Tessa Mae Whovier Bryant showed up to our house about six months after moving in. She roamed around until winter came and she became an inside cat and wonderful part of the family. Tessa is a daddy's girl and loves to talk and have conversations with you. She loves to nap on her window hammock and took care of her 19 years old dog sibling by walking beside her to protect her from bumping into things and checking on her while she slept. Tessa loves Christmas and is named after Marth May Whovier from The Grinch! She is super friendly and loves to greet anyone who comes by. She is picky kitty that won't eat food crumbs nor anything tuna! Tessa had an pregnancy that resulted in an emergency C-section. Everything was going well until her incision started to split and she developed a hernia. She had to have a second emergency surgery to fix the hernia and the affected tissue from the incision splitting. She is being treated at All Hearts Animal Hospital in Hickory, NC by Dr. Jenna Moe. Having two emergency surgeries has left us completely wiped out financially. Myself and my husband are both have disabilities restricting in the amount we are able to work. Tessa is the cat that made us cat lovers. She changed the game for us and she has our whole hearts.

Hello my name is Moonshine. I got my name because when i was rescued the moon was shining so bright. I am needing to have most of my teeth removed because i have a disease that will not get better if not. I am 2 years old and live inside with my human family and other cats as well. My mouth is so inflamed and i can not eat hard food so i get special soft food so i get my nutrients. I like to cuddle up between my human mom and dad and sleep at the foot of there bed aw well. I also like to play with my scratch toys. I sometimes try and be boss over my brothers and sisters that was rescued but we all love each other. I do have a tantrum at times where i pout and try to charge my mom and dad which they think is funny. I like being inside more now than i use to. Moonshine is a blessing to have and he does have some issues in his backside he walks not normal but he does not slow him down. He could not walk for about a month then with patience and therapy on our part moving his legs and helping him walk he is able to get around on his own. He is so loving but does have a attitude sometimes. We are looking to get most of Moonshines teeth pulled so he can get relief to eat and not be in pain all the time. The Vet is also gonna look at his back legs seeing if we need to do anything else for him to walk better. Our vet is wonderful. We have taken several of the cats we have to her. We can usually cover the routine visits for the cats but we are not able to cover the surgery cost as we are on fixed income and all our extra money goes for food and other meds that our special kitties need. Anything will help as we need to get this done asap for relief
