Cmdr Data
Cmdr Data is a 10-year-old DSH Cat in Alameda, CA, who needs $2,000 for Full Mouth Extractions for Stomatitis.
Alameda, CA
Data was a San Leandro stray who was brought into the ER on my shift. It was an instant connection as he crawled into my arms and started purring. He came in as a medical foster, and we couldn't break him apart from his BFF Lt. Worf. He has a forever home, indoor with us. Our house is cat-centric and they are spoiled rotten. Data is deeply bonded with his housemates, but also loves his humans. Data is a big snugglebug who will just flop in our laps and start purring. He makes us smile with his silly antics. We love him dearly. Data is deeply bonded with fellow Starfleet cats Cpt Kirk and Lt. Worf. He also is deeply adored by our toy poodle mix. They are ridiculous with their play, snuggle sessions and troublemaking. When Data wants attention from his friends he just lays ontop of them. It quickly turns into grooming love session. He is currently teaching our youngest kitten how to properly hunt tails. Data is a FIP survivor. He was diagnosed after sudden onset of GI signs. He had already been diagnosed with juvinile periodontal disease before this. It put that treatment on hold. He has stomatitis that affects all of his teeth, causing him to drool, not be able to eat hard food, and paw at his mouth. Full mouth extractions needed. FIP treatment for Data was a HUGE expense. $2500 on his medication. I also spent $4100 to amputate a leg on our youngest cat. We are a house of medical misfit pets, and the expenses just all came at once. I maxed out my CareCredit. I have nothing in my savings or bank account

Liuliu
Liuliu is a 8-year-old Domestic Short hair in Corte Madera, CA, who needs $2,000 for Full mouth radiographs and full mouth extractions.
Corte Madera, CA
I met Liuliu at Marin humane Society in 2015. It was LOVE at first sight. She is polydactyl, six toes on both of her front paws. At that moment, I believe it was fate that brought us together. Because my nick name is 66, pronounced as “Liuliu” in Chinese. And that’s how she got her new name and new life with me. Liuliu is 100% a lap cat. She would always want to sit on my legs and nap for hours. At night, she loves to lay down and lean on my pillow then purring us to sleep. She likes to chase the laser pointer, but would want some tuna flakes treats first. And I call her doggie cat because she always greets me at the door whenever I come home. I just recently lost my job due to COVID 19. I lived on paychecks and I do not have much savings. I’m currently looking for other jobs but there aren’t many that are hiring at the moment. Please, anything helps! Liuliu has diabetes, I need to give her two shots of insulin everyday since September 2019. Recently I found that she doesn’t like to chew on her food, and there’s a strong odor coming from her mouth. I took her to the vet, turns out that she has a really severe dental disease and resorption which requires a surgery soon. I just can not stand thinking of she’s been in pain for so long. Liuliu has a sister called Jiujiu, who I also adopted from Marin Humane Society. They like to cuddle and clean each other. But their pursonality is totally different, Liuliu is scared of a lot of things: delivery person knocking on the door, vacuum machine, plastic bags, sometimes even a loud sneeze. Then she will crawl under the bed and hide there until I shake the tuna flakes bag.
