Bennie

Bennie is a 7 year old Mix-Breed in Westminster, CO, who needs $2,000 for Physical Eye Exam, Fluorescein Stain Test, Etc..

Westminster, CO

My dog Bennie was a gift to me from my mother when I was in the lowest point in my life hoping that maybe somehow someway a little creature such as himself could turn my life around. And he did…Bennie did more than that for me, he changed the entirety of my life. He made me who I am today, he made me a better sister, a better friend, a better daughter, and generally a better person to be around. Out of nowhere when I came back from house sitting for a close family friend, Bennie had developed what looked like a bruise on his inner thigh which looks to be going away. But about three days later which is today August 16th, 2025 I noticed the white part of his looked to be filled with blood. I tried researching but it could be a multitude of different things. His behavior hasn’t been strange. Bennie is full of spunk, personality, and attitude. He is always so full of energy, always doing goofy things to make all of us around him laugh and smile. It almost seems like he wants to make us laugh, like he wants to make us happy…he loves all his family members and makes sure that he protects us when he feels threatened by someone (aka the mailman) lol! This guy means the world to me. I’m a young woman who is a full time student with only a part time job which only brings in about $1200 a month and $14,400 annually before taxes. Most of my paychecks goes towards paying rent towards my family or phone bill which is why it’s so difficult.

Herculez

Herculez is a 11-year-old Pitbull in Federal Heights, CO, who needs $1,300 for Neuter, Dental, Blood Work, and Mass Removal.

Federal Heights, CO

Herculez is my baby boy. Even though he is 11 he is my furbaby. We started out as a family of 4 pitties. Zues his dad, Marley his step mom, and jealousy his step sister. I have had him from birth, and last year lost his sister and mom. I have health issues myself MS and a heart condition that have not made it easy to provide the best care. But I will do everything I can to keep him healthy. Herculez is my best friend. Everywhere I go he will follow. He even likes to take me to the bathroom. I guess because I take him potty too lol. He can be a bit of a grumpy old man these days, but when he was younger he loved to run and play with my son. He still gets his zoomies every once in a while but he is slowing down. Herculez is just a goofball. He loves to eat apples, carrots, and especially watermelon. Soon as the melon comes in the house he will beg for me to cut it open. He always makes me feel better with his presence, and seems to think he can fit on my lap for naps. As I stated with my own medical issues I haven't been able to keep up with him as much as I should. We list his sister due to a mass rupturing and cancer. Herculez recently was collapsing. Constant diarrhea and vomiting. He also lost 5lbs from all this. His vet stated he needs to be fixed, have blood work, and a deep cleaning of his teeth. He had hip swelling and popping in his hips. The last visit I have MS, heart problems, and recently just lost my job. I have a son with a disability and was barely getting by as it is, but now I have no job. I wanted to get Herculez in with my vet until the job loss happened.

Chloe

Chloe is a 13-year-old Yorkie in Westminster, CO, who needs $380 for ultrasound.

Westminster, CO

Hi this is Chloe, she is the love of my life! I’ve had her for almost 14 years. She has had two litters and did very well. I have had her since she was a baby. She lives with me also. I have her son and another dog I adopted, in my one bedroom apartment. She gets along with my other dogs that I need for my anxiety disability. This little girl interacts with everybody she has and comes into contact with. She knows who her family is and bounces with joy every time we come into the room. And if she doesn’t know you, when she gets to know you, she’ll never leave your side. She gets along with everyone and has never had a mean streak in her body. My pressing financial situation is that I am working only 30 hours or less a week and have been at my job for a month and a half. It would mean the world to me to just find out what is going on. I want her to be able to be comfortable because we love her so much. Chloe has been in great health but recently she has developed a sneeze. I took her into Animal Clinic North. Her doctor is Dr. Kerry Madole and we did an x-ray and found that her small intestines are for some reason being pushed back. We need to do an ultrasound to figure out what is going on. I did pay for her antibiotic shot and medicine to calm down her stomach. The great thing about having her is that she likes to take charge of the house. And her expressions when she does certain things makes me laugh especially when we get in the car to go somewhere and I turn on the windshield wipers. She tries to bark at them and eat them as if she can get through the glass. And when you’re not around she definitely goes looking for you in the house.
