My baby girl came to me through a friend. My friend had been taking care of her as a stray kitty, and noticed that she had a runny nose and watery eyes so she took her to the vet and realize that she needed an inside house. So she was my Christmas present. She came home with me on Christmas Eve. So I make sure that she gets spoiled on her Got You Date. My baby girl is FIV positive, and needs to have regular check ups. Lately she’s been having some other health issues. I am not sure at the moment what’s going on she does have a vet visit. And based off of the information that I gave the vet, she thinks that it’s a neurological disorder. B is a very loving fur baby! She would greet me at the door and tell me all about her day. She wants to be cuddled all the time even when it’s 100° outside if she’s not touching me somehow she’s not happy. This little girl has been an amazing blessing to me. I live alone, so she’s my family. And the thought losing her kills me. I honestly don’t know what I would do without her. I live alone I’m not married and I work a minimum wage job. So I literally live paycheck to paycheck. And don’t actually have an emergency fund or even a savings account because I end up having to use it for something as soon as I have anything set aside.

Zaddie came into my life after Daughters mother-in-law and father-in-law passed away. Zaddie was outside and we could not catch her for over a month last January when it was zero degrees. When we caught her--she acted so lost since she had lost the only human family she knew. She also had a urinary infection which we treated. I finally won her heart and she is such a sweet precious girl. Zaddie has fatty liver disease, also known as hepatic lipidosis, is a serious condition in cats that occurs when a cat's liver becomes overloaded with fat. She stopped eating some time around Christmas eve. I noticed she was not around as much or as active but when she started hiding and not coming for loving-I knew something was wrong. Angel Animal Hospital has been force feeding and fluids. Zaddie is friends with a pit bull mix-Capone. She is very loving and has a very loud purr. She loves to eat--ALOT. Normally she is a very large cat with beautiful hoot owl eyes. She normally is very strong and opinionated and stretches out like she owns the place. Which she does. She has had so much loss in her life--she has won my heart. I hope for prayers for her recovery also. I am 72 years-still working full time. My health has taken several hits lately. I have Guilliam Barre and broke my back last year. I live alone other than my precious 4 legged family. My income is limited and I need help with this unexpected health scare for Zaddie.

I got snoopy at 8 weeks, he’s my first ever puppy… my baby boy I never thought I would actually get attached to him like this haha. Lil Bear has been a mobility service dog from 8wks for a mostly bed bound owner. Septic shock left me with multiple organ damage and a failing spine in excruciating pain barely able to walk. Lil Bear changed my life & saved my life twice. Overheating caused my medical fentanyl to overdose and I would begin to die. Twice when I overdosed he rolled me off the bed to the freezer, opened it and held me next to the cold until I came back. Over the years our immobility has cause debilitating health issues for him. The wear on his bones & excess weight have left him in constant pain and unwilling to get up. He has tumor-like warts all over & he struggles to breathe. Many time he refused to leave me to go with the dog walker. And as I became more mobile he was the only reason I could leave my home again. He is my best friend, my favorite nurse and I will do anything to care for him the way he has loved and cared for me. We have finally found a functional medicine vet who can treat him. They say he can return to full health & live several more years, but I cannot afford the on going treatments on disability. Without them his life will be shorter, immobile and filled with pain.

So Ellie is a foster fail. She came into my life about six years ago through a local animal rescue. She had been living in a garage for an unknown amount of time, because the lady who had taken her in didn't want her messing up the house. I also have a chi weenie who is older and belongs to my cousin who lives with me. Ellie is really sweet and calm natured. So she has conjunctivitis, arthritis, and obesity. I currently take her to Angel Animal Hospital in Springfield, MO under the care of Dr. Nie. She has a lot of pain and stiffness, so we are working on treatment to get her pain managed. My Ellie is a precious dog. She has separation anxiety, but I've always interpreted that as her just really missing and needing me. When I was diagnosed with mental health issues three years ago, she was eager for me to get home from the hospital. She had actually barreled through the screen door of the office and tore through the wire mesh. She didn't get injured. I make 25,000 a year gross income, and I have over 4,000 in taxes due throughout the year. I inherited my grandparents home, and I have to pay the taxes on it. It's better than renting or trying to purchase a home, but I have other expenses that pop up periodically as well.

I have had Sage since she was born on September 16, 2016. She was the runt of her liter and she has been my sidekick ever since. She is always there to give you a hug when it's needed. She is an absolute perfect pet. She is amazing with our kids and our other dog. She is usually energetic and playful and definitely a mamas girl! I don't know how I would handle it if I were to lose her. She is my best friend. She has helped me through a lot of hurdles just by always being there for me. We like to call her prissy paws because she is always dancing when she is up and moving around. We recently lost her companion on January 5th and we brought her inside to be with us and she chewed up a towel that is now causing a blockage in her stomach and she has not had any bowel movements for 2 days now and the vet said she is needing surgery to remove it. The end of 2023 my husband broke his ankle and hasn't been able to work till recently, our son had a medical emergency, and the other vet bills from our other husky that we lost really added to our dilemma.

Melony has been with me ever since she was born. I also have her moma Ginger. These two dogs have an unbelievable bond! They been there for the good times and the tragic. Melony is so gentle with my nieces baby 10 months. Every time she goes near him, you hear her fantly whimpering because she cares so much for him. All she does is try to kiss him constantly. SO PRECIOUS! The baby plays taking toys back and forth. Makes your heart fill with joy! I know she would jump in front of a bullet to save any of us! Just like I will do for her! Melony, Ginger, and myself had a pretty rough time together! Which has bonded our love! They saved me as much as I save them. I lost my only child in 2018. I really felt the world had no place for me. We live for our children. But the love they had for me gave me purpose! Melony BLESS HER HEART She got shot in the eye lost her eye. She almost lost her life to pyometra. The university and GOD saved her. Now has cancer. Just starting to show signs! Lots of life to live! She has a grade 2 low grade tumor removed. She has a high chance of it returning if she doesn't get treatment! Aternative. Believe me I won't let her suffer. She deserves so much! Melony has insurance. My responsibility will be 20% of cover procedures. Also the nutrition the vet recommends is costly. Not every item will be covered. This is our Angel! She's has has good prognosis and another chance to shine!
