one by one. We have been seen by her Vet Dr. Barry at Baker Ranch animal Hospital. In the past few month due to Lyra's symptom's, blood test, and ultrasound has pointed to her needing her Gallbladder removed. Dr Barry introduced me to Dr. Page who did an extensive ultrasound and confirmed this finding. We were referred to Veterinary Specialist and saw Dr. Tony Cambridge who will do this surgery. Due to having a number of having a number of health issues and having surgery after surgery recently I am currently unable to work. I am currently living on a limited income which covers my basics needs and feed Lyra.

Simba
Simba is a 1-year-old Bichpoo in Irvine, CA, who needs $2,000 for a Fracture Repair.
Irvine, CA
Me and my boyfriend are huge animal lovers so we adopted Simba. As soon as we met Simba, we knew he was such a sweet pup and that we wanted him in our lives forever. We adopted him on 4/15/2021 and shortly after fell in love with him. We took him everywhere and he was loved by my family and friends. He always knew how to keep us happy and smiling during stressful times. Simba loves everyone he meets. He is always smiling and such a happy pup. He is a very smart little puppy and can do all the tricks you name it sit, stay, go get it, jump, spin, etc. He is a loving family member that when you look at him you immediately fall in love. He is a very friendly puppy and licks everyone he sees. We are both college students, and we were hit with an unexpected treatment surgery cost. Of course we will do anything to get him happy and fixed again and we will do anything to ensure he’s back to being his normal self but any help would be appreciated Simba was running downhill at a fast speed while playing and ended up dislocating his elbow. The vet we see will be irvine veterinary animal hospital and he will shortly be referred to an orthopedic surgeon in which they told us he will need surgery to help put the bone back in it’s place so he won’t have any troubles in the future with his arm My puppy favorite toy would be his squeaky pig when we throw that toy he is always tossing it around and just so occupied with it. He loves to play frisbee and will bring you back without any hesitation. He is such a happy pup and is spoiled and loved by us dearly. We want to give him the life he deserves which is happiness only.
