La Roussette
La Roussette is a 7-year-old Toy Poodle in Columbia, MD, who needs $1,500 for Left Front Leg Amputation,.
Columbia, MD
3 weeks after adopting La Rousette from breeder she jumped out of the stroller I use to take my pups in and out of the senior apartment building where I live. She fractured her leg in two places. I am a retired senior on a fixed income. I did not have pet insurance. I desperately need help with the expense of surgery to save her front left leg. La Rousette is 7 years old and the smallest and sweetest of the 4 toy poodles I have adopted over the years. She is very fragile at 4.6 lbs. She loves to give kisses. She gets along well with my other toy poodle Tiny who is 10. She follows us wherever we go and is great addition since my other toy poodle Tiger passed away after 19 years with me. La Rousette makes you smile the way she looks up at you and makes you smile. She loves to give kisses if she gets near your face and wants a little of whatever you are eating. She never complains about the soft cast she has been in or shows that she is in any pain. She scurries around on her 3 legs without complaint. La Roussette has a wonderful vet who has worked with me to help with the expenses of caring for her at the most reasonable prices, even senior discounts. Spaying her at a discount. She needs an additional surgery to save her leg. I have entertained the thought of allowing her to be adopted by someone who can afford to care for her. I retired in 2018 and live on a fixed income. I have spent a considerable amount of my savings caring for La Roussette and must spend more, but need help. Your maximum help is a fraction of what it will take to save her leg from amputation.

Hayley
Hayley is a 13-year-old Toy Fox Terrier in Frederick, MD, who needs $1,600 for urgent dental surgery.
Frederick, MD
Sometimes being in the right place at the right time can change your life! It did for Kristen P. In 2011, Kristen walked into a local grocery store and spotted a poster for a dog, Hayley, that needed a home. "Her previous owners divorced, and neither could keep her," Kristen tells Waggle. "I went to see her the next day. We immediately clicked, and the rest is history!" Hayley has been Kristen's rock through the roughest times of her life, including her mom passing away. "My mom loved Hayley," Kristen says. "Hayley can read my energy and comfort me the way I need. She lays her little body on me, and instantly I feel at peace." Now Hayley needs urgent dental surgery to extract abscessed teeth. If she doesn't have the procedure, she could get a life-threatening infection from the bacteria in her mouth that enters the bloodstream. Kristen is having trouble paying for the surgery, and the pair needs your help. "My savings was spent after my divorce, moving, and starting life over," Kristen says. "I'm limited in work due to a connective tissue disorder (Ehlers-Danlos). I nanny and make enough to pay bills and provide for expected expenses. She has given me so much in life. I want to be able to do this for her."
