Mac Mittens

Mac Mittens is a 4 year old Mix-Breed in Bel Air , , who needs $2,000 for Catheterization, Flushing the Bladder, Meds.

Bel Air

Mac Mittens was adopted from a rescue 4 years ago a few weeks after my niece passed away. My family and I had just Moved into a new home and the home had fields mice in the walls. My husband not being much of a cat person, instantly fell for macs sweet face, and decided Mac mittens was his name. He loves his best friend, my lab, boxer mixed breed dog who is also missing his bestie. Mac, in the early morning hours of Halloween 2025, was admitted to the Bel Air animal emergency hospital which severe impacted urinary tract, which we may are looking at an expensive surgery if we find that the crystals have become stones. As we sit at home with our baby being monitored by doctors we can’t help be concerned with the impending medical expenses this may incur. Mac, came into our lives while enduring a tragic loss and helped make our hearts feel at peace. He roams the house with pride and spreads love with every biscuit he needs and loving cuddle. Annoying his sister/dog and picking fights with his big sister (older adopted cat) This is an inspected expense and right before a two major birthdays and 3 major Holidays Although having full time jobs this was not something we had in our cards to figure out financially

Blu Maverick

Blu Maverick is a 4 year old Siberian Husky in Baltimore, MD, who needs $2,000 for Blood Transfusion.

Baltimore, MD

Blu was gifted to an Elderly family member that was unable to care for him. So i was asked to care for him. He fit right in perfectly and i could tell that he appreciated his new living arrangements. When i brought Blu home i noticed he had worms really bad. I figured after he was vaccinated that he would pass the worms and everything would be fine. After a while i started to notice Black stool which is a indication of bleeding in the intestines. I took them to Owings mills veterinary hospital where i was charged 700 and told there was nothing i can do after waiting hours. I had my 17 year old nephew move in last school year and him and Blu are best of friends. I noticed a improvement in my nephew in so many areas once Blue came home with us. His favorite spot is my brown chair which I forbid anyone to sit. He is the same color as the chair and he look so comfortable that i changed the rules. I have already spent over 2,000 trying save Blu. I have no more money. I now have a kid in my care (my nephew) and i just dont have it. I really need help and i dont know what to do.

Felix

Felix is a 4 month old European Shorthair in Edgewood , MD, who needs $2,000 for Diagnosis and Treatment.

Edgewood, MD

We live in a 3 bedroom townhouse, with his sister. Their birthday was in April, and we finally met him in early June. It’s a spacey house for him and his sister to run around and play. Hes extremely active and greedy! But since the last 3 days ago he started throwing up, having diarreah, barely eating and barely moving.. it was not normal for us. We took him to an animal emergency hospital and they told us they couldn’t find anything due to our budget we gave them and sent him home with pain and nausea meds. The next day I noticed he had a weird sound in lungs. I was never a cat person, until my father brought home a kitten. He had big doe eyes, and meowed so cutely falling in love was out of my control. I knew it was meant to be. I am a College student who lives with her widowed father. I work part time so I can focus on school and my father does the best he can…. And it’s sad to say I can’t afford my baby’s health.

Rylie

Rylie is a 4-year-old Shih Tzu in Elkton, MD, who needs $2,000 for Spinal Surgery and Rehabilitation.

Elkton, MD

I was supposed to be dog sitting this puppy while his owner went to go have their baby, and they never came back to pick him up. Rylie has a added sister Isabella I owned prior to him coming to me. His name was Oaty when he came to me but I knew that was not the name for him so I settled on Rylie and call him Bubby for nickname. Rylie is the life of our home. He loves to whine for me to throw his toys and nudge me when it’s time to go to bed. He sleeps right at the top of my head before making his way down to my tummy for middle of the night snuggles. He loves to wake up at 3am to go outside and get his zoomies out with his sister before coming in to get his good boy snack. Rylie came to me able to sit perfectly up on his but and had amazing balance. He percs right up when play fighting with his sister. When he gets in trouble he knows just what to do to get out of it laying on his back for belly rubs or giving me kisses when I try to give him a stern talking to to make me be quiet and forgive him. Rylie suddenly was unable to walk like he usually does one morning, as the day went on he wasn’t eating or drinking and couldn’t go to the bathroom on his own. I took him to the hospital to find out he has a compressed disc and a calcified dip in his spine causing his back legs to not work and him to not be able to urinate on his own. I am a CNA that lives alone and provides everything for our home. I simply do not make enough money or have anything saved to be able to pay for Rylie’s medical expenses, I want him to have the best quality of life and be as comfortable as possible.

Photo of Sally

Sally

Sally is a 10-year-old Yorkshire Terrier in Delta, PA, who needs $2,000 for Aspiration Pneumonia .

Stewartstown, PA

Sally came to us two years ago with her “sister” Suzie. Her family was elderly and had too many dogs and needed to “downsize.” We were so blessed to get these two charming little girls. They were so full of love!!! She was very shy at first but quickly became a complete love bug. She gives us so much joy and happiness! Sally isn’t afraid of anything. She keeps the rest of the “pack” in check and readily let’s them know if their behavior is not acceptable to her. We have a 110lb Pit Bull who learned not to misbehave around Sally, lest he be told to settle down. She’s spunky and loving and sweet to everyone she meets but doesn’t tolerate nonsense. Due to medical issues and the COVID situation my fiancé has been out of work for several months over the last 12 months. We already used our savings to initiate treatment for Sally. Our bill is now over $3000 and continued to grow! On Sunday around midnight I found Sally chewing on a rat bait. We had been packing and taking out furniture and preparation to move. The bait had been placed months ago and I checked all over the room we cleaned out and didn’t see it. It must have been stuck to a dresser we removed from the house, and fell off when we put the dresser out the door. I induced vomiting and as a result she aspirated. Sally loves to be loved but in a very shy manner. When she wants attention she will quietly climb into your lap and tap you with her little paw. Once you start petting her she won’t let you stop. Tapping you repeatedly if you try! Belly rubs are her favorite. She loves to sneak in a quick kiss on your nose also.
