I rescued Biby from a dog breeder in San Antonio, Texas, when she was just 2 weeks old. The breeder was looking to get rid of her and her siblings, and although I could only take one, she’s been with us ever since. I take both Biby and Maya on daily walks, and a couple of weeks ago, I noticed something alarming—Biby had urinated blood. I immediately rushed her to the vet, and after some tests, we found out she has a bladder stone the size of an egg. She’s scheduled for surgery next week at our local veterinary clinic here in Temple, Texas. Biby is a cheerful dog who absolutely adores her sister, Maya, a pitbull I adopted from a shelter two years after bringing Biby home. Their bond is heartwarming to watch, and it’s clear that they bring out the best in each other. She and Maya are inseparable, whether they’re lounging around the house or exploring the neighborhood on our daily walks. I am currently pursuing my master’s degree while also helping out my parents, so any assistance with covering the surgery costs would mean a lot. I’m usually the one offering help to others, but this time, I’m the one in need of support.
