Chloe
Chloe is a 14 year old Mix-Breed in King , NC, who needs $3,000 for Exam, X-ray, Anesthesia, Extraction, Antibiotics.
King, NC
Chloe was a stray puppy that I took into my home almost 14 years ago. She’s been with me through the ups and downs, the good and the bad, she is literally my best friend. She is 14 years old but she is so playful and full of life. I’ve always been able to take care of Chloe’s veterinarian bills, etc. However, I have been out of work for close to a year now and limited to what work I can accept. I keep having seizures and I haven’t been able to get the condition under control therefore limiting what I can do for work. Chloe has always been very healthy. However, recently I have noticed that she has a very bad tooth abscess on the left side of her mouth. She is in ALOT of pain. I would trade places with her in a second if I could but I can’t. I’m trying to get her the help she needs. Chloe is so full of energy. She loves chasing squirls up trees and she is lightning fast. She stays inside with me and my son. She’s potty trained and hasn’t had an accident in our house since about 2 weeks after we took her in. This dog is ridiculously smart. I hate seeing her like this. The pain has got to be excruciating. She can hardly eat or drink right now and all she wants to do is sleep. I’m trying to find work but these seizures are really preventing me from being successful right now. I’ve temporarily lost my license because of them and the last two jobs I’ve had I have lost due to having a seizure while working. However, this is my problem not hers.

Pippi
Pippi is a 3 year old Miniature Australian Shepherd in Walkertown , NC, who needs $2,000 for Surgery.
Walkertown, NC
I remember the day I got to go pick pippi up she was just a little bitty thing… she still is.. but she was so tiny. She has always been such a sweet dog. Even with the kids. She deserves a chance. This is heartbreaking. I went to give pippi a bath yesterday in the sink in the kitchen Im not sure why I didn’t use the tub i should have.. she fits in the sink fine so I just did that. Like many dogs, she doesn’t like bath time at all. I turned my head for a second to grab a towel from the counter on the opposite side and she slipped out and landed on her side… now she needs surgery Pippi is very sweet she isn’t the average little dog you think of biting the mailman’s ankle walking up. She will alert you he’s coming but once realizing he’s nice she would lick him to death lol. She really is special i just want to give her a chance I can’t live with the thought of not trying… they become family I am a stay at home mother. As much as I would absolutely love to work full time, and it would help us with bills tremendously.. i have a condition called POTS that makes me faint at times and have seizures to follow at times. Until it is completely controlled I can’t…

Sarge
Sarge is a 1-year-old English Bulldog in Clemmons, NC, who needs $1,750 for Airway Surgery.
Clemmons, NC
Sarge was abandoned by his family after being neglected for his first year of life. He was at risk of euthanasia at the humane society so we have been fostering him and getting him well. He has battled kennel cough, ringworm, tapeworms, and now is in need of airway surgery to improve his quality of life. He cannot breathe through his nose so he tires very easily and sleeps mostly standing up. Currently Sarge is gated off in the hall but goes on many walks a day. He also loves hanging out in the shade on the porch. He doesn’t quite known how to play yet but he is slowly coming alive. He loves to be scratched and pet and so far hasn’t met a human he doesn’t like. We let him socialize for brief periods with our other dog and I can tell he’s starting to want to play with her. Sarge is just now starting to show his personality. He is very chill and will simply stare a hole through you when he needs something. When he runs or attempts to play with our other dog he does the cutest little pounces. He likes to hop erratically and swipe with his paws. He loves to follow me around and is going to make the best ‘best friend’ one day! Currently Sarge is being treated by 2 veterinary practices. The humane society has treated his ringworm, tape worms, and kennel cough; however, they are not financially able to get him the airway surgery he so desperately needs. We have gotten an estimate at a local vet and are hoping to be able to offer it for him as soon as financially possible. Sarge has had a rough start. He wasn’t given a chance by his previous owner and I can tell he just wants to love and be loved. This surgery will finally give him the ability to sleep well and have the energy to learn how to be a dog!
