Mando was rescued from a very abusive situation. He didn't trust anything or anyone, understandably, when my son brought him to me. He was very guarded & it took some time but once he knew he was safe & could be content, his personality shined bright. Despite what he went through he is so sweet & loving. He is so spoiled now & he knows he's mommas boy. Mando is in an emergency situation. He just lays curled up & cries in pain and threw up bile today.His blood work shows anemia &Hes doesn't want to hardly get up because he's weak. Ferguson's Animal hospital said he needs x-rays ASAP to see if he has a blockage, and also determine the next steps in getting him better. They want to see him when they open today, & I have no way to pay for the xrays Mando is very special to me. He isn't just a dog. He is my child, my best friend. He has been right by my side through some very hard times. I finally left a very abusive marriage, leaving everything behind starting over. We are all each other have. My heart breaks when I look in his eyes because when he needs me the most I'm not financially able to be there for him and help him get better. I recently applied for disability and I am waiting on the decision. I left an abusive marriage leaving everything behind & starting over. I'm trying to get back up on my feet but it's been so hard. Little Bit

Little bit is 6 years old she's completely blind and missing one eye She was born here in the garage by two mother cats I'm not sure which one was her mother but they left her here and I took her in and got her fixed She has the full run of the house she's an excellent navigator she mapped out the whole house you would never know she was blind unless you moved something which I never do Little bit was experiencing weakness Thursday which led to her falling and I borrowed the money for my brother to take her to the hospital at all tails vet in johnson city to see what was wrong with her and they did blood work and they said that she had a dental infection in three infected teeth and severe periodontal disease and the infection was in her blood. She stopped eating her mouth hurts. Well little bit has Furby who's 3 he's a male cat He looks like a cleaned up version of church on pet sematary and pickles she's a black and white tuxedo and she enjoys playing with them but she's kind of slowed down and she's not really moving around much now and they miss playing with her they're both three years old and little bit is 6 years old. If she could get the surgery she could play. I took care of my mom and dad until they passed away and my credits no good about the time I pay the bills I don't have anything left that's why I borrowed the money to take little bit to the vet for my brother and I've got to pay him back and I just don't have anything

Nova came into my life in December 2025 from the Las Vegas Animal Shelter, a quiet, gentle soul who somehow felt like home from the very first moment. They said she needed me, but I know the truth is I needed her more. Her name came to me that first night—she curled up beside me, looked up with those soft, knowing eyes, and it felt like a light had sparked in the dark. A nova, sudden, bright While we were homeless in Nevada, Nova and my husband were hit by a car. She suffered severe injuries to her foot, and despite ongoing care since returning to Tennessee, it hasn’t healed. Veterinarians now say the damage is too extensive, and her foot will need to be amputated to relieve her pain and help her heal. The doctors at All Tails clinic in Jonesboro have done a great job Nova has this gentle way of knowing when someone needs her—she’ll quietly press against you, like she’s holding you together. She follows us everywhere, always close, always watching. With my husband, she’s playful and protective; with me, she’s my calm in the chaos—my heart on four paws. Since returning to TN, Nova’s injured foot hasn’t healed and now must be amputated at All Tails Vet Clinic. I’m unemployed and job hunting with no callbacks, Zack works part-time, and we’re currently staying with a friend in JC
Grace
Grace is a 7 year old Pug in Bristol , TN, who needs $700 for Tumor Removal/Spay.

I received Grace as a gift when she was about 8 weeks old. It was my understanding that she was a runt. She has been by my side since then. Grace is a very affectionate dog who lives to sit on my lap, and she sleeps beside me every night. She loves food and has a favorite teddy bear she plays with. Grace started developing a tumor on her front left leg. It has grown pretty fast and even though she doesn't act like it hurts at all, I know it has to be heavy on her leg. It seems to be held on by her skin, so it flops when she walks. The vet wants to do blood work, spay her, and remove the tumor. Grace is one of the sweetest dogs you could ever meet. She is very calm, and just wants love. She has never had any aggressive behavior toward any animal, or human. She loves to eat, sleep, snore, and play with her teddy bear. She likes to sit on laps and take naps. I am 20 years old, I recently had to take a break from college because I could no longer afford it. Because I was in college my job is part time, so saving this money is extremely hard when I barely make enough to last from paycheck to paycheck.

Midgnight came into my life in August of 2023, as a rescue. Since the first moment that we laid eyes on each other, I knew he had stolen my heart. He is so sweet, and loving, and he looks so dapper as he is a tuxedo. Midnight had suddenly stopped eating as much, had started loosing weight, and was very lethargic back in January. I took him to All Tails Animal Vet and he was diagnosed with FIP. We fought it, and he was in observation. A week later he stopped walking and lost weight drastically. He has relapsed and will need to start treatment all over again. Midnight loves greenies and chicken flavored tastefull mousse. He would come running when he heard the bag opening. His favorite toy was the scratching post, and the feather cat toy. We have 3 dogs and 2 other cats. He loves to play with the dogs tails, he would even play with their shadow, trying to catch them. Midnight started having seizures and we went to the er vet, he has multiple medications, and we have multiple blood tests coming to check his progress. We also have an elderly and a diabetic dog with meds. I work full time and my husband is disabled on fixed income.
