My boyfriend gave me Leah 8 years ago. I rescued her from a man who was moving to New York and couldn’t take her with him. Our last apartment had dust mites that infected us. Then I got evicted and had to stay at the snooty fox motel. It was filthy, and she also got a UTI, and an ear infection. I finally got us out of there and in a new apt, butthat left me with no money for the vet or medication I have taken her to a low cost vet in eagle rock and could only afford a shot for her skin allergies. I’ve tried home remedies but nothing helped. I desperately need help paying for a vet visit and medication that will clear her of the mites, clear her ear infection, and clear her uti. and also for a follow up visit to be sure nothing has relapsed. I see the pain in her eyes every day and I cry. Leah is my emotional support animal. I get horrible panic attacks and suffer from depression but she is so loyal she stays next to me and tries to help me through the rough patches. She is smart, funny, and a prankster hiding the tv remote from me. she can read my mind and my mood. She loves to eat cheese and We share ice creams together nap together, and sleep together. I can’t live without her. I have mental health issues that make it hard to keep a job so I got evicted when I couldn’t pay the rent. If Leah got the help she needs her physical pain and our depression would be relieved I would be able to cuddle her again and show up for her just like she has for me.
Lilly

Lilly lives with me and my parents. She has two brothers, Shaggy a male pug, and Scooby, a male pug/chihuahua mix. All three dogs live comfortably indoors. We cook homemade food for them and they are all up on their vaccinations. They are excellent companion dogs and really help us out with our medical difficulties. This is a campaign for spay/neuter surgery for our little Lilly. She is a Terrier/Chihuahua mix who has brought tremendous joy to our lives. We are a family composed of myself, a disabled military veteran, my 79 year old mom (who suffers from Alzheimer's) and my 90 year old dad who is a stroke survivor. We have three dogs including Lilly. The other two are Shaggy a male pug and Scooby. Our Lilly is the leader of the pack and is a little boss to her two older brothers. I swear she sees herself as a 170 Rottweiler. She is not afraid of anything but she will melt your heart with her snuggles and kisses. Lilly is the youngest of the pack at 8 months. We need to have her spayed before she gets in heat. We need to have Lilly spayed since she has two brothers who are still not neutered...we are working on that too. Lilly will soon start her first heat and we would like to avoid her getting pregnant. We are looking to have her surgery at: Affordable Animal Hospital in Eagle Rock, CA. The total fee is around $350.00 I have been unemployed for three years and have gone through my savings and now have no source of income and my parents are elderly and retired and on a limited income.

I met Kaya in 2014 when I was a dog walker in NYC. From the moment I met her, I fell in love with her. I moved back to LA in 2016 and in 2017 her owner called me to ask if she could stay with me as he was moving to Hawaii. She was only supposed to stay a few weeks but we came to find out she couldn’t go there because the airlines wouldn’t fly her. Her dad asked if I would keep her and I said yes. Kaya is a sweetheart. She gets along with my 12 year old puggle, Harley. They’re inseparable. She’s also a sweetheart and very loving with my nieces. She’s very protective of them. Whenever we have visitors she makes sure to bring out her toys to show off. She’s also very friendly with other dogs, but at the dog park she prefers to chase squirrels. Currently I haven’t been working since January because I had shoulder surgery. I hate to see Kaya in pain and wish I had the funds to have her surgery right away but I don’t have all the money right now as my income is limited. Kaya is very healthy overall, but she suffers from ear infections a lot. We believe she broke a blood vessel in her ear flap which caused the hematoma. And the only way to remove it is to have surgery. I have some of the money, but not all of it and in order for the surgery to happen, I need to have all of the money. Kaya is super special for me. When she was adopted as a puppy, she almost died of pneumonia, her vet recommended she be out down but her dad didn’t give up on her and neither did she. She’s a strong girl and she is thriving even at 13 years old. She still acts like a puppy., does her zoomies all the time, she never gets tired.

