Penny needed me just as much as I needed her starts this story. I recently lost everything to a house fire, and when I say everything, Im talking about Dank, MJ, Blaze, & Piper, a beautiful boxer family of four. Ive lost one at a time to old age thru the years, but the hole left from this tragedy was too much, I needed a mans best friend. I found Penny in a craigslist ad. She was living in a tiny trailer on a Tennessee mountainside with 4 adults, 2 toddlers, and 2 cats. The owners said they couldnt give her the time and attention she needed and they really couldnt afford her. When I first saw her, I saw this growth inside her mouth that was about 3/4" round, coming out the right side of her jaw. They said they didnt know anything abt it, they couldnt afford it. Why is she special? Because we need each other, we have bonded thru this. Shes helping me, and I need to help her back. Shes such an awesome girl and doesnt appear to have any other issues. Ive never asked for help like this before, but Ive also never been in a situation like this either. If I hadnt lost everything in a housefire, i would already have her to a vet and be looking into my options. But right now, im struggling and need help, for Pennys sake.
