Niko
Niko is a 11 year old American Shorthair in Humble, TX, who needs $1,500 for Recheck Examination, Abdominal Ultrasound.
Humble, TX
I adopted Niko on October 31, 2015, after a remarkable journey that started when a veterinary clinic rescued him. His previous owner, unable to understand his self-harming behavior, had tried to have him euthanized. Luckily, caring veterinarians stepped in and persuaded the owner to surrender him. They soon discovered that Niko was suffering from a food allergy, which was the root of his distress. After a year of dedicated care at the clinic, he finally regained his health, and that’s when our paths crossed. These days, Niko lives happily with his older sister, Aja, and his younger brother, Chloe. For many years, his health was steady, needing only a special diet of dry and wet food along with medication for gastrointestinal issues. However, everything changed on August 25, 2025, when we faced a major challenge that put our bond to the test. Niko was diagnosed with Small-cell Lymphoma and required urgent medical attention. While the prognosis is positive, he will need ongoing, intensive treatment for the rest of his life. I’m grateful for his pet insurance, but the bills are piling up as we start this new chapter. Recently, I also had unexpected personal medical expenses that drained my savings. I’m doing my best to cover his ongoing treatments by reaching out to all the financial aid organizations I can find. I’ve also exhausted my CareCredit and am managing my budget as carefully as possible. With only one income and three cats to look after, staying afloat financially has become more and more challenging.

Lando
Lando is a 10 year old Mix-Breed in Sugar Land, TX, who needs $1,994 for CHOP Protocol.
Sugar Lando, TX
Lando, my 10-year-old Boxer/Bulldog mix, was rescued from a shelter after surviving a gunshot wound. He now lives with me and his Husky-type brother, Solo, in Sugar Land, Texas. Lando recently completed 13 weeks of CHOP chemotherapy for T-cell lymphoma and is in remission. Despite also managing a CCL tear, he remains active, enjoys daily walks, naps with Solo, and receives attentive home care. Lando, my 10-year-old Boxer/Bulldog mix, is receiving treatment at the Animal Cancer Center of the Woodlands. He recently completed 13 weeks of CHOP chemotherapy for T-cell lymphoma and is currently in remission. In addition, he is managing a CCL tear with medication and controlled exercise. His regular veterinary care is provided by Foster Creek Veterinary Hospital for ongoing support. Lando is special because he has shown incredible resilience and joy despite many challenges. Rescued after surviving a gunshot wound, he continues to live with love, strength, and playfulness. Even while battling lymphoma and a CCL tear, he greets each day with tail wags, cuddles, and curiosity, inspiring everyone around him with his bravery and unshakable spirit. Lando’s insurance was dropped, and the only new policy offered cost $5,201 a year for just $5,000 in coverage—an impossible expense. I’m covering care out of pocket, but costs are overwhelming. Support means Lando can continue treatment, stay healthy, and share more time wit

Buddy
Buddy is a 8 year old American Pit Bull Terrier in Webster, TX, who needs $1,192 for Doxorubicin.
Webster, TX
Buddy came to us as a stray 6 years ago. It took 2 weeks for him to let us pet him comfortably and he's been a lap dog ever since. He lives with his 2 furry sisters Bella and Dixie Mae that he is completely bonded to. He is the best boy that loves to play and chase his squeaky ball around in the back yard. He has been the perfect companion for our family and is loved very much. Buddy was diagnosed with Lymphoma on July 17th this year. We took him to meet with an oncologist at the Animal Cancer and Referral Center on July 22nd and started chemotherapy immediately. He will have weekly chemotherapy treatments for 25 weeks. He is a healthy 8 year old baby that is the perfect candidate for chemotherapy and has a high chance of going into remission. Buddy has been the sweetest boy since day one. He is so calm and loves to cuddle on the couch together or in bed. We absolutely cannot imagine our lives without him. He has shown us what a fighter he is when he went through heartworm treatment and remained heartworm free since the treatment. He has also become a favorite for our friends and family to visit due to his calm and loving personality. Buddy's lymphoma diagnosis came out of nowhere and the cost of treatment is something I don't think anyone is prepared for. Buddy deserves the chance to fight this diagnosis and we want to give him the best chance possible. He means absolutely everything to us.