Miza is pretty much my very first dog, I had some dogs when I was a little girl but I never got to bond deeply. The reason I have Miza is because my grandma gave her to me, she knew how much I wanted a pug and since I'm about to turn 20 she got Miza for me. I do not know whether Miza was treated right in her old home but when I got her she was already sick and that makes me really sad. When Miza came home (January 13) she was very sad and most likely scared. My little baby used to sleep a lot, I thought it was normal because of her age but little by little she started trusting me and stopped sleeping a lot. She is a very caring and loving puppy, she truly means the world to me. Miza loves my house because is her house, she goes around everywhere and she is always moving her tail. I am a college student and I work as a babysitter, it is not a very stable job and all my savings were used in the Emergency Room. I really hope I don't have to give Miza away I've been with her for only 2 weeks and if I have to I'd like to know what's wrong with her first. Miza was not dewormed right, she has roundworm on January 19 I had to take her to AM Emergency clinic of Pasadena because she was pooping blood, it was the saddest day of my life, Miza did not move at all, she was crying and crying. Now Miza needs an X-RAY and Blood test because she might have an infection too. Miza's tummy keeps getting bigger and bigger and without those exams, she might die. Miza is super special, everyone at home adores her, she is the queen of the house. I wish you could meet her. She is a very strong puppy, even though she is sick, I can see that she tries to be strong and give us so much attention. Miza has learned not to poop on her bed but on a training pad, she is the smartest puppy I've ever seen. There is something about Miza that makes life more enjoyable.
Appa

Appa was given to my son for his birthday. She's about a year now. She's the most sweetest dog. She's in an indoor dog who's on a raw meat diet! She's the most adorable chunkiest dog. She loves her naps and doesn't mind going for walks. I try my best to keep her in top shape. She's an inside dog. She loves it. Appa loves the 2 cats that are in the house. She's always playing around with them. She also gets along with other animals. She's always wanting to play with them. She gets along great with my mom's chihuahua. Always excited to see him when he comes around. They're best friends. And I'm hoping it stays that way. I'm a single mother of 3 babies. Plus Appa. I work part time. I've been saving up for my babies eye surgery but I still need help. And I'm afraid if she doesn't get the surgery soon she might lose her eye. Appa was diagnosed with cherry eye about 2 months ago. Then a month ago it happened on her right eye. I've been calling places to see the most affordable vet clinics that would work for me, but no success, affordable animal clinic in Compton was the best one I could I find. She's also already lost her sight on her left eye. Appa loves to be next to me when I'm in the kitchen cooking something. She just lays and watches me cook. Her snoring when she sleeps always makes me smile. She's always sticking out her tongue when she's asleep. It's the cutest thing ever. She's always waiting for me when I come back home. Just seeing her makes me smile.

I adopted him early this year, one week after my previous little pitbull, Oreo, passed away on top of me on the first day of 2020. I really don’t ask for handouts, especially because no one owes you anything but I have no other options. He got hit by a car June 6th. I can’t afford his tail surgery plus everything else that comes with it. I’m not looking for sympathy but I’m asking for help. I can’t even begin to describe how dope this guy is! I took him after the previous owners couldn’t care for him. His name is Buscemi like the actor:). Yet mom calls him Bushing with her Mexican accent. The children call him Bush. Therefore I call him Carpart! I never though I'd get over my previous Oreo also a pit but mix with chinhuahua. But this guy here is something else. He’s my frIend. He got hit by car I already spent $150 on top of what I have which is at this moment $28 to my name. I don’t have a steady income especially with this pandemic but nevertheless it isn’t an excuse. I don’t want to fail him. I really can’t. I’m just trying to raise money to get him a tail surgery - no more and no less. I just need help took him to an animal hospital and surgery estimate is between $1,850 and $2,200. All I can say is I need help I don’t wanna see him suffer. He's being seen by Dr. Mara Gillette at Affordable Animal Hospital Eagle Rock. There isn't anything like unconditional love. I was battling inner demons and, what more can I say but he’s the only reason I overcame my depression and drug addiction. I just began to be more out and about with him and like I always say, "Life is funny (satire ) and this happens". I'm reaching out to everyone that I know for help.
