Stella
Stella is a 1 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback in Greenville , SC, who needs $2,000 for Aspirational Pneumonia.
Greenville, SC
Stella has been the best addition to our family as she is our only child. She joined our family a little over a year ago and has become our whole world. She provides laughter, spunk and so much personality. Stella was perfectly healthy. We got her spayed about 2 weeks ago and she fell ill after the surgery. She developed what we found out was aspiration pneumonia and hasn’t been well since. It’s a desperate and scary situation. The infection has resisted all antibiotics tried so far, and we are running out of funds to keep her in the emergency vet. But she still needs their care until we can beat It Stella is sweet, spunky, funny, and the best cuddler. She has brought so much life to our world and we can’t imagine days without her. She is sweet to everyone she meets, children, grandparents, everyone. Stella has spent 5 nights at the emergency vet, and she is still not eating on her own so she cannot be discharged. Each night at the ER is $2,000 and we are running out of funds. We need more time!

Dank
Dank is a 8-year-old Boxer Mix in Charlotte , NC, who needs $1,500 for Root Canal.
Charlotte, NC
I rescued Dank at 5 weeks old from a dog fighter; his mama was a bait dog. Hes been my best friend since the day I got him. He goes everywhere with me and doesn't leave my side. We call him Mr Personality, he loves people especially kids. He loves to play and eat a ton of treats. Hes super loving and extremely loyal. Every one who meets him falls in love. He's so loyal and he loves his mama more than anything. He don't eat his treats until I get back home after leaving. He is such a lover and is always supportive during rough times. He fractured a k9 tooth and needs a root canal. The tooth can't be pulled. Hes in a lot of pain and super depressed. Hes not eating as normal and reluctant to drink. He's the reason I live. Without him I wouldn't make it. He's my child and the only joy that I have. I would give my life for him without a doubt in a split second

Ava
Ava is a 2-year-old American Pitbull in Charlotte , NC, who needs $1,200 for Entropion.
Charlotte, NC
A gift for my son we got her when she was a puppy back in April 2022 as we watched her grow I started to notice something going wrong with her eyes. I took her to the vet and they diagnosed it with conjunctivitis being that there was not much we can do because we were moving and relocating to North Carolina. We had to wait until we found a veterinarian here and since then we’ve been seeking help She likes to sleep in my son‘s room. She likes to play at the park and run and chase him being that she likes to play her condition has gotten in her way. is sad she can’t play like she wants without without scratching at her eyes. She stays constantly rubbing her eyes against furniture the ground to dry them the best way she thinks but we always have a cloth or paper towel to dry them. She is special. This is my sons first dog when he leaves to go to school she watches at the door all day intel he gets comes in from school and runs and jumps on him and give him big wet kisses because she knows when he gets in from school it’s her and his time when he plays and goes and walks with her outside She has a condition called conjunctivitis is when she has too much skin around her eyelids, the bottom of her eyelids, and the folds under rubbing against her eyeballs, causing irritation rawness she has been seen at the vet here in Charlotte and they provided her with a prescription for Benadryl until she can get the proper surgery done/ It would mean a lot to us just to get her back seeing well and back at her playful self and not having to waking up scratching at her eyes because of the irritation, we would love just to see her eyes open big and bright again

Zeus
Zeus is a five-year-old Maine Coon cat mix in Woodstock, GA, who needs $1,000 for eye surgery.
Woodstock, GA • Maine Coon Rescue
If Zeus could talk, he would have quite a story to tell. His foster mom, Lisa G., tells Waggle she doesn't know his entire history--- but before he came to Maine Coon Rescue, Zeus was apparently a "cat about town." "He was the stray tomcat in the neighborhood," Lisa says. Now Zeus's jaunts around the community and one-night-stands are over. He got rescued and neutered. When he first came to Lisa, he was not in good shape. "He was a mess. His hair was so dirty and matted. He could hardly move around," she adds. "Zeus also kept closing his eyes. At first, we thought it was an infection." Zeus's fur was an easy fix after a bath and some grooming. But his eye condition did not get better with antibiotics and ointments. The rescue's veterinarian recommended Zeus see a specialist at the Animal Eye Clinic. It turns out Zeus has a condition where part of his eyelids face inward toward his eyeball. It's called Entropion. This can result in scratches and even ulcers on his cornea causing him to lose his vision. He needed surgery immediately to fix the condition. Lisa says Zeus is an awesome cat, and once he's healed up, he will be up for adoption. She can't wait to see him shine in his forever home. "He's so relaxed. He goes with the flow. I've never heard him hiss or growl," she says. "He's a complete lap cat. He always wants to be with me all the time. Right now, he's sitting on my lap. He's a doll. He's like a dog stuck in a cat's body. He's a gentle giant." Maine Coon Rescue is a nonprofit organization that depends on others' generosity to help fund the medical care the group provides to cats in need. If you can help Zeus see a bright future, they would be so grateful.
