Bandit
Help Bandit get Drain ear, medication for ear and dry skin — Mahwah, NJ
Mahwah, NJ
I adopted Bandit from a shelter when he was 6 weeks old and we’ve been together ever since. Growing up he loved to be outside, going for hikes but no matter what he always wanted to stay close to his family. He’s very obedient and knows lots of tricks. These days in his old age he appreciates treats and laying on my bed with me. He has a hematoma in his right ear and very dry skin causing him to itch a lot, putting him in a lot of discomfort daily. It is to the point where I have a t-shirt on him so he can’t scratch himself. Because I’ve had him since he was a puppy and it’s been 11 years now. He’s very loyal to me, showing tons of affection. I love him so much and couldn’t imagine life without him. He doesn’t deserve to suffer like this. He’s always been a happy dog, full of life and I want to see that again. I wish I had the money to take him to the vet, but being unemployed and on social services I can’t afford it. I am Unemployed, I have been looking for a job for months now remotely because I don’t have a car and nothing has come up. The only income I receive is from social services which is $91 twice a month and I use that to buy dog food.I am in desperate need of help, please.

Cheddar
Cheddar is a 0 year old Mix-Breed in Stony point, NY, who needs $2,500 for Full Amputation of Tail to Avoid Infection/Sepsis.
Stony point, NY
Cheddar was rescued from my mom’s front stoop. He kept coming back and crying for food/water (caught on package cameras at front step) and one day came back with his tail ripped off, so she trapped him to rescue him and now homes him with her two other animals, two small dogs (who now also love Cheddar dearly). Cheddar had his tail ripped off about a month ago (imaging seen on our camera footage provided on his images). We are unsure if it was a cat or another animal, but the tail was ripped off close to where the nerves sit, requiring it to be a much more involved procedure of needing the entire tail cut off instead of just a simple amputation. He will be being seen at Animal Medical of New City. Cheddar is special because he was born as a street cat, but kept coming back to our front stoop every night, spending many hours crying out for help. Now that he’s been saved, he is a loving baby (only about 4-6 weeks old), who loves his two newly acquired brothers (two dogs) and is accepting his new loving home happily. This was a sudden emergency resulting in an unexpected 2.5k need for amputation of the tail as a result of its proximity to his nerves requiring a special vet and procedure. It was unexpected because cheddar is a street rescue that was not an anticipated pet as he was saved.
