Pup came into our lives when she was about 6 weeks old. She dumped on a back rd. My husband was on this back rd and seen what he thought was field rat. As he got closer her realized it was a puppy he pulled over to try to catch her but she was so scared she went running into the woods. We ended up catching her and she has been apart of our family ever since On 4-18-24 I took pup to our vet because she wasn't eating normally. The vet did blood work, blood work showed pup had diabetes, fast forward to the last week of June pup was not seeing so well the eye dr said she has diabetic cataracts the Dr says she has a 90% chance of getting her vision back. We took her to Animal eye care in Cary NC With pups back ground being dumped on a back rd and left alone as a young pup she didn't let that change her. She is the sweetest girl. When my mom passed its like she knee. And she would lay with me and lock my face as to tell me everything would be ok. And my granddaughter and pup are so close. She is my granddaughter shadow. She loves to play ball with my granddaughter. She is our family! I am disabled and live off very little. Getting this surgery for pup would mean everything to us. Pup would be herself again. Being blind has made pup very depressed and skiddish and it breaks my heart not to see her happy loving self
